All I can say is, Wow! Great burgers, shakes and beer! This place is as close as you can get to a heart attack on a bun but boy is it good! We tried the BLT, a regular double cheese burger and a specialty burger called the "Thunder Burger". Mine was the Thunder Burger! Add a little fried bologna to a burger and Bam! I also decided to try the cookies and cream shake. This thing was much creamier and smooth than most shakes that you can't drink from a straw. I like mine a little thinner. I would say this is NDFD. That was absolutely awful. I ordered the Fat & Juicy and remembered it being delicious before. I am sick to my stomach as I write this. The buns were so soggy and pale and the meat was obviously premade and frozen. The fat & juicy is a fun idea but the execution was awful, and I usually love stuff like this. Really hate writing negative reviews, and rarely have, but I wouldn't feel right if someone else fell for this place with such good reviews(not sure how) as we did. We arrived at around 6:00 and didn't have to wait long in line, ordered the pickle burger (which yelp raves about), and the Tank 7(beer). The burger was drenched in watered down cheese, old fried pickles, and unseasoned beef, spicy fries were old as well. One of the worst burgers and worst food experiences we've had. Further, one of the other groups sitting next to us spilled their coke while the host brought them their food, the host then brought a handful of napkins which was enough to get the table, but never came back to mop the ground which was in the middle of the walkway of the inside of the restaurant. We stopped in today just after 1 p.m. to try this place out. It is very open inside with a lot of tables and a long bar to sit at. The guy greeted us, we told him it was our first time there. He did a run-down of the menu and said if we had questions, feel free to ask. I decided on the kid burger, the regular ones are 2 or more patties and I knew that would be too much for me. The burgers come with just cheese, you tell them what else you want. There are specialty burgers, but I wanted to try the basic burger. My husband got the regular sized one. It didn't take long for him to bring them out. They are all in a bag, to-go style, which is great because we needed the bag later. We had a pound of the seasoned fries also. All burgers are medium unless you ask for well-done. The bun wasn't your typical bun, lighter in color. My kids burger was more like a regular and my husbands was extra large! They were amazing! The flavors were spot on! The seasoned fries with the garlic dip, they have several dipping options, were also amazing! I ate my entire burger, the fries we took home! A pound of fries is a lot! Been wanting to try this for some time now. The cook says "we have the best burgers you've ever had." I beg to differ!!!! I must say I was expecting much more. The burger meat is bland. The bun, I cant quite make out what kind of bread it is but I didn't like it. it really threw me off. The tomatoes were mushy, lettuce seemed warm. Not my type of burger at all. My niece got a chili burger, again no flavor. The shake and fries were both pretty good. would I try it again? NO! Tthis particular location could use some cleaning, most of the tables were dirty, mind you the place was empty when we arrived. This is place is nothing short of special. I came here based on many local word-of-mouth recommendations, and I was not disappointed. Coming here, I had no idea what to expect. Was it a diner, a frat bar, a dump, or a classy place? I came in with no visualizations of this place. I entered and was greeted kindly by the staff. I ordered my burger (Carolina burger I believe) and the spicy fries with Wasabi Ketchup. This came to a little over $10. While waiting for my food, I observed this place. It's like a bar, but a friendly, inviting bar (I came at 5:30PM, so maybe it changes later at night). It's like a nice bar that isn't expensive. The TVs have sports and there's cool decorations all around. I had my food in about 5 mins. The food comes in a white sack. Feel free to take it home or eat at one of the many tables here. This place can fit a good amount of people. I took a bite and I was blown away. The burger was fantastic (see picture). I then devoured into the fries, which were delicious without the sauce. The sauce just takes it to a whole other level. There's like 20+ different sauces to choose from, and they all sound amazing. Nothing too ordinary here about the sauces. The fries were seasoned really well, and that burger was just pure heaven. I eat a lot, but for $10, I was stuffed pretty good. I did not get alcohol here, but it looks like there's tons of beers on tap to choose from, and bottles to choose from as well. I'd definitely come back here. In fact, I would take a friend or family visiting from out of town to this place. It's incredible, fast, easy, and cheap. I am glad I finally tried this place. I thought I was going to love this place, but I was so disappointed. The cashier was curt, the outdoor seating area that I thought was great at first, had two dirty trash cans that drew flies, birds were sitting in the trees pooping, the hamburger meat was grey color and barely warm, the bottom half of the fries were butt ends of potatoes. The parking lot is small and crammed with huge SUVs that make it hard to get out. The entire outdoor area including the trash cans need to be power washed every morning, or at least put liners in the cans so old liquid isn't sloshing around in the bottom drawing flies and emitting a rotten odor. I have a friend that loves this location, it has always been good for her, 11:00 a.m. Is definitely not the time to go. Now for the good, the top inch of fries were good. read more

