I had the impossible burger with an added egg and onion rings to, and even with all of those extra ingredients I found the burger to be just okay. For a California chain Fatburger surprised me because their buns are huge, so much so that i think it throws the proportion of the burger off; it's simply too much bread. I thought bread was illegal in Cali, no? What i did really like were the fat fries, i could eat a lot of those. I think selling fat and thin fries is a genius idea and every burger place should do that. read more

Overall it wasn't bad ... there was 4ppl on our group and 2 ppl loved it and 2 ppl thought it was "only ok" - it was nice eating adjacent to the cherry hill mall - not as much craziness as the food court. Place was busy but not overcrowded. Food arrived hot and within 5 minutes of ordering it. Burger are large - the fries were skinny and unsalted lacked any taste - disappointing.... there was a nasty green hard as brick tomato in one of our burgers. We didn't like that despite paying over $10 for just a burger - we had to extra for cheese. It's definitely not economical if you have a large family. Fatburger gives me a Shake Shack feel, very similar. We had a taste for burger but not Shake Shack, we was also shopping at the Cherry Hill Mall today and decided to give Fatburger a try. Found Fatburger while dinning at Season 52 last time. As we walk in, a cashier greeted us. I told him to give us a minute and he wasn't pushy. We order three Original Meals, 3 milkshakes, and one order of sweet teriyaki wings, our total was closed to $70. The burgers were a bit too salty for me, maybe next time I will ask for no salt. Fries were good. Wings were juicy but a bit bland, hardly taste the sauce. Milkshakes(Maui Banana and cookies and cream) were very delicious. Will we go back? Above average? ALMOST! We had a variety of the products but the main event was only so- so. The XL burger was more like a sacrifice to a deity rather than a burger. It was way overcooked to the point it was crunchy. It took lots of ketchup to make it palatable. The turkey burger and impossible burger were cooked reasonably. The French fries and sweet potato fries were exceptional. If you don't order the beef burger you will enjoy your meal. Was so excited to see a fat burger coming to SJ and decided to try it for lunch with the wife. First of all, let's talk location, we live closer to Marlton so we have to drive back to get here and as i was telling my wife, to eat here i have to pass zinburger, capital grille, among other good burgers so it better be worth it. It is not inside the mall just attached which i love as i prefer not to walk through a mall to find food. We both ordered an xl burger and tried both skinny fries and sweet potato fries. We also tried their shake too. The meal was solid and worth the price of admission. It is not a wow burger but a solid option and better than a regular fast food option (certainly better than shake shack). The way i would summarize it is it is not a destination foodie trip however if you are in the mall or in the area craving for a burger, this would be a good ***update**** After eating here 3 more times, i would say its a 2 stars. We came here around 2 o'clock on a weekend and it was pretty packed. It took forever to place our order, but we were lucky enough to be able to get a seat. I thought that the burger was really good, and I like their fries. However, we ordered chili cheese fries and they definitely don't put enough chili on the fries. It's a little expensive for what you get, but if you're at the mall, then I would definitely give this place a try. read more

Fatburger is located on the outside of the Cherry Hill Mall outside the entrance closest to the Michael Kors store. We saw an advertisement inside for Fatburger and decided to try it out as it looked amazing. The first thing my wife noticed was the temperature. It seemed uncomfortable and humid in the restaurant. The floor was also extremely slippery. It wasn't wet or anything, but rather the finish chosen for the floor. My chair acted like it was on an ice rink and my daughter almost fell face first off the chair while trying to put her drink back on the table. Thankfully, we caught her. I also slipped on my way back from the beverage machine. We ordered a regular Fatburger, a Thousand Island Fatburger, and a kid's meal. The price came out to $24. The chicken tender kid's meal alone was $8.99. It was the size of an adult meal and the price reflected that as well. The regular Fatburger was $6 and the Thousand Island Fatburger was $7. We were a bit taken back by the prices. The wait time was longer than expected, but the food is made to order. Both our burgers were subpar. My wife said hers was extremely bland and not worth the $6. My burger was all grease and tasted like a pure peppered patty. The burgers were small as well. We both were not full after eating the burgers. We do not plan to come back to Fatburger as it was not the best experience and the quality of the food is not worth the prices they are charging. Went here during lunch time on a Friday. This was our first time trying this out. We were not that amazed with the burgers. I got the western bbq burger which was significantly better than my fiancé's burger. My burger had lots of flavor and was juicy, while his just tasted greasy. Fries were probably the best part - nice and crispy! We didn't find it any special compared to any other burger joint. Not sure if we would return. Our bill was $34 for 2 people and it was just adequate. Also FYI, when we were there, we saw a sign that the women's bathroom door was not locking. read more

