Love the convenient location of this spot, great for "hurry up I am hungry" lunch or dinner! This time around ordered the chicken shawarma crunch wrap, rice and bean burrito and a few single falafels. I only ordered the rice and bean burrito because I was concerned sharing the crunch wrap would not be enough for two people but the portions here are generous! I would probably add a protein next time to the wrap as the simple rice and bean left something to be desired. The chicken crunch wrap is now on my list of go to's! The falafels come with a small salad and are large enough for two folks to split or you to enjoy solo which is why they're 2.99 each. Inside they are soft and moist, a little spicy and outside they are crunchy to perfection. We did also get a sort of garlic dip, but not sure which food item that came with but enjoyed dipping the falafels in it. So I come in and everything is all good we order, and I see the total and I think everything is good until the server tipped himself. Usually I tip anyway but it felt sort of rude that he tipped himself. There was nothing wrong with the food at all just the gesture of tipping themselves on a takeout order felt wrong. read more

Last night we hit up this spot to grab a bite to eat, which never been here before, and let me tell you, the Customer Service was exceptional. The food was fantastic, a must try spot. I did have an error in my order, however it was address immediately. I asked for no onions, unfortunately when my food came to my table, I can't remember the guys name, he said right away we apologize, they put onions on your food, but we are making a fresh new plate for you without onions. He said can keep this one on us and your new plate will be out very soon. I told them it is completely ok, you don't have to make a new plate and I can pick off the onions, it's not a big deal. He said, we made the mistake and we want to correct it, we want to make sure you get what you order from us. I said I'm, thank you. The new plate came out right away and they apologized again. This is customer service at top tier. They immediately acknowledge the mistake and corrected it right away giving me two orders of food for the price of one. They could've kept the wrong food and not brought out to me, but they did and I was able to bless others with this amazing food. I've been following this place on Instagram for several months an was excited to see that they opened up a location in long beach. To my dismay, the videos might only reflect the original Downey location. I just wanted to sample a few things as Flacco's Tacos had a pop-up around the corner from here. The falafel a la carte are $3+change each, and are pretty tiny. I ordered a beef shwarma taco, chicken and carne asada taco as well. the meats are all pre-cooked and over-seasoned. the shwarma was overwhelmingly over-seasoned. for value for the money, I give this place a 1 star. While waiting for my food, one of the employees used the restroom. not a deal breaker, because if you gotta go, you gotta go! I noticed that her hands were dry on th the way out.I used the restroom immediately afterward,and saw that there were no napkins or paper towels, so she clearly didn't wash her hands. yuck. the salsas that were given were exploding. I think the health department really needs to look into this place. read more

