We had been walking in the area earlier that day and made a plan to come back for dinner. When we arrived there were a lot of people but we were seated immediately. Martin was our waiter and he was great. There were a few large screen TVs playing sports. There was live music. A lot was going on but it really worked. People were enjoying themselves and the wait staff was friendly and talkative. I ordered shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the mole. He always orders mole. The meals were very good. We ordered a mango margarita and Tecate. The margarita came with a tehine rim. I just wiped it off. That is becoming so popular. I decided to indulge in the banana dessert and I am glad I did. It came with a show. That was fun and the dessert was delicious. We were there earlier in the evening and we saw many couples and families. I'm sure the place gets a little more livelier as the night goes on. If you are in the area, this is a good place to eat and enjoy your time in Cancun.

I wouldn't go for the food here unless you need something to counter all the tequila. This place isn't known for the cuisine, just the booze. The best feature of this bar is the location. Salsas were both quite good, especially the Verde. The spice and citrus/sour touch was really well executed. Chips are standard thick ones, nothing special. The octopus tacos are out of this world, tho. Octopus is one of my favorites. It's not easy to do well, but when it's good it's REALLY good. This is probably the 2nd best octopus I've had in my 46yrs. Well seasoned, tender, and with the right amount of chew. They also only used 1 tortilla to wrap tacos, which is how I usually end up eating them. Guacamole in the top 5, too. I've never even considered a place this good in a mall/shopping center. Definitely recommend.

I was craving veggies, and an American chain restaurant seemed like a good place to get them in Mexico. My dish, the Cowboy chicken, was great. It came with steamed veggies (just ok. They were probably frozen), grilled corn on the cob (really good) and an incredibly juicy, moist chicken breast topped with American & Swiss cheese, bbq sauce & bacon. Yum!

Even the bartender made me something special, but it was too sweet for me. This place has live music and fun stuff going on throughout the night. I got to dance a bit of salsa, which was pretty fun. There were these masked men doing a little dance on stage and then pouring shots in your mouth afterwards. Someone was also celebrating a birthday, so they made him go on stage and then sprayed whipped cream all over his face and head. Poor guy, I wouldn't want this to happen to me on my birthday LOL.

They were pretty dead, so we thought our service would be quick. It wasn't. We were sat at a dirty table with sticky/mildew-smelling menus. I wanted to leave, but my fiancé wanted to give them a chance. I cleaned the table myself. The server came to take our order & it eventually came out as requested. I ordered chicken strips thinking it was a meal that couldn't be messed up. They had no taste at all. None! My fiancé loved his burger and ate his fries and mine. The chicken went to waste, unfortunately. All in all, it's an ok place to try if you're looking for American food. I just didn't enjoy my experience. When we left the restaurant and walked towards the street near the ice cream shop, the photographer from this restaurant ran after us and asked us to buy our photos. She was so far away from the restaurant & I was shocked that she followed us just to make that sale. My fiancé felt sorry for her and bought a photo and let her keep the change. "Swiss Chicken Enchiladas" for the main course was not what you get at a local Mexican joint -- Four tortillas stuffed with chicken, bathed in a creamy tomatillo sauce with melted cheese and a base of refried black beans. Porfirio's Potatoes -- French fries with chipotle pepper aioli, parmesan cheese and parsley. I dream of Marrow everyday. This is a 10/10 Yellow fin Tosatadas - Superb!!! One of the best tostadas I have ever had. This dish is heaven sent with a 9.8/10 Grilled Octopus - Grilled perfectly, I can tell by the texture. The mash is superb, they used margarine instead of butter and I absolutely love the contrast from the traditional mash. 9.8/10 Mexican Rice - Its pretty good. It does have a nice seafoodish finish. The pepper was actually spicy. Nice and pleasant rice dish. 8/10 Charred Avocado Salad - Grilled avocado is a bit of a wash. It did make it look good on the plate. The dressing is a little weak.