Finally a location on the east coast and it's close to where I live just opened up right outside the entrance to the Cherryhill Mall. What better way to get all of my protein intake at one shot. We got to Fatburger for early lunch. I figured I might as well get the XXXL burger because the more meat the better. No frozen burger patties here. I seen them pull in fresh burgers out of a drawer. They cook everything to order. My beef monstrosity came out pretty quickly but it did help that we were the first customers in there. Presentation was very nice, but heaving it up to my gullet provided a challenge. The fresh meat did fall apart pretty quickly. It left me a nice little meat pile to pick up in between bites. It went down easier than I thought. In less than 5 minutes I enjoyed every single morsel of the 1.5 pound burger beast. My wife got a turkey burger which she thoroughly enjoyed. I hate turkey and specially in Burger form. I don't even like the scent of it for it enrages me. So happily I didn't mind that she got a turkey burger here and not in our home. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean and shiny. For me finishing the burger I got a special certificate and they took my picture like I'm an outlaw from the wild wild West. They're just going to slap it up on their wall for all the world to see. Decided to check this place out. This was our first time to a Fattburger, it may well be our last. Food is overpriced, the cook/manager talks to his other co-worker like he's a child, and he TRIED that with me, until I barked back. For the amount of money they charge, service and accuracy should be PARAMOUNT. They are in need of real leadership. They'll letting anyone that BREATHES get on a grill. Decided to try it out. I'm a five guys fan. Heard this was better. Not by a long shot. #1 burger was overcooked falling apart with out touching it. #2. Cheese is separate for a extra charge. As far as taste its ok not bad just a bit dry from being overcooked to the point its crispy on some parts. Had onion rings on the side which were really good. Would I recommend Fat burgers? This was my first time at fat burger and from this experience maybe my last. I came in with my 20 month old grand daughter and ordered a kids meal and meal for me. Order came to 29 something. I gave the employee my debit card and he tapped it in the credit card machine and after about a minute it declined. This puzzled me so he tried it again but this time he inserted the chip but still the same. So i didn't know what was going on so we tried another debit card but the same result. The employee got the manager and after looking confused as to why it was happening, he said the network might be down. I was going to use a credit card but the manager said that he wanted to try a store card first. So he got a store credit card and ran a dollar. This was declined also so he said give him a couple minutes and he would reboot the system and since i already ordered my food was being cooked. So we waited about 5 to 7 minutes then the manager came over and said sorry but the network was still down. But this time my grand daughter and I had been in the store for over 10 minutes. His resolution/suggestion was for me to go in the mall and use an ATM and get cash and come back. Like what? So because your network is down and i waited over 10 minutes, I should go to the ATM and pay a surcharge to get money out. Good customer service would have been to say "sir, I'm sorry the network is down but you've been here for awhile and already ordered and food is being cooked so not to penalize you, please take the food since it's only you and your grand child".. especially since the food was already being prepared. This was not a very good first experience or impression. very displeased. Do yourself a favor and go to Five Guys. This place costs more and quality isn't as good. My double Burger came with a burnt single patty. Our chicken sandwich was ok and milkshake was a little better than average. Fries looked great but were overdone. Combined with the headache of parking at the Cherry Hill Mall this place is a #3, behind Five Guys and Wendy's (Triple) when it comes to local burgers for me. We went here the other day for lunch and it was empty. This surprised me since it's connected to Cherry Hill Mall. Upon looking over the menu we noticed the prices were quite high for a burger joint in our area. Our total order for two people came in just over $30. I ordered a half pound burger with the works and onion rings. Since everything is made-to-order, we had to wait a while for our food. The burger was fine, but not spectacular. The onion rings were crispy and delicious while hot, but as they cooled, they lost the crispiness. Overall, it was fine. However, in a world with tons of burger joints it doesn't stand out as a keeper especially at an escalated price point. read more

