This location is fairly new. I came in for an event, but before that I met a friend for happy hour. I will definitely be back for HH. The food menu had great deals at $3, 6, and 9 dollar price points. I ordered the short rib quesadillas for $6, tasty and a deal! The HH cocktails are $9 and they are any drink on the regular menu, just made with well spirits instead of the liquor of the regular priced drink, but it's like half off in some instances so again, great deal. We sat at the front bar near the entrance, the bartender was attentive and quick as she hustled around a fairly full bar around 5:30pm. The ambiance of this location is swanky and new. Dark toned LED lighting, dark walls, bright STK signs illuminating the place. It works well. They will validate for 2 hours in the collier center underground parking garage. I live right upstairs and have been watching them build this STK for months. Finally!... it's opened. The staff is amazing - Emily, Richie, DeShane... the entire crew of folks are lovely. I normally give long winded reviews, but I've been here about 50 eleven times since they opened, so I'll let that speak for itself. Super sexy, classic STK decor. A lover of all the STKs in New Yawk as a native New Yawkuh, this location stands up beautifully. I'm so lucky to be so close to such an amazing experience. I almost forget to mention, it's so nice to step in here during their happy hour and enjoy their special menu (a must try); and to my surprise, while my family was here visiting, they had a special July 4 menu and also a soccer menu which was amazing! I love the opportunities to eat high level or just have a snack and a few cocktails. It's so nice having the options. Not to mention, the private dining room in the back that has a bowling alley set up. I don't want to ruin all the surprises, lol. So excited STK opened in downtown Phx. There's also a location in Scottsdale but this is perfect for downtown because we host so many sports events, concerts and business conferences. This is a great new spot for hosting events and happy hours. They have some of the best espresso martinis in the valley. I'm also a fan of their chicken bites and tuna tartare tacos. Honestly stk is a well known chain and i usually support local businesses but the staff were so kind. I seriously will be back because thank you Margaret, Anya and Kris for the hospitality from checking in with the hostess, to ordering cocktails. You all made this a special day! read more

The sliders pair very well with their sauce options and are the perfect size to get you started. Came in on a weeknight as a treat. The ambiance was great besides the TV screens by my table. Service was alright, I went with the filet mignon and a few toppings which was recommended by my server. Manager approached me to correct my order, and the vibe with my server and manager who kept coming by was way off after that, not sure what happened there. The food was just way too salty, as somebody who likes to add salt at restaurants. The salt pretty much overpowered whatever flavor the steak would have had. I strongly advise against not getting the peppercorn topping on the steaks. The creamed spinach side was super salty as well. The total came out to ~$130 before tip. As a downtown Phoenix local, I was so excited to finally try STK, but unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. We came in for a Father's Day lunch with a 3:00 PM reservation, and every meal at the table missed the mark. My daughter's burger was cooked well done despite not being ordered that way, and it was so overcooked she practically had to saw through it with a knife. She also asked for ketchup with her fries which never arrived. I ordered the scallop aguachile, and the scallops tasted fishy while the accompanying chips were stale. My father ordered the short rib and said the experience was so bad it made him want to stop ordering short ribs at restaurants altogether. For a restaurant with STK's reputation and pricing, we expected much better food quality and execution. The crowd was also dressed in basketball shorts and hats which turned the vibe into a very casual one. There are too many excellent steakhouses in the area to justify giving this another chance. We will be sticking with the other great options downtown going forward. read more

Why would anyone ever choose to go to this place? Even if I couldn't get into Durants or Cleaverman, I'd go to Wren & Wolf or Blanco over this place. Overpriced chain steakhouse with a design that might have been cool in the early 2000s. Feels dated now, nothing special on the menu. Came on an event night (because the other places were booked up), should have been a red flag that they still had availability. Short staffed and not prepared. Even if they were, the food was underwhelming. To spend $400 on two people with terrible service and mediocre food is a shame. The only positive thing I have to say is it is slightly better than the Old Town location. Not saying much. read more

We've been here four times now. Our first visit was great, which is why we kept coming back. Unfortunately, the last three visits haven't lived up to that initial experience. The good: Happy Hour is definitely worth it, especially paired with the $49.99 special that seems to be available only on the website. The bread with the blue cheese butter is absolutely delightful. If you're ordering from the Happy Hour menu, the tots and a burger are probably the best bang for your buck. The bad: Service has consistently felt lackadaisical and inattentive during our last three visits. Drinks took longer than expected, and we often found ourselves trying to get someone's attention. It also didn't seem like the manager on duty was actively working the dining room or checking in on guests to make sure everything was running smoothly. The food has also been inconsistent. While our first visit was excellent, the last three have been disappointing. Most of the dishes were bland, and the steak was so salty that it overpowered everything else. At this point, it's hard to justify paying full menu prices. We'll probably still stop by for Happy Hour because it's a solid value, but we hope the restaurant can get back to the quality and service we experienced on our first visit. read more

From the hostess to the server everyone was very friendly. Our server especially was kind . I want to discuss the drinks . I ordered a cosmopolitan and I have to say it was the worse drink I've had in a very long time. Nothing special about it just voldka and whatever else they throw in . My husband had a espresso martini and it was ok. The food was basic happy hour and ok. I did have the oysters and those were amazing. For a few plate items from happy hour and two drinks our bill was $100.00 which in my option was not worth it. Maybe is my cosmo had tasted bettter but that really made the whole experience a sour one. Tried STK for the first time because I had a birthday reward. Sat at the bar, which is half inside, half outside. I sat outside along the outdoor open bar top, which had plenty of cool air from the restaurant. They have a solid happy hour menu that I would return for, but since I had the reward I ordered off the main menu. Steak frites caught the eye, and it was very tasty. Service was great, no notes. More expensive than it needs to be. What's up with the loud club music at dinner? Very unfitting for a high priced, seemingly classic dinner location. The ambiance is beautiful, and my lamb dinner was delicious. But honestly couldn't enjoy it with my husband due to the loud music. We asked to have it turned down: denied. Our menus were caked with spilled drinks; so sticky and gross. The venue felt similar to the neighboring venue, Tom's Watch Bar. Loud music, and sports screens everywhere. Is this a sports bar or a steakhouse? Pick a lane. For my expensive steak dinner, I think I will stick with the traditional Dominick's or Wren and Wolf, where the dining experience is welcoming, clean, and sophisticated. read more

I had a work event and chose STK based on previous reviews and had great expectations. We were there on August 25th, 2026. This was, quite possibly, the worst dining experience I've had in the last 5 years. The restaurant was at 40% capacity, maybe. Our drinks, apps, mains and everything else took hours to get. Our server Corbin even joked that they were getting the coffee beans from Columbia to make our drinks. The ribeye, priced at $90, was cooked poorly, cut thin, chewy, not seasoned at all, almost cold and was a total rip off. We were so hungry from waiting so long I reluctantly ate it. The asparagus was overcooked and soft with no seasoning. The brussel sprouts were the only thing worth saying were decent. I will never come here again. Horrible and STK should be ashamed. For all our waiting we were offered free dessert which we turned down because we didn't have 2 more hours to spare. Absolutely terrible. Don't come here. read more

My server was Anya and she was 10/10 AMAZING. She was so warm and friendly from the second she walked up. She suggested the oysters of the week and the steak frites based on me telling her my cravings. Without her I would've been indecisive! I mentioned I wasn't drinking and she offered sparkling water which was a great alternative for me. She was very attentive and funny. I appreciated her knowledge and professionalism.