Wandered in here to check put the menu. One of the owners, Tony was so friendly and enthusiastic that it made me want to stay and try it out. He recommended the birria taco platter. 3 tacos in hard shells. Think Jack in the Box tacos, but with much better quality meat, and I loved the cheese and radish. The consomme was SO good. Inhaled the 3 tacos and I was full but the broth was so good, I threw the rice in it and ate it like a soup. Told Tony I loved the meal and the cook came around with a huge grin. We were in the area of Long Beach and decided to try it out and man amazing experience. Have been wanting to try this place for a while now. We went in with the family and ordered a variety of things. The guy working the register was less than helpful. I asked him where I could look at the full menu and he told me to scan a QR code. I scanned the code and my daughter chose a meal that said it was shawarma on a bed of hummus served with garlic and pita. We ordered triple threat fries and a surf and turf chili relleno burrito (that was 28+ dolllars) along with a Crunchwrap and a couple other items. When our food came out, my daughter asked where the pita was for her hummus. Her plate was more like a giant bowl of hummus with a sprinkle of chicken on top.(picture attached). My husband went in and asked the guy at the register about the pita and he told my husband that it does not come with pita. So I pulled up the menu that he asked me to scan from the QR code and it clearly stated that it came with pita. I took my phone in and showed the guy what it said and he said oh that's only if you order online that you get pita. Really? I just ordered off a menu that you told me look up and there is apparently different items included if you order online? If the menu that I was told to order off of was not accurate, I should have been told that at the time of ordering. False advertisement. Plus what are you going to do with a huge bowl of hummus with no pit bread. So anyways, after spending $120 on dinner which the menu said included pita, I had to buy pita and wait even longer. I would suggest providing what is on the menu that you are asking people to scan to look at. Terrible customer service. I've been here multiple times, but this is the first review I've written. I usually have the soft tacos which are always good. Today I had the carne asada fries which a young lady there recommended. I got it with a side of the birria consome. So good. Fries were still a bit crunchy. It was loaded with carne asada. The pic is after I ate about 1/3 of it. They revamped this place to be more hyped up and modern to how it was before and they had some twist to there meal and more Mexican style dishes which I think is smart. The decor is street art and looks cool. There are some counter seats inside as well as outside seating. Outside you'll have the metro bud in front of you stopping by as wel as the major street. The food was a hit and miss for me. Let's start off with the mac n' polvo quesadilla which chicken added to it. I give this a a 3/5 STARS and that's because the chicken was very dry and had to chicken, the Mac could have needed more cheese to it as well. I've been to Fatima's twice now and both times were great. The first time I was pretty healthy and ordered a Mixed Shawarma Salad with mixed proteins. The portions were super generous and tasty. You can definitely order a salad here and not worry about being hungry too soon after. My second visit I decided I didn't want to live that healthy life and ordered the Mixed Shawarma Fries and they were pretty epic! Generous amount of everything but the veggies... I'd probably order extra veggies to make this dish a little less heavy but this is the perfect meal for a hangover cure or if you have the munchies. In addition to middles eastern food they have an extensive Mexican inspired selection and if you're a fan of Flaming Hot Cheetos, then you'll be in heaven. This is definitely more of a takeout spot but they do offer a couple of outside tables and a counter inside if you don't feel like taking your order to go. The inside is decorated in such a cute way, paying homage to both Lebanese and Mexican cultures and the employees here are super friendly and helpful. Once again this place killed it! I ordered Asada Nachos and 10/10 by far the best Asada Nachos I have had in a long while. They are very generous with the amount of cheese and meat they put where it leaves you wanting more. The service is a little slow but it's worth the wait. Enjoy this spot around the corner for takeout and quick meals. They have everything from nachos, burgers, quesadillas. They also have a decent Taco Tuesday special. Their cheese quesadilla at $7 is good when I'm looking for a quick meal at an affordable price, and I've also had their chicken and falafel salads. I love this place, have enjoyed everything I've tried but still have so many items I need to test!! Anything chicken from here might be my favorite, and the Habibi platter is a must. Taco Tuesday did not disappoint! I customize what I order because I have food sensitivities and they are always accommodating and haven't messed up any of my special requests (a big deal). Even if they did, I feel like they would be very polite about it because the team is so pleasant. Luiz brightens up my day! They accept EBT, and you can use it to buy their specialty sauces and other items with it. There's not a ton of room to eat inside, but there is seating outside, and it's never been an issue when I've visited. Support this awesome spot!!!! read more

Summary: Food and Service is great. Love how they advertise the halal. Parking is a little lame since it's mainly street parking in a busy residential. Limited seating. Not all items that are at other locations are at this location (read below). Parking: this restaurant is right next to some residential streets so it's a good and bad thing since the parking is free, but it did take me like 5-10 minutes finding parking. (Might be because of the soft-opening) Not The Same Menu as the original Fatimas Grill: I've went to the original Fatimas Grill when it first opened up, and this doesn't have the same menu items. Almost all of the specialty fries are not here (check the picture of the menu I posted, those are the only menu items they have available). The only specialty fries they had were the Asada Fries and the Triple Threat Fries. So yeah no OMG fries, or Sinner Fries, or Zinger fries or Brisket fries. This may change since I went during the soft opening so they may add more menu items afterwards. Seating: Seating is pretty limited. They only have around 8 of those single person seats that face the wall and I think they only have two tables outside that seats 2 people. Service: The service here is better than the original location. The owner/employee came up to me after I ordered to make sure someone took my order and asked for my name to make sure they can check on the order. Food: All their food is Zabihah halal. I went during their soft-opening and I got it to-go so I am going to be nicer since it was their first day, but I thought the food was comparable to the original location. I got 5 things: the chicken shawarma platter, hot Cheetos chicken quesadilla, hot Cheetos chicken crunchwrap, asada fries, and a zinger wrap. I was trying out different menu items so it's not a fair comparison since it was my first time trying the zinger wrap. Zinger Wrap = 6/10. I would definitely get the brisket over this. Since they include tomatoes and I got it to-go, the zinger was not crunchy by the time I got home. Chicken Shawarma = 9/10. Comparable to the other location, hummus was great. The rest was for my family so I didn't try it, but I will definitely come back and try the brisket burrito so I can do a fair comparison since I've had that in the other location. read more

Starting off the location is great, walking distance to all the surrounding neighborhoods. Parking is ample with a parking lot right across the street. Service was on point as soon as I walked in even tho I placed my order with Uber Eats I was welcomed as soon as I stepped inside. Everything was prepared perfectly and taste was amazing I had to dig in before I could take the perfect picture.
