I have frequented this spot a handful of times since my first review, most recently with my friend Melissa to try some of their featured mortadella sandwiches. We arrived right at 5 pm on a Friday and the place was almost full already! We were surprised but happy for them, and glad to get a nice cozy two-top in a back corner. We were greeted by our awesome server and ordered some food -- two different mortadella sandwiches and an order of fried pickles to start. Neither of us ordered drinks, but I saw some fun-looking cocktails coming over to nearby tables. The fried pickles came out first and they were perfection. I don't usually get this appetizer because I don't like fried pickle spears, but these were thin chips. The ratio of the fried pickle chip vs. spear is way better. And these came with the best runny ranch. It was a huge portion to split between the two of us, so we had lots left over. Our sandwiches came out shortly after and looked amazing. They were super stacked with tons of meat! I really liked the addition of the grainy mustard which helped cut through the fattiness of the meat. My friend liked hers - it had pistachio butter and ricotta (similar to a delicious sandwich I ate at a wine bar in Detroit). Portions are large and it's a cozy, neighborhood spot. After hearing so many good things from friends, we decided to come experience Two Guys Brewing for ourselves! We were unfortunately disappointed by the service and pricing. We were seated quickly, the interior was nicely decorated with Mardi Gras beads. It took a while for our server to come to greet us and eventually bring our drinks. I enjoyed the variety of drink offerings! I was torn between a few items and asked the servers recommendation. I ended up choosing a Korean chicken bowl. The flavors were okay but for almost $20 felt a bit lackluster. Our friends told us the burgers are a must try so maybe in the future that would be what I try instead. Our server seldom came to our table, we had to flag her down to order more drinks and even then she forgot and we had to remind her we placed another drink order. The restaurant was not very busy and we could see her chatting with a table that seemed like employees or family members of employees as people were coming in and out of the kitchen to sit at the table. We had a table of four (two couples) and the server would not split our bill which was fine but a bit inconveniencing. I appreciate local, family owned businesses but felt that our experience was a bit off on this night. I love the mission of Two Guys and their community engagement so I will likely try them again, it could've just been a rough night. read more

Two guys probably has the best food of any brewery in Grand Rapids. Honestly, if beer became obsolete tomorrow, these guys would be fine because their food is that good. Our our past visit we both tried out specials. I got the chicken gizzards while my husband tried out the fried rabbit. They were both exceptional. Awesome perch sandwich, fresh lake perch piled on a delicious poboy style bread. The American cheese goes really well on there with its delicious tater sauce. One of the Best fish sandwiches I've ever had. Great service from the bartender Chris I would highly recommend this sandwich and all the food here at two guys. read more

Quaint little spot although they have a big outdoor patio for summer. Wife and I got away for another date night and it has been awhile since we were here. The food is always great and the service was very efficient and friendly. My Buffalo chicken and Mac wasn't best ever bones this time around but still tasty (think the Buffalo sauce overwhelmed the cheesiness was my guess as the difference). My wife liked her chicken sandwich and the fries were very good. We started with the Goonie dip and it was flavorful and well prepared. Personally I'll give the edge to their pulled pork nachos but worth a try especially if you like crab Rangoon. They were out of cider which was unfortunate but should be coming back soon which was a bummer but they have decent options for non beer still. Definitely should give the place a try! read more

Two Guys is our favorite neighborhood bar and restaurant! Located right down the street from Lamar Park, Two Guys is in a great location to go on a walk, see a baseball game, or play disc golf before hanging out. There's a male host who is perhaps one of the nicest and most helpful hosts I've ever met. I forget his name, but he wears glasses and helped give me the best locations to take photos. I've never once had a bad meal. Ive eaten from the regular and mardi gras menu multiple times a year. I've had the pastas quite a few times and always really enjoyed them, but the sandwiches and burgers are phenomenal. I think it's fun to try a new fry seasoning every time I go to mix up the flavors. I can't speak to the drinks because I'm allergic to alcohol but my fiance likes the different seltzers and the beers. The major downside to the restaurant is solely the wait times. Be prepared to be in the restaurant for 1-2 hours. A great feature they have is being able to order pick up and also being able to buy things from the fridges in the front. During mardi gras you can even snag some fresh meals for a quick snack. Overall, an exceptional place with FREE PARKING. read more

