    Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Always enjoy the food here and the people working there seem happy. Service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is warm, comfortable. Recommend beets and sweets, Brussels sprouts, roasted vegetable bowl, post salad, family love, and of course any fried chicken. Always a treat to eat here.

The snap pea side is the best thing I've eaten all week! When the sides are excellent you know the entrees will be top notch, and they were. We were given complimentary donut holes for a starter, can't beat that. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Dining area and bar are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Upscale, trendy atmosphere that's family friendly. We will return.

    Four piece fried chicken dinner.

Triple D rates this place in the top 10 in the country for Fried Chicken, so we had to give it a try. Reservations are recommended because by 5:30 pm on Sunday they were almost full. Service was fast and easy, server was pleasant too. I notice they helped each other the entire time we were there. It brews its own beers so we each had a drink, both were good pours in great glasses. Ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts for app, it's large enough for two or three people. Roasted just right, balsamic with cojita cheese sprinkled on top. Very good flavor. I ordered the four piece fried chicken dinner that comes with one side, a cheddar biscuit, and some excellent house made dill Pickles. The chicken was superb; very crispy but did not taste or smell near burnt as many do. They brine their bird for a minimum of four hours and you could taste the result in every bite. It's not often you can "taste" the chicken all the way to the bone. Was it crispy? The crispiest of the three top ten places I've tried to date. The flavor of the meat sends it to the top. My wife had the 3 piece tenders which were almost a half a breast each in size. Not quite as crisp as the chicken but still had a crisp bite and great breading and chicken flavor. Her French fries were average but she said My biscuit was great since I did not even get a bite of it. Large pieces of chicken is the rule. My side was hatch green chili Mac & Cheese. It was good but not at the level of the bird. The decor was confusing, nothing in the place said chicken but other than that, well done Post: great food, great service, and a very clean restaurant.

I'm happy with the meal I had at The Post. The roast chicken was juicy and the arugula salad was good. I sat at the bar and was served in a timely fashion. A customer ordering to-go decided to try my roast chicken dinner. He was satisfied. Seems like I got his attention. The place has a rustic theme. It is a good spot to hang out after a hard day.

Solid stop for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Gorgeous fall day and we sat out on the patio. Salads were solid - great variety and really interesting and tasty ingredient combinations. Beer selection is great and we enjoyed sipping them outside. Friendly staff, although we had a server and her manager both tending to us, which was a little odd....and it was a little uncomfortable when the manager asked (me and my husband) if we wanted separate checks. Um, very strange.

This is the half of my shrimp and grits I could not finish. The leftovers were delicious tonight!

I had shrimp and grits today at The Post. I lived in the Southern US for 12 years and I really miss genuine southern cuisine. The shrimp and grits here are full of authentic New Orleans flavor and spice. The shrimp were succulent and abundant and the creole gravy/sauce completed the flavor in a marvelous way. The service was fast and friendly and we dined outdoors in a shaded and comforable setting. The restaurant was busy at the noon hour but it was not noisy or so hectic that you couldn't enjoy the meal.

This was a different location in Longmont. Unfortunately the fried chicken was overcooked on the outside.

By my favorite item would have to be the cheddar biscuits. They were light and fluffy but still dense enough to hold flavor and not crumble. We ordered the family meal with eight pieces of chicken, two sides, and four biscuits. I was especially excited for the fried chicken since it's supposed to be their thing, but it came out super overcooked and dry. The breading wasn't crispy at all, just soggy. It tasted like the oil wasn't hot enough and the chicken spent way too long taking a bath in it. The biscuits were good, the coleslaw was actually excellent, and the fries were just... fries. My sister ordered her burger medium, but it came out raw, which definitely didn't help. We had lunch at Stanley last summer and the food was fantastic. If you're heading that way, I'd honestly recommend driving the extra block and eating inside the hotel instead. My parents also ate here last year and said the quality has dropped quite a bit. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but based on this visit, I don't think we'll be back.

You place your order at one of the kiosks, then just watch the pickup screen until your order is ready. The whole process is quick, simple, and efficient. I ordered the seasonal Thai Chicken Wrap with fries, and honestly, it's one of the best wraps I've had in a while. The crispy chicken tenders, Asian herb mix, crispy shallots, and green papaya dressing all had their own distinct flavors, but together they created a wrap that was incredibly balanced and satisfying. It felt like every ingredient was thoughtfully seasoned and intentionally paired. The biggest compliment I can give? I loved it so much that I went back a second time the same week. Was immediately impressed by the staff. Greeted right away and they fully explained which food was safe and which ones to avoid. Also explained their precautions and overall process which was great. The place was very clean and looked well taken care of. The food itself was pretty great, given what they're trying to do without using flour. Texture was pretty spot on, but really the flavors are what got me. We tried both the plain and Nashville hot, and both were good. Tried 4 of their available sauces and everyone in the family agreed they were solid. The fries and most sides are also free from cross contamination so it was nice having a full meal where nothing was compromised or risky. Also appreciated the variety of lemonades and local sodas over the traditional coke/pepsi fountains most places offer. I won't say this fried chicken is a perfect one for one from my gluten eating days, but they've done a wonderful job of getting pretty close. The flavors and sauces get the experience pretty close in my opinion. Even my kids said they'd choose this over other "normal" fried chicken places. So if you're someone who avoids gluten and are craving some fried chicken, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

The sound and the joy gave off such a great vibe immediately when walking into this establishment. This review is based on a sit down dinner and a take out on another night because our sit down was so good! Here's all that we tried: POST CHEDDAR BISCUITS - hot and cheesy - these were not as flakey as they looked like they were going to be. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS - sweet and spicy peppers, garlic mojo, cotija cheese | *a portion of sales from this item go to Zero Foodprint -- an org working to combat climate change in the food & beverage industry - these were good, great crispiness, char was flavorful and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Subsequently, I made a hash for breakfast with leftovers from here and these proved to be GOOD flavoring. GREEN CHILE BISON SAUSAGE BOARD (LAFAYETTE) - Rock river bison sausages, hard boiled eggs, dill pickles, bread and butter pickle relish, baked baguette, peach honey mustard - I'm a sucker for charcuterie, the bison sausage was so delicious, I ordered another after we finished the first. This also went into the next day hash! FRIED HALF CHICKEN - our famous gluten free fried chicken, choice of side, pickles, and a biscuit - ordered this on or second visit (takeout night) and did not regret a thing. It was fantastically fried to crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy and tasted like they brined it in pickle juice. CHICKEN TENDERS - all natural tenders, breaded and fried, served with ranch - good chicken, also went into the hash. OG POST BURGER*- american cheese, bacon onion jam, special sauce, griddled sourdough english muffin & fries - good burger, personally, I'd appreciate better cheese! QUINOA & KALE - quinoa, kale, arugula, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, toasted sesame and sunflower crunch, lemon tahini dressing - the dressing MADE this salad, good job Chef! PUEBLO GREEN CHILE MAC & CHEESE - nothing spectacular, I would have liked this with more green chile and a better cheese base.