Checked out Fatburger at the cherry hill mall. It's right next to Bahamas Breeze in case you need help finding it. I went at 12 and expected it to be packed for lunch thank goodness it wasn't. The people that worked there were so welcoming and nice. I ordered an original Fatburger, chili cheese fries and a medium drink. My total came out to 17$ which is not what I normally spend on lunch but I felt like treating myself. The food took longer than expected to come out but everything was delicious once I got it! It took me some time to find the restaurant because I was saw an advertisement that made me think it was in the mall. I was able to find it after looking it up. The inside is new and clean, and their signage is very simple and modern. As the location is not confirmed halal, I tried their non-meat burgers. The veggie burger, despite being a Boca burger, is much better than what I'm really able to make at home. And their Impossible burger is so good that you don't really miss meat when you eat it. It's not a meat substitute, but it is a great alternative. The food was a real pleasant treat. But I couldn't afford to eat there more than every so often. I probably spent the most on a fast food burger here than I have anywhere else. read more

After all three persons behind counter picked my burger up to examine it they put 1 slice in 2 on burger & returned it to me. This place will not last, they better hope that a smash burger doesn't come to town or else they are over. Not surprised that its empty in this place. If I could give zero stars, I would. The presence of the young man at the cash register was unprofessional. Having AirPods in their ears while taking orders. Not very welcoming. The manager and staff appeared very belligerent, not wanting to be there. For TWO cheeseburgers (which were bland, tasteless), two French fries, six count of wings, two medium drinks, which the total cost was $48.00. LIKE HOLY CRAP. Honestly Go to Wendy's for burgers. Short version: I don't see this place surviving with Five Guys (cheaper and superior-in both burgers and fries), Shake shack (coming soon), Red Robin, and Zinburger all within a two or so mile radius. Normal size burger with chili and cheese: meat had little to no flavor, and the chili didn't contribute anything. Turkey burger was the most seasoned thing we got. Onion ring was fine on a burger, but by itself would be not great. Fat fries were better than skinny, both were kind of bland. The staff were friendly enough and everything was clean. Literally drove an hour - was so excited to try this place via recent you tuber "Daym Drops," claiming it the "King" of the burger game. The staff was so terrible, it crushed the experience. The girl at the counter just blank stares at you and smirks, when your trying just to give your order. The over all burger was very good, minus the condiments- the ketchup and 1000 island dressing tasted off. If you are looking for customer service I would give it a D- . Spent 45.00 for bad service if I had used cash instead of my card I would have asked for a refund and left . I went on a weekday at 12:15 and the the place was 100% empty. There was only one employee working, and she took my order and then cooked my food... It was a really weird. It's not bad, but it's very overpriced for what you get. The smallest burger combo is $15 which is crazy when you have 5 guys that beat them on quality. I was too excited to find that there was a Fatburger here on the east coast. I've only ever been to the Las Vegas location where I initially fell in love with their burgers. At the Cherry Hill location I ordered a couple of burgers and a couple orders of fries. I wasn't asked what type of fries I wanted so I guess I was given what the cashier wanted me to have, which turned out to be the "skinny fries". At this point I no longer wanted to speak due to every word I said the cashier would respond with a "HUH?" Because of COVID we had to wait outside for our food, which wasn't a problem. In the meantime 2 more customers entered and ordered, came out to wait and were visibly disturbed by the service received. They went back in and asked for a refund because the cook was texting on her phone and was not paying attention to them. These are young kids working here at this time and clearly did not have any customer service training. Once our food was brought to us 25 mins later, the young man came out to hand us our food and his black jeans had flour all over them, shirt wrinkled, no eye contact and he looked as if he'd rather be sleeping. The service was so bad that I don't even remember what the burger tasted like. Its very important for businesses to know that customer service can and will make or break them. Please keep the Fatburger name Epic and get your staff together because being the only one on the East Coast you should want to live up to higher standards especially to those of us that know what a true Fatburger is. read more