Hmmmmmmmm.... I'm conflicted between 3 or 4 stars. Our waitress was less than desired, but our host was amazing and saved the day more than once. Not all super heroes wear capes. This was our first time at Two Guys Brewing and boy was it busy for a Saturday and I was excited for their limited edition albeit delicious sounding Mardi Gras menú. My family met me after a long Saturday workday. I put our name in for the table and our host was kind, informative and honest. All of which I appreciated. He was welcoming and put our name on the list and quoted that it could be between 15-45 min before we could be sat depending on the crowd and how long they wanted to drink. He told us how to order a drink, gave us his recommendations and kindly asked us not to block the way to the bathroom when standing by the bar. We were seated in about 15-20 min. They had some crayons for the kids to draw with. The whole place was decorated with NOLA colored umbrellas and beads hanging from the ceiling. Festive & Fun. Two Guys makes their own beer, cider, and seltzers. They make all their stuff literally across the street! I began with a sample of the blonde ale. Good. Next the cider with a pump of peach, delicious! Finished with a seltzer with blackberry and lime... best drink I had all night! I was most excited about the seasonal Mardi Gras menú. I started with the oyster shooter. Everything about it was great... except the oyster. The waitress offered a replacement, but once you're tried an old oyster it's hard to get back in the mood. I politely declined and instead ordered a new drink. They charged me $5 for the old oyster shooter. Strike one. Followed up with the boudin balls. Delicately battered with cornmeal and a slight offal flavor. We ate about half of the balls and were good. Probably wouldn't order again for $12. Hubby ordered chicken and sausage gumbo which he gave a 6/10 because it had a bitterness to it and not enough rice and no French bread accompaniment. I ordered the mid city catfish dinner, but perhaps should've followed staff recommendations for the Irish channel dinner. I just thought the prior was more French Cajun, but was expecting French fries rather than American fries. Overall, I was pleased, but would've rather had the colcannon any day as my starch. Kids were happy with their lemonade's and hamburger & fries, however my little girl despised her fruit cup (she's spoiled and used to fresh fruit not sealed mandarin oranges) she thought it too sour. Our waitress was missing in action and I had trouble getting her attention. In her defense she was busy with a full house and multiple tables. The host noticed and got our refill order and sought out the waitress. The host literally saved our night! He was so amazing. If we come back, it's solely because of the host's amazing customer service and the brewery's nice home brews. I think we can easily wait until next year to sample the Mardi Gras menu, if we make it out, again. If you want delicious and fresh oysters, check out Low country Carolina's happy hour menu. The atmosphere here is a 7-11 meets a Brewery. Okay that is a little on the nose as this is located in a former 7-11. Honestly though considering it used to be a convenient store they did an impressive job giving it flair and a warmth to it. Plus right now it's dressed up for Mardi Gras, so that's fun. I ordered from their Mardi Gras / Cakun menu they are currently offering. I got their Crawfish Etouffee ($19). It comes over rice or cheese grits. I've never seen it over grits before, but the waitress recommended it. It works, the grits were an excellent accoutrement to the Etouffee. The Etouffee itself was excellent with a decent amount of heat to it, but not so much it burns. The Person I was with ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich ($14) from the regular menu. It was stated to be very good and the portion size was very generous. The fries (+$2) were excellent. A unique spice on them with the perfect combination of crispness and soft centers. I got 3 Beignets ($6) they came out warm and fluffy with a ton of powdered sugar on them. They were very good. The service was very friendly and helpful. They seem to enjoy their jobs and that always helps. Overall an easy 5 star review? Would I return? Absolutely. On fact I will be by again this month to try a PO Boys while it is on the menu. Underrated! It was my first time here, and my immediate impression of it was that it was a very homey, casual, and personal. STAFF: It seems like a very tight-knit community where the staff know the regulars, yet always welcoming the new people to the place. The staff were very engaging, personal, yet seemed like they were also having fun. I was really impressed with this! FOOD: Incredible. I can't believe this place is a brewery, because it is not "brewery level food", it's even better. For most of Jan-March, they have food in style for Mardi Gras, and the level of ingredients, presentation, and taste were great. It's definitely one of the best food I've had from a brewery, and it's not even located downtown. I highly recommend going during this tie ENVIRONMENT: Again, a very welcoming, casual environment, perfect for larger groups, small groups, couples, and friends. How have I never heard of this place?! Found on Yelp, decided to give it a try and do glad we did! Not a big beer/cider/seltzer drinker so can't comment on that but have a nice menu of mocktails and craft sodas. Food menu has lots of good options including smash burgers, salads, Mac & cheese and various sandwiches. Service was good, Ryan was great with suggestions. I had the NY Reuben with a side of Brussel sprouts, hubby had a Blue Cheese Smashburger with Chili lime fries. Both sandwiches were huge, generous sides, hot and delicious! Kind of bad luck, but you should be aware that their website tap list may be outdated (which should be easy to update in this day and age), despite being where the table QR code directs you. I ordered other beers instead, but they were very average for what they were (oatmeal stout, English brown). Nothing groundbreaking here on the beer front. It's not cool to hear "we're out" multiple times for the reason why you came. read more