This place has good burgers but have horrible service! I tipped them as I paid before my food was served, but then asked for a cup of water but was handed a empty cup and I could go get it myself! Fat Guy's butts up against Oneok Field located in the historic Greenwood district. Fat Guy's Burger Bar is by far (in my opinion) the best burger in town! I have been here several times and have always had a good experience and a full belly when I left. You want options? Then options is what you're going to get! They have a million different sauces...well not that many but several...and that's just for your fries. They can fix a burger just about any possible way you can think of, including with peanut butter and jelly. I haven't been brave enough to try that one yet. They keep a clean shop and the employees are friendly. They are a little higher than other burger joints but in this case you get what you pay for! Will I be back again? Do elephants have big ears? Try the kid's cheeseburger with grilled onions, grilled pineapple and BBQ sauce for a tropical twist (tons of topping choices at no extra charge). Or ask for the caramelized onion aioli for a flavor kick ($0.50 extra). Order the fries spicy- not hot spicy but a flavor kick; it's a spicy seasoned salt. Good food, continues to have horrible service. Called on the phone to order takeout. They finally answered the phone and put me on hold. Got in the car and started to drive. I thought, they must be busy... walked in after being on hold for 17 minutes, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, one person ahead of me and two girls working the registers... so confusing. Not the first time by the way... may be my last time to Fat Guys. To top it all off, I got home and did not have half of my order. I live in Florida, originally from Cali on vacation visiting my daughter. I was so happy to eat here today. This is one of my daughters favorite places to eat in Tulsa! The food was unique and very delicious . The man who worked there was excellent with customer service and made me want to come back. The sauces were fresh and very yummy. The Parmesan peppercorn sauce was amazing. I had a kids cheese burger- it was plenty of food with the large amount of fries that came in the small order. I added pineapple and mushroom and barbq sauce! Yummy I tried my daughters milkshake , Oreo- Oh my goodness! It was sooo good! I'll be back next time I visit! Thanks for a great experience! I have heard of this place because I went to the one downtown after a baseball game once for MANmosas, but never had the food or knew too much about it. I was pretty pleased and surprised to see that it is right by my house, conveniently located near a Jenny Craig LOL. I have been here several times and it is a good place to go if you are hung over. Also do not come here if you are trying to diet, it is not going to work out for you at all! The MANmosas I get every time I am here and is the best thing you can get for your money. I have yet to try their beers, but I know I will one of these days. The burgers are amazing, they are fresh and you could honestly come here every day and not get the same thing. The fries are fresh and all the sauces are amazing!! So many choices and you can never go wrong no matter what you choose. They have an outdoor seating area as well, so when it is not hot as hell outside it would be a good place to try! I take anyone who is here from out of town for lunch here at least once! Fantastic! We are from out of town so this was our first experience with Fat Guys - but we love some good burgers! Our family of 7 all pretty much tried a different burger and no one was disappointed! The fries and garlic aioli were also really flavorful! This place was just not good there was really not much good about it other than it satisfied my hunger for the time being which is surprising You know a place is bad when you're starving and it still wasn't good. So guys I am very ashamed of myself for what I've done I've done something wrong today and I feel like I really degraded myself after sitting there and in taking this soggy greasy mess of a burger this thing maybe want to puke but I ate it and now I want to puke even more but I feels weird because I don't want to become bulimic. I would've rather stuffed garbage into my mouth and eat that I have a trashcan like a raccoon and then that's pretty much it. The bathrooms disgusting they had no soap and were weirdly humid just all-around nasty. The employees were in their own world I don't really have anything negative to say but I think U get the idea no they weren't mean in fact they were friendly but a little too friendly friendly like my manager is not here friendly. The buns were disgustingly soggy with all of the grease the burger took about three minutes to make which makes me think that it was already sitting there and just got reheated and the condiments that I had requested were slapped on. Went to this place because of the reviews. 4 stars... I can't figure out how they got this as I am pretty easy going and like good food. From the moment walking in the lady behind the counter could care less that I had never been there and was confused about the burgers they had. I just picked one that sounded good and she asked if I wanted anything else. I asked if it came with a drink and fries and she said no. I said I'd like a drink and fries... getting a little frustrated with her "you're bothering me" attitude. I went to the bathroom and it was gross. Knew this was going to be an issue as you know the old saying.... I then went to look for a place to sit and... I'm not joking... every table was dirty. The place was 1/5 full and every table was dirty. My food came out and the fries were terrible. They had been double fried or were just plain bad. The ketchup packets thrown in the bag were all stuck together. And would not easily come apart. I went to ask the other lady behind the counter if I could have different ketchup but she was buried on her cell phone laying halfway across the counter (i was there on 2/4 around 8:15 so owners... look at the camera and you will see). I would have given this place just one star but the sausage and egg burger was actually pretty good. However, I would avoid this place. Service is horrible and it is not clean.
