We were seated on time, and our order was taken promptly, but then we sat for an eternity. I eventually had to get up and ask the bartender to help me carry our drinks to the table because they had been sitting on the bar counter ignored. As time passed, our food never arrived. We went to the bar again to order a second drink and asked them to charge it to our table. I am still not certain there were restaurant managers, but we finally cornered a man who looked in charge and he turned out to be the HVAC manager; to his credit, he actually listened and tried to help. When our food finally arrived, multiple items were wrong, but we were too hungry and annoyed to care. Neighborhood restaurants thrive because families can enjoy them regularly, not just on special occasions. At these prices, plus paying extra for sides and then seeing an unexpected kitchen surcharge on the bill, it's hard to imagine coming back often.