We walked in as a party of 3 after several other breweries told us how utterly amazing the food is. We love a good scratch kitchen, so we hopped on over. It was decorated for Mardi gras and fairly busy, yest we were able to seat ourselves immediately. Service was painfully slow. We ordered drinks and 1 app right away. It took a long time for the app to come out & we had finished it before our dinner order was taken. It was over a 2-hour dining visit, from order to finish. The beer was decent & appreciated as they were a bit heavy-handed with the salt. The hubs had the beer battered fish, which he said was good. Our friend had a pork sandwich with brussel sprouts - both were pretty salty. I had the pate special, which came with lots of pickled veggies and 2 kinds of crackers that got fairly soggy. I very much enjoyed the pate & would have loved a funky cheese on the plate instead of the crackers. It wasn't a bad stop, just very long & fell short of what we expected. After reading the reviews we were excited to try Two Guys. Considering Michigan is "brew pub" heaven it seemed promising. Sadly,this was not the case. First the Mac & cheese was mediocre at best.Honestly had a better M&C at a food truck in Grand Haven.Secondly I tried the fish & chips.BIG mistake! My fries were absolutely COLD...no warmth whatsoever.My fish was .....well- fishy. It had a strong fish flavor & typically Fish & Chips has a mild flavor which I usually enjoy.Not so here. Came here off a whim with a few of my buddies, it's safe to say that I was very disappointed. For the quality of the food and the service, the price of almost everything single thing on the menu is expensive. I ended up ordering the Buffalo chicken mac, and once our order was taken our server disappeared and our food took a WHILE to come out, I sat with an empty cup of water for about 20 minutes. Once I got my food, everything looked fabulous up until I started eating it to find that I essentially ordered chicken Mac and buffalo, there was absolutely no cheese because of how much Buffalo sauce they drenched the dish in and the ingredients that they put into it left a very weird medicine taste in my mouth, my buddy ordered the 2x2 and his burger came with a lot of cheese, maybe the chef felt extra generous but it really ruined the dish. The ambiance was very lacking, we chose to do outdoor seating and as the sun went down, it quickly became very dark and the lights that they have outside do absolutely nothing,I ate my food in the dark with no background music. I fought with myself going in between a 4 and 5 star rating but landed on 5. I think the only reason I was considering a 4 was solely based on the ambiance. It's an old 7 Eleven (I think) that was repurposed into a brewery. There is seemingly a Mardi Gras theme of some sort but I think I'm missing something. Just a bunch of colorful beads thrown in the rafters and lots of color/tie dye. But, this app isn't really meant to be about judging interior design so I'll end it there. Everything else was deserving of a 5. Very large menu, both drink and food. The beer menu itself is relatively small but there were plenty of other drink options between beer, wine, seltzers, etc. I went with their ESB and loved it. My wife got their "Boob Sweat" blonde and liked it for a hot day out in the sun beer. Food wise, I wasn't too hungry and just got chicken tenders. I think it's an unwritten law that it's illegal to write a food review based on chicken tenders. She ordered their dry batter fished and loved it. Our server was very friendly and continuously check in on us. I'd like to go back when I can try their actual food options rather than just their chicken tenders... which were good by the way. :) read more

I can't say enough good things about this brewery. A little on the smaller size, but what they lack in size they make up for with delicious beer and food. First.. the beer? Superb. The beer boob sweat is amazing, and we even got some to take home. I had a michelada made with their blonde ale and it was awesome. The bread pudding? Amazing. Overall I liked this place! It's been on my list forever but glad I finally got to check it out. We walked in for dinner and it was seat yourself. It was busy! The server came almost right away and took our drink orders. They have Detroit City Soda which I've had before and like a lot. They of course have a lot of beer options and you can always choose to have a seltzer with a flavoring syrup of your choosing. There is so much on their menu that it is hard to choose. They always have really intriguing specials too that I see posted on their Facebook all the time. My friends and I started with the Goonie Dip which is Crab Rangoon Dip with Wonton Chips. It was really good! I liked this alot. For our entrees my friends had the Thai Flatbread and the Veggie Flatbread. They both looked really good. I got the 2x2 burger which is basically a patty melt with a regular burger bun! Loved the grilled onions on this. It was a lot of meat with the 2 Pattie's. I wasn't able to finish it. I also ordered a side salad with my burger for an additional $3 which I thought was a great price for the size and quality of the salad! Their house vinaigrette was good. My friends and I all agreed that we liked our meals but would probably order something different next time! I'm looking forward to trying them out again. read more

