This location is inside the Sunset Station, Casino and Hotel. The location is easy since it is right next to the movie theater so it's a great place to get something to eat before seeing a movie or after the movie. They are open late so that is helpful too. The place is usually clean and it is really well lit. They did a recent renovation and It looks good. My go to order is a large fat burger and chili cheese fries. They also have vegan milkshakes so that's an option if you're into that. Service is usually consistent but they are a fast food joint so don't expect white tablecloth service. They do cook to order, so also do not expect to be the food to be done right away. You might have to wait five or 10 minutes. Overall good place usually good. read more

My how the mighty have fallen. :( For many years I have considered Fatburger to be a place where you can get a great burger. (Top 5 at least) The burger patties are just outstanding. I know that Fatburger is considered by many to be fast food but I always thought it fit better as fast-casual because the quality of the food was great, I never used to see any locations with drive thrus, they take a long time to make a burger, and they were priced like a fast-casual restaurant. In other words I have been a Fatburger defender for decades. Sadly the Fatburger experience has gone way down. Switching from Coke products to Pepsi products if a BAD move. I don't have a problem drinking Pepsi, but Coke is way better, especially with salty foods. The prices have gone from really expensive to completely ridiculous. My burger (with chili & bacon) with their smallest drink and a French fry, cost me just under $28! For that price, I can go to Olive Garden and get several bowls of soup, unlimited breadsticks, and a massive plate of pasta that leaves me with enough leftovers for a second meal! AND in that scenario I am being waited on, AND that $28 covers an 18% tip! Fatburger is great but $28 doesn't make sense. You would expect that with these overpriced burgers, the employees would be happy to make you a good burger. Now, I don't know if this is some stupid Fatburger corporate rule or if the workers at this location are just making stuff up, but this Fatburger will NOT put a fried egg on your burger unless it is a (well done) "over hard" kind of egg. That means that they will put a severely over cooked fried egg on your burger, but under no circumstances will they cook it sunny side up, over easy, or even over medium. (the way God intended) Again, if this is a Fatburger policy, I don't want to blame the workers. So.....I can't even remember the last time I've gone to a Fatburger restaurant...or have I? If I had, it had to be back when I use to live in Southern Cali during my adolescent years which would have been many, many moons ago. This particular establishment is situated inside the Sunset Casino & Hotel, across from the Regal Cinema and Subway sandwich shop. I ordered the original fatburger combo with cheese that included fat fries and a large soda. I also ordered an Oreo cookie shake for the wife. The price tag for this order rang in at the affordable price of....(wait for it) just over $26? The combo was over $15, tack on the slice of American cheese on the burger, that added another $1.35. The shake was about $7. Of course, I saw this going in that this wasn't to be a cheap snack to begin with but had to see what the hype was all about and the fact whether or not it lived up to it. Overall, I thought the experience was...good, not great, but good. When I ordered, I requested to have the meal served there at the restaurant. However, when my name was called, I was handed a small paper bag with my food in it. The server apologized for the wait. Fair enough, no biggie, especially after seeing the rest of the patrons getting their food were also in paper bags in varying sizes as well. All I can say is I wish they would have put in a few packets of ketchup for my fries. I did go back to make an attempt to retrieve some but was unable to make any eye contact with anybody during the late night buzz. Question is....why isn't ketchup readily accessible? The steak fries were good. I mean, who doesn't love a good steak fry, right? Most likely the biggest winner here. However, the burger was lackluster for me, though. I thought the burger was a bit overcooked, the cheese was barely melted, and the bun was old. Whatever juices this burger may have had (if any) and the amount of 1000 Island sauce they put on got instantly soaked up into the bun to the point the sandwich just fell apart half way in. It was a dry but messy affair and quite unmemorable. I mean, I get it. It's the name, it's cooked to order, the burger patty is fresh and decent sized, etc, etc. Maybe this was a "one-off"? At the end of the day, for me, there is very little margin for error when it comes to the quality, presentation, and service. Went on a fun movie date night with my 5 year old this week. We had a quick bite at this restaurant before our movie. Thankfully they had hot dogs for the kids. The staff was friendly enough. the only issue I have with this place is the price, it was $32 for two people for two hamburgers and two fries and two small drinks. The Fatburger is located in the food court of Sunset Stations. There are seating areas where you can enjoy your food. It's somewhat quiet and out of the casino feeling. You can tell the burgers are real meat and hand pressed because they have signs explaining their process Also, when you get your burger it looks hand made. My husband saw a piece fall off and said it looked homemade-he came in without looking around. So we were all impressed with the appearance. The flavor of the Fatburger is good and this is a better Fatburger than others around town. Good management makes a restaurant. The employee was a bit snippy (my son had not seen her before). My husband asked about the condiments that came on the burger and she just pointed. But otherwise a pretty good. The steak fries were thick with a crispy outside and a soft potatoey (fun word) inside. They were hot out of the fryer and had a good flavor too.
