    Chicken Tiki Plate... yum
    Todd D.

We loved this place. We stopped in after a movie at the Art Theater across the street. Lots of stuff looked good, but we decided to split the Chicken Tiki plate. It was kinda like chicken shawarma over rice with tahini and a salad. It was super good. The white sauce was more like a crema, the rice was interestingly spiced and soooo good. We split this and were both full. There's not much seating, we sat inside at the long table with stools. The staff were all nice. I can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu. The chicken Tiki was a winner.

This food was sooo good! I got the Quesarita burrito in chicken with everything. I have nothing but great things to say about my meal. I will definitely be back before I leave out of town.

Ordered some food from here and it did not disappoint. The torta was actually delicious and the meat was well seasoned and nicely cooked. The nachos were so delicious and there was a nice amount of it, the only thing is it could use a little more nacho cheese. Overall, they got some good decent food to choose from and wouldn't mind ordering other menu items again.

I had this place bookmarked since i moved to Long Beach and it was thanks to Instagram that I made the move to try it this weekend. Its an interesting mix of Mediterranean, Mexican and American foods in a small spot off the corner of retro row, but the food is pretty good. Since this was just another spot to take off my bookmark, i went with the move to try two different dishes. The first was trying their habibi plate. The Salad had a good vinaigrette with crunchy pieces of something on top. The Hummus came a plenty, and the lemons were a good addition to that. The beef and chicken combo was very good, but i wasnt too crazy about their rice. It wasn't up to snuff and would have prefered a pilaf, but overall the price and heftiness of the plate was impressive. I saw this photo of their Birria quesadilla and knew that if their asada quesadilla was anything close, I had this spot on lock into my rotation. This place is definitely great for Mexican food. It was the best quesadilla i've ever had, and i was sober as a judge. Cant imagine what this does with alcohol and potentially explode my tastebuds. There is still a lot to try from this spot, but despite its challenging placement to park for free for pickup, I managed it well for a Sunday. Go try it out. This is the fourth place on 4th street that i've tried and i have a few more to explore some time.

Mediterranean meets Mexican turns out to be a compatible marriage. With the Mediterranean wraps, it was basically a burrito with Middle-Eastern ingredients. For me, it was less greasy and more spicy than the traditional burrito. The size of these wraps is impressive, and can be intimidating for those with smaller gastric capacity. The hummus provides a nice creamy texture and richness. The tacos are just okay, according to my teenage son. We didn't try the drinks. We took our order to-go, and there wasn't really any dine-in space inside. The layout is the equivalent of a stationery food truck.

    Chicken Tiki (Fusion) Burrito
    Dominic D.

Fatima's Grill has been one of my go to spots in Long Beach for fun fusion and late night cravings but today's visit was more of a "meh" than a "wow." I grabbed the Chicken Tikka Burrito to go to try something new and it landed right in the middle for me. The flavors weren't bad, but they weren't hitting the way I expected either and the whole thing was just way too rice heavy. It felt like the chicken and other fillings got lost in a giant brick of rice, so every bite tasted more like a rice burrito with a little chicken, instead of a balanced flavorful wrap. Not inedible by any means just not something I'd run back for. That said, I don't want this one miss to overshadow what Fatima's does well. I've tried a lot of different items here over time and I always appreciate that they prepare everything fresh and use quality ingredients. Their beef and chicken shawarma tacos are legit good, and that Lebamex sauce is straight up addictive easily one of my favorite things on the menu. Overall this visit was a solid 3 star experience not terrible, not amazing, just okay. I'll definitely be back for my usual shawarma tacos and Lebamex sauce fix

    Shrimp burrito with chili relleno.
    Kate K.

Ok, I live just around the corner from Fatima's but have never stopped in until this week. I was craving some chile rellenos so I thought I'd try their burrito. First I tried ordering online. Online they have a Chile relleno burrito with any protein for $20. Kind of pricy, but ok. Except online ordering doesn't let you make any changes and I needed my burrito with no onions. So I decided to head to the restaurant and order in person. In person the same burrito ran $24. Ouch. As there's no menu posted it's really hard to know what all of their options and prices are, which is really why this review is 3 stars and not higher. I bit the bullet and ordered the burrito. Took about ten minutes before I was handed my nicely boxed burrito to go. So, the burrito. It was GOOD. Pretty large, I saved half for a second meal. There was a handful of chips and some green salsa that was delightfully fresh in the box as well. Lots of melty cheese. Was it worth $24? I don't know. I'd have a hard time paying that for a takeout burrito again. Staff were friendly, food was fresh. I'd like to see a menu posted in the restaurant so pricing is more transparent. Overall good experience if the prices fit your budget.

Triple threat burrito was excellent, fresh, hot, flavorful, packed with chicken, beef, and shrimp. Large portion too. The hot Cheeto mozzarella sticks were also hot, fresh, and flavorful. Inside was clean, food came out quick, workers were super friendly.

    Falafel Wrap
    Erica P.

