Chicken tikka (red) and malai chicken (white) along with garlic naan and amazing rice.

Having been in US for 34 years I am always desiring authentic Indian food. Sadly their is a misconception of Indian food being spicy and rich which has altered the Indian food in America for worst. FATHOM is the real deal, probably the best Indian food we have had in states. Afton is lucky to have this restaurant.

Tandoori Chicken and Murgh Malai Tikka

The service was top tier and the food was amazing. The town of Afton is lucky to have Fathom. Most Indian restaurants rarely have Murgh Malai which is a very authentic dish. The chef if from Goa, India which produces some of the world best cooks. Would 100% return whenever I can

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The chicken tikka masala and saffron chicken were out of this world. The food was made to perfection. If you like curry, the Fathom restaurant will not disappoint. The prices are beyond reasonable. The customer service was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate our servers recommendations. We will be driving down here soon from Jackson just to eat here again.

OUTSTANDING...located in cutest little town, thanks to Yelp, we found this GEM with surprisingly DELICIOUS Indian food options, fresh salads and cold beer served in a frosty cold mug! The butter chicken and crispy garlic naan were SO SO GOOD! Our food came out fast and piping hot...perfect on a cold winters day! Service was truly outstanding!

    Pancit with shrimp, very fresh!

Pancit was very good. Shrimp and veggies were very good and the naan was a nice addition, although it got cold fairly quickly The burgers were quite tender and I highly recommend it!

The 3 stars is for service, the employees are very nice. This place is so overpriced very small dishes. The food was not bad it was blah, bland no flavor.I ordered Chicken Tikka extra spicy it had no flavor, spice. The "veggies was half a slice of tomato and a few cabbage pieces. My hubby ordered Shrimp Viamense it was 4 shrimp on top of saffron. We had water to drink and it was 50$.The place is very clean and decorated cute.Wanted to try a local place,we did.

Trace evidence of the shrimp curry.....

The food was good and the service was friendly. Atmosphere was lacking but ok. Beef Wellington was great!

I just had the worst meal I've had in a long time tonight. I went to Colter's because it was a…read moresteakhouse and I wanted a steak. So I ordered an old-fashioned for a cocktail and it came in a water glass with ice filled to the top, I had to take the ice out of the glass in order to drink it. It was not good. Then I ordered the T-bone steak with the baked potato and the only side veggie available, which was steamed vegetables. The steak was $30. When our plates arrived at the table we could see the steaks were pretty pathetic, really thin, and mine was definitely not a Tbone. I had ordered mine, medium rare and it was well done but more than that, it was so gristly I couldn't even eat it. The baked potato was good, but the vegetables were so full of garlic and so soft and mushy yuck. I would never refer this restaurant to someone who wanted a good steak dinner. I felt bad for our waiter because not only was he the only waiter there, he was the cashier and was also checking people into the hotel .

Had to get the prime rib special, not disappointed. My meal flew out of the kitchen before I could get half way through the salad. And I like my food HOT and this was much appreciated. Portions were unreal. I think the prime rib was on the menu at 14oz, but I'm pretty sure mine was 16-18oz. Veggie side was huge as was the baker and enough to feed two people. Good people and Outstanding Cuisine.

This particular visit, we got there before 5:00pm, so my husband wasn't able to get what he wanted (Chicken Fried Steak isn't served until after 5:00), but that did not dissuade us. We had the Hot Wings appetizer (6 piece) to start. They were delicious and come with either ranch or bleu cheese. We picked ranch and it was perfection. The wings were crispy and the Buffalo sauce brought the perfect heat. I had the Baja Chicken Breast Salad. Mmm mmm mmm! The balance of salad to chicken to dressing (which comes in a small bowl on the side, so you can dress to your liking) brought a whole new level of YUM. Can't go wrong with avocado and crispy tortilla strips! Husband had the Bacon Cheeseburger, and while it was not the CFS he had hoped for, it was good (a bit dry) and the beer-battered French fries made it even better. If you're looking for some top notch food in a tiny town: look no further! You found it!

A really cool and novel breakfast/lunch spot that creatively uses their space on an old school bus…read more Friendly owners, good food. I thought the breakfast burrito was great except it was a little heavy on the potatoes and could have been balanced better with more eggs and less potato. Also their red salsa that was supposed to be the hot one needs a lot more heat, it almost wasn't there at all, but perhaps it's just par for the area. But the real shining star dish from here is the quesabirrias with complimentary consomé, but I think they call it cheesy beef tacos or something like that. Breakfast is only served until 10am, but they do the breakfast burritos until closing at 2pm. Dont skip this great spot!

Such a fun little bus full of food! The owners are very kind and personable and awesome chefs too…read more The food here is tasty and reasonably priced too, which always makes my experience "that much better". I went with a group of family and friends and got to try a bite or two of various items on the menu. The biscuits and gravy had a nice flavor, it was hard to find the them underneath the heaping of gravy that covers the plate, but having too much food shouldn't be a bad thing. The pancakes were delightful and delicious and huge! I got to try the CrossFit Burrito and boy oh boy that was a winner. It was large and in charge, perfect to cut in half and share--and the homemade salsa topped it off perfectly. I also got a bite of Monte Cristo, not my favorite and it was the most expensive item, but it was alright to try. The bus has a fun atmosphere but it's a little squishy--they do have outdoor seating, but that's no fun when it's pouring rain. Overall, fun and fabulous! I recommend making a pit stop here when you can. TIPS & TRICKS: * Bring your appetite or just share! Again, plenty of food and you'll definitely have leftovers. * You can take your meal to go if you don't have time to have an easy, slow breakfast morning.