In my ~humble opinion~, two guys has THE best brewery food in the Grand Rapids area! Every time we go, the food is spot on. They also have fun seltzer cocktails, usually some boozy slushies, and of course, beer. Their beer has always been consistently good, but they're not anything flashy/exceptionally unique. But that's where their food shines through! Their menu changes frequently, so if you see them post something delicious looking on their instagram, be sure to get there ASAP to try it out! They have indoor seating, and, when the weather is good, a gorgeous little patio as well. On the patio, you'll see their garden boxes, where they grow veggies and things that they use in their food! This place was jam packed on a Saturday night. It's cute and quirky. Great menu options and over a dozen sauces. Delicious batter on the fish, chicken and shrimp! Large portions. Very tasty food! I'd go again BUT not when they are busy. It took an hour and a half to get our food. But not just us. The entire dining room also sat and waited for over an hour. Maybe they need more cooks. Really enjoyed our visit to Two Guys Brewing! I had their DIPA and Station 3, an oatmeal stout, and both were fantastic! The DIPA had some fruity notes and a bit of sour. The oatmeal stout was full bodied and super tasty. We ordered the Two Guys fries, the crab Rangoon dip with wonton chips, and the chorizo dip. All starters were incredible! For my meal. I had the smokehouse Reuben. It was perfect, nice, crisply toasted bread, beef, cheese and their bourbon bbq sauce. The staff was so friendly and warm and made us feel like we were regulars. A ton of tables with garden boxes that contained flowers and vegetables. Live music was playing which made the vibe that much better. I started with their gingerbread joe- Christmas ale which was phenomenal. I then had the fries with pigpile, to start, and it was absolutely amazing. The meat was tender, the fries cooked perfectly, and the sauces were all amazing compliments to each other. For dinner, I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich which was perfect. Thus far, this has moved to the #1 chicken sandwich in Grand Rapids area. The Cajun sauce with the sweet jalapeños was a pure delight. The sandwich was massive and made me nervous that I would wind up having to eat the chicken with a fork, but the buns were quality and didn't fall apart. After dinner we decided we wanted to sit around, and continue to listen to the live music so we ordered seltzer's to finish off our outing. They were to die for. Their menu was so diverse and original that it was hard to decide. Both our choices were good. We decided after having our drinks that two guys was probably our new go to. Clearly the people in the area know it's a good spot because the inside and outside were completely full when we left. I'm now letting all the weary travelers know that it's worth the trip. Overall this place is amazing. Everything from their menu, to their food, drinks, and service is top notch. The brewery is also unique when it comes to drinks. I had the pleasure of having lunch at Two Guys Brewing this afternoon. They did not disappoint!! I started with the watermelon hard ice tea. Amazing! Then ordered the All jacked up burger with fries. Again, amazing! I wanted to eat the burger all over again, so I'll definitely be back. The service was excellent. Best I've had in a while. I sat alone at the bar but far from alone I was. The staff chatted with me about their passion for working there, creating the menu and making the deliciously spicy sauces. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Visited 11/7/25, had a less than ideal experience while sitting at the bar. There were about 4-6 servers and staff hanging out at the end of the bar, talking and goofing around. The bartenders were more interested in goofing off and talking to their friends. There was a conversation about poop between the staff and bartenders. They were playing a game where someone would name a plant(e.g tomato), then they would say "I have a tomato for your butt". There was a lack of awareness and service to some of the customers. The bartender didn't stand out Reel Pass, and she forgot to charge us for something. I had to interrupt her 5 minute long conversations to get a box. Overall, it just wasn't great service and I said something about it when she gave us the bill. I was a little aggressive and told her "Glad you noticed us". Not the best way to handle it, I will admit. The reaction I got was pure anger from her. When I got home I gave them a call. I didn't want to write a bad review, just wanted them to be more aware of the customers. My wife and I had been long time customers at Two Guys, this was a chance to give some constructive criticism and apologize for my lack of finesse earlier. Chris told me he was the person in charge and he immediately berated me for being entitled, needy(his words were Sorry we didn't notice you every 38 seconds). Less than 30 seconds into the conversation he told us not to come back. They weren't going to kiss our butts, it wasn't the 60s anymore, etc. Then he started apologizing in the most snotty and insincere way possible. I told him his apology was full of shit, then he accused me of swearing at the staff and customers(which I did not do, I did everything I could not to cause a scene at the brewery after my first statement). He then told us we were banned from Two Guys for life. So... Moral of the story, don't ever complain at Two Guys or else you will be banned for life. read more

I would only go if you are a party of 2 or less or are not a girl... i also recommend to not wear bright colors and only go if you are going after a funeral or after church. Do not expect to have fun. They take 20 mins to bring a water. If you want service only whisper. Be aware if you do not come in contact with the staff they will talk shit about you. In all seriousness though, this place was not welcoming. We were more accommodating to them than they were to us. We were a party of 15 ordered only 1 drink asked for the drinks to be on one check and the bartender said "I'm so glad the bridal party left." It looks like in previous reviews other women had the same experience unfortunately. read more
