I used to go to the one in Tempe when I lived over there so I was excited that Phoenix was getting a Fate.. literally seven minutes from my house. They have an amazing Caesar. Their corn fritters are out of this world and some amazing chicken sandwiches. Called in and ordered to go, the girl on the phone was so pleasant, answered my questions, and even catered to my allergies. When I entered, there was a manager there that opened the door for me, but didn't say anything. It a weirdo vibe. He then proceeded to watch me interact at the host stand while picking up my order. I asked the girl who had taken my order and been so helpful if she would receive the tip because she gave me great service and I wanted to make sure that if she wasn't gonna get the card tip I could tip her cash. On my way out, the weirdo manager scolded the hostesses for answering my question. It was strange to say the least. He shouldn't have done that to them in general.. but especially out infront of everyone.. I honestly felt bad for the hostesses. I thought it was weird he was talking to these young girls like that... I hope his boss sees this- the customer service those girls gave was immaculate. He didn't even speak one word to me and then scolded them for their interaction with me. Very disappointing super weird. read more

I had lunch at Fate Brewing company today with my best friend. I no longer drink beer but I had a taste of one of Pilsner style beers. Delicious! The pretzel was great and the beer cheese dip and spicy mustard! Yum. We also had the buffalo wings. These must be from the d cup chickens because these were huge. Also, split a Mahi salad. Amazing. Took home most of the wings and the crème brûlée cheesecake for himself. He loved it. My friend and I always order lots of things to determine if the is a place to which we want to return. I am always so impressed with this wonderful restaurant! I'm actually a regular here and I always get the same things: tropical stout, honey barley ale, and chicken tenders with jalapeño dipping sauce to die for (I always ask for two jalapeño dipping sauce because it's just so good!). I literally go by myself and read books so my favorite spot is on the other side of the open windows that show the brewing canisters because it provides the best lighting. The service is unmatched! I've had the privileged of being served by Emry, Sebri and Stacey who are all fantastic ladies that make you feel at home. They are attentive and kind. Regularly checking in and making sure I was taken care of. Maybe I come in too many times LOL because Emry knows my order like the back of her hand and all my preferences ( I start with a beer by itself first and enjoy reading my book and then after a little time get the tenders). The attention to detail, care, high quality food (the tenders are always juicy and crisp), the beer (can I take a keg home of the tropical stout to go please it's so delicious) just makes this place a true gem in the heart of Phoenix and a true dining extraordinaire. Always love coming to this location for lunch. Of the locations throughout the valley, this one is especially welcoming and friendly. The staff are very kind and approachable. The food is awesome and you can expect to be served fairly quickly most days. This is also a great place for a work dinner, happy hour drinks or even a small family gathering. I wish I could give this place zero stars. having driven by multiple times over the past couples months, my friend and I weee excited to try this place out. Literally just stopped in and within 5 minutes two couples who arrived after us were served water and immediately helped while we were ignored by the bar staff. While I'm not one to play the race card, it was awfully suspicious that we were browner than the two couples that came before us. We chose to walk out since we were not being helped, so if you're not tan you may get good service, however I can't vouch since we were flat out ignored by the entire bar staff. read more

We had a fabulous time at Fate Brewery, Phoenix, last night! Our server, Sandy, was very nice and encouraged us to sample different beers and to stay as long as we wanted. The beers were excellent and the food was delicious! But, the reason why I'm leaving this positive review is the general manager, Dave Walker, who took the time to talk to us, offer up samples of their new and sublime lavender beer that Sandy had told us about, then gifted us with the absolute best cheesecake, crème brûlée style, that I have ever tasted, complete with a dollop of rich and creamy special whipped cream . I have been going to Fate Brewing ever since they opened their first location in N Scottsdale years ago (since closed) and still enjoy their location in S Scottsdale. It has been my favorite beer in the valley all this time. So, when I realized they were opening a Fate in my neighborhood I was ecstatic! The new Fate on 7th St is a beautiful modern/minimalistic building with a nice variety of seating, games, well-crafted beers, delicious food, and very friendly staff. Stopped in for a weekday lunch and had the teriyaki wings which were very good. The service was outstanding. I'm typically not a desert person, but our server sold us on the key lime pie. We came here last night, and the food and beer were delicious. It was my first time having a hatch chili beer, and it was pretty awesome. We also ordered the stacked nachos, the cheesy jalapeno cornbread fritters, and the slow-cooked bbq ribs. It was all very tasty, and the ambience and service were great too!