A solid 2.5 Stars...At best. Being a vegetarian, I was excited to see a few falafel options on the menu. Sadly, the falafel had ZERO flavor. Like none. Actually, the entire wrap had zero flavor. Not even the small pieces of pickle. The only good thing I can say about it is...it's pretty. They also tossed in about 5 chips with it, but nothing to dip them in. Made absolutely not sense. Chips, no salsa? That's gotta be against the law.

The employees were so joyful and gave us some great recommendations! 10 out 10 for a late night munchie sesh or even a quick lunch. The playlist was poppin and the food was even better! Just go. You wont regret it!

    Eduardo P.

I got the hot Cheeto burrito and it was a lot bigger than I expected. It's really packed full and they stuff the hot Cheetos in the center. Definitely shareable I could eat only half and be satisfied(but never do). The meat was a little bland but there's a lot going on so it works. Price is on the higher end but the portions are huge The staff are nice and engaging, space was clean but small just around half a dozen seats along the wall.

Everything was going normally until I got to the sauce options at the end. The employee asked if I wanted barbecue sauce or hot sauce. I didn't hear her clearly at first and said "mild," and she responded in an irritated tone that it was either barbecue sauce or hot sauce. I told her I had never seen the barbecue sauce before and asked what it looked like. She repeatedly just said "it looks like barbecue sauce" instead of simply showing it to me or explaining it. I even asked if she could show me the sauce, and she still responded dismissively and seemed annoyed that I was asking basic questions before deciding what I wanted on my food. What made the interaction worse was that there wasn't even a line or rush happening at the time. I wasn't trying to hold anything up -- I just wanted to know what I was ordering. The receipt listed the employee name as "Estuardo," although the employee helping me was a woman, so the register name may not match the actual employee. I'm leaving this review as constructive feedback because a little patience and friendliness goes a long way with customers.

The lamb chops were the star of the meal--perfectly seasoned, savory, juicy, and beautifully grilled with that fresh, smoky barbecue flavor. The hummus was a 10/10: silky smooth, topped with whole chickpeas, and full of rich, authentic flavor. The rice deserves its own mention. It was light, fluffy, buttery, and perfectly cooked--not sticky at all. Paired with the fresh salad, it balanced the meal perfectly. For drinks, the sorbet drink was so refreshing, and the pomegranate tea was outstanding with bright, fruity notes that made it the perfect way to end the meal. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful. Sitting outside on the sidewalk felt cozy and romantic, and the decor inside genuinely made me feel like I was back in Turkey. Very intriguing and attention grabbing! Got us for sure! We did free street parking right in front and there were a couple other parties aside from us in the restaurant, but our food came out quite efficiently and we had more than enough for 2 people and we were able to take some home as leftovers to eat later. The bar area is GORGEOUS, the way they display their alcohol looks super glamorous. Perfect backdrop for photos, especially if you wanted like a Hollywood or Great Gatsby kind of thing. Actually, the booth seating was the tallest booth seating that I've ever sat at, which was neat in it's own way too. For our dinner, we got the: 1) Cali Chilli Powerhouse: -This is a zero proof drink. It's a milk blended almonds, pistachio, chia seeds, saffron and green cardamom. -Super rich smoothie like shake. Quite sweet and more of a dessert than anything, but if you like pistachio and almond, this is a very delicious drink. Very smooth and milky. Great to balance out the savory. 2) Pani Puri Poppers: -These are puffed puri bites and we got this half and half with charred chicken and potatoes. Underneath the puffed puri bites were shot glasses filled with mango and coconut, mint and cilantro, and yogurt and ginger dressing dressing. You pour the dressing into the bite and then shove it in your mouth and enjoy! -I've had something similar before at a different Indian restaurant, but I enjoyed it here much more. Dressings weren't overpoweringly sour like I've had at other places. Very refreshing dressings that went great with the protein/carb fillings. Love the crunch of the puff puri. My favorite was the mango coconut. I love the fruity sweetness with the savory. 3) Cali Chilli Pot Pie: -You get to choose your protein and we chose the lamb rogan josh as we got chicken for our other dish. -Comes out SUPER hot. Even towards the end of our meal, the dish was still steaming hot, but it's super unique and delicious. -The pie crust is mostly just the top of the dish and the rest is curry stew and protein below. Super tender lamb meat and flavorful curry. Nice kick, savory depth of flavor and spices. The pie bread part was moist, tender, top was flaky and delicious. A must. 4) Hariyali Chicken Boti Kebab: -This is part of their limited run Long Beach Food Scene Week menu. -It's a Tandoor (clay oven) combo meal made in an authentic tandoor, making the chicken smoky and slightly charred on the outside, and moist, juicy, and tender on the inside. -This dish comes with a choice of carb and salad, so we got the saffron ghee rice with the Cali Chilli Curry Sauce and the Citrus salad. -Delicious mint and yogurt taste to the chicken, both refreshingly sour and creamy, but herbal as well. There's a kick from the green chilies too, making it a great diverse dish of flavors and textures. I don't drink, so I can't really comment on the quality and taste, but the preparation for my boyfriend's drink was super cool. They used fire and poured it here and there. Truly a dinner and a show. The blue of the fire was super neat and great for videos and photos. Thank you for that! Will definitely come again.
