Food was okay. I ordered the famous shrimp and grits which was very creamy and delicious. My wife ordered the egg sardou and it was good but not great. The artichoke tasted like it was from a can. We both ordered chocolate milk which was really good because they make it themselves with chocolate syrup. Service was good as expected. Stopped in after church and the place was packed, hostess said 15-20 minutes so we gave our number and went for a walk. Came past at 15 and when we checked in the table was ready. Great service, coffee came fast and placed our orders. We both had great meals mine just sauage and eggs but Karen had the Spinach Florentine and said it was incredible. Don't miss having breakfast or lunch at Fat Spoon in Ocean Springs!! We went at lunch time but you can get breakfast anytime. The staff were so friendly. Immediately Krystal took our order and the food arrived in minutes. I had chicken salad and fries which were delicious. Krystal was so attentive to our needs. The biggest surprise was the coconut lime margarita which is the best cocktail I have ever had!!! The bartender was so kind she shared how she makes it. This is a really cute restaurant. We ordered the eggs sardou, bacon barbecue burger, and fried green beans. It was all delicious. The eggs were amazing. The burger was a good burger. The green beans were fantastic as well. The only issue was the service. The waitress was very good, but appeared to have a section that was too large. My husband sat with an empty glass for a long time and it took until I was halfway through my meal to get butter. We watched the server run all over the place doing her job with grace, but being so busy she was unable give each table needed attention. read more

This is a great restaurant, you won't be disappointed. I had the Cuban no pickles, horseradish in place of mustard. They were happy to accommodate my changes. The sandwich was very good and fresh. Both French fries and sweet potato fries were hot and delicious. Prices were comparable to other restaurantskk. Service was friendly, fast, and pleasant. The room was full of customers, some eating what looked like great breakfast meals. Others were enjoying Rubens, po-boys, and burgers along with other lunch items.
