Oh my goodness were we happy we stumbled on this place - we were actually looking for Asian food but when we saw this we had to try and and both my friend and I were so very happy. They were patient and helpful. I loved that when I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, the man working the counter said that I could add to the sandwich that I wanted and it was amazing - loved the friend oreo's that we got as well. So good - can't wait to go back to Boulder to experience this again.

I ordered a 9" cheesesteak. What they don't tell you is that it's only 2" wide. Crap bread, poor in general. The friend I'm eating with just said "this the most I underwhelming rendition of a cheesesteak I've ever had" Skimpy onion rings too. Disappointing

We love going on new food-porn adventures in Boulder. The Fat Shack is another unique eatery on "The Hill" and has it's own unique fun character. This is NOT a 'family' restaurant - the music is very uncensored and graphic and would definitely spark interesting dinner convo with the tots - LOL. The food was great, the prices fair, and the staff quick, friendly, and fun. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last.

Hi, I'm from Texas, this Fat Shack is damn good! Special Lunch were so good! The Hispanic guy were rocks friendly! And helped us to clean table due COVID, highly recommended! I definitely come back again.

Yummy food, friendly staff, fair prices. Good nosh, and less pricey than other (more foodie) places in the neighborhood. Overall, really enjoyed stopping in here and will likely be back.

    The deep-fried oreos are AMAZING

The guys working were slammed but still so patient & hardworking, they got our order out very quickly & with no mistakes. The onions rings could have been a bit crispier & I wouldn't say this was the best burger I've ever had in my life, but the cute little divey diner vibe, creative burger toppings & affordable prices made up for it! It is a rare find in Colorado! Snarfburger had four guys working between the counter and the grill and they were busy on a Sunday. There were six seats inside and about six picnic tables outside. The menu is posted on the wall, offering customizable burgers, five speciality burgers (all double patties) like the Bacon Guac (with hot sauce), The Hatch (hot peppers), Hot Island (hot peppers and 1,000 island), Spicy A1 (hot peppers & A1), and Triple B (grilled onions, bacon, bbq, and the burger). They also offer veggie burgers and gluten free buns, hot dogs, a chicken sandwich, fried bologna, BLT, grilled cheese, and milk shakes. The French fries, onion rings and tater tots came out of the fryer hot, crispy and perfect. The Hatch was flavorful and beefy, wonderfully messy with a nice balance of different spice from the hot sauce, pepper jack, the hot peppers and the green chilies. The regular snarfburger with cheese was a single well-done patty. Note: add avocado or sauce and request a thick slice of tomato because without it, it was dry like a low-fat 90/10 beef and not 80/20. Service was fast and great. Malted strawberry milkshake was thick as a brick and great. Atmosphere was great. I think I saw them feed a guy who needed a meal and I appreciate what an asset they are to our community.

We ordered couple different drinks and shared a jalapeño cornbread skillet as a snack. My Spa Day (a elderflower flavored gin based cocktail) was delicious, refreshing and not too sweet. The tiny flower garnish added a nice touch. The cornbread was decent (3/5). It was moist, but fell apart easily and difficult to take out of the skillet. It also tasted like it's from a pre-made mix. Overall a nice spot to hang out in the Pearl St. area. Maybe I'll try some other food here too.

The Philly was super greasy and the cheese was on the side. There was so much gristle and fat it was hard to eat. The bun was also super crunchy instead of crispy and light. The chicken was also terrible. It was a little thinly sliced chicken breast, that maybe got pounded out too thin and then fried. It needed a lot more seasoning- the sweet pickle slices were also contrasting to the honey mustard- it just left a literal bad taste in my mouth- lastly, the fries I recieved were soft, cold, and unsalted. We were only in CO for a week and this was the worst thing we ate.

I mean a post-hike burger loaded with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and cheddar cheese - what could possibly be better. Nothing, absolutely nothing. ++ There's a variety of ways to further customize your meal, whether it be adding toppings, sauces, or swapping out the grass-fed beef patty for a chicken or veggie patty. ++ Did I mention they offer up some additional specials to add a little something different from time to time? Love that! ++ They needed to whip up more of their chipotle mayo, so I was already planning on foregoing sampling it with my meal when the server brought out a cup for us. YUM! It was just what my sweet potato fries needed. -- The only drawback we experienced was brief uncertainty over whether they were actually going to be open during our visit. Sounds like the hours may fluctuate a bit from day to day. Not what our grumbling bellies were wanting to hear. So glad that ended up not being the case. The Mighty Burger definitely checked my burger-craving boxes. I'll gladly make my way back when in Boulder.
