Went with the family, had 2 drinks, 3 sodas, 2 apps, 3 meals and 2 kid meals and it was over 90 bucks. Crazy expensive for average food.

Worst breakfast ever we were seated and then asked to move because they mistook us for another party. I ordered thick cut bacon and eggs. Got thinnest bacon I've ever seen. Hash browns were terrible. Eggs were small. Food came out with no clue where it was going even though first names were on tickets utter confusion as to who ordered what. No service at all had to get our own coffee and silverware. Our finished dishes were just left in front of us. The only thing that wasn't bad was the toast. No one liked their dish utterly disgusting. Our waitress was trying she was the only one rest of staff was wandering aimlessly about doing nothing. Completely unorganized and understaffed. We might as well been running the place. Will never go back. I've never seen anything this completely bad all around. read more

Wow I've have had good experiences here in the past, the food is good, service was good, usually here daytime. Got here tonight and while eating dinner the manager and his buddy sit down at the bar and start vapping and talking c##p about the employees. Ex: Tiffany' S boyfriend shouldn't be proud she's slept with everyone. Words like dykes and the n....gers. Just crazy talk. In the mean time a cockroach runs across the bar and the manager is oblivious. So sad this was my goto local place......no more. read more

I had my birthday dinner there on December 30 of 2016 and complained about the service and how the manager of the night treated myself and my party. I wrote an email and the boss said she would issue me a gift card. To this day I still haven't received not one gift card in the mail. I have emailed and tried following up and no return emails. I come in, I order a 9$ "roll out the barrel" long island (which I think is 24 or 32 ounces of a long island iced tea with root beer in it... yep) I get wonderfully buzzed, then order up some pizza, and the night is a success. Their pizza is excellent, sober or no. I have eaten it there and done carry out and they have consistent quality. The best thing about the pizza is the crust - they do a great thin crust pizza. Besides that its a bar with some tables and they have volleyball or some crap going on outside its hard to tell with 32 ounces of rootbeer long island iced tea coursing through your veins. I think based on the other reviews I am going to try in-laws and compare these places in an update review, since they are owned by the same company Im curious if in laws has similar quality pizza. read more

I had seen the sign outside their restaurant advertising Bloody Mary's on Sundays, so my boyfriend and I were excited to try them out. We walked in and one of the employees motioned to sit anywhere, so we sat in a booth along the wall. We waited and waited for someone to bring us menus. We watched as a waitress attended to the table in front of us. She walked away and came back to that same table twice, made eye contact with us, but never came over. I made eye contact with the other waitress working, but she never came over either. We then watched as another couple entered the restaurant, about 8-10 minutes after we had, and one of the two servers immediately followed them to the table they chose with menus in hand and asked if they'd like something to drink. It took everything in me not to cause a scene. We simply grabbed our stuff and left hungry, completely unsatisfied, and very disappointed. We will not be back. read more

Delightful surprise! We drove up from Houston for our son's Navy pass and review ceremony December 2013. The four of us came in late, passed the bar (my hubby fretting we'd come to a "dive" - but no! lol) to the dining room in back and got the cozy corner table. Loved the ambiance, intimate atmosphere. It's a nice establishment and they have a beach volleyball court. The booths also have their own personal TVs which is great. The service was great and really quick attentive and welcoming. As a bar this place is really nice to come to on a weeknight. But unfortunately I was not a fan of the food. It seemed really inconsistent. Some of our food was undercooked. I ordered the fajita salad and it was literally 50% sour cream and guacamole.. Which I guess makes sense for a places called fatmans haha. If they upgraded the menu or hired a new cook I think this place could get a 5 star review but im sorry to say it's just that bad. I mean the fries were good, at least. read more

This is a great casual restaurant that is also kid friendly. They have a great outdoor patio/bar which occasionally has live music. Saturday night they have 2 for 1 fajitas, chicken beef or combo which are incredible as is the price. They give you enough meat for 4 huge fajitas or 5 medium ones! Candy our waitress is great. Good service. Treats us like family. Place is clean lots of tables. Everything we have had there is wonderful. Would highly recommend!! read more

The people that work here are very rude. They don't care about you what so ever. Walked in today to watch the game and one of the workers that was cleaning the table told me in a very rude manner to find a table or go to the bar. When I went to the bar my game wasn't on and the worker that I first talked to asked me what am I looking for. Again in a very rude manner. I told him the long horn game he was just go to the bar. Uhh. They don't have the game on the bar. Just go to the bar. He just started ordering me. Will not be coming back to this place until they fire some people there. read more

First all let me tell you how the waitress treated me and my husband. The waitress first didn't listen to what I ordered. She brought the wrong food out.. My salad was tap water down. Than when I told her it was awful. She replied I can't nothing about it. I ordered garlic wings.. She brought me hot garlic wings. Than brought the bill and threw it at me.. The manager brought me the right wings but after she threw the tap at me.. I was done. The gm came to the table and covered the bill. Nice to find a good place up north! After a day of shopping we wanted to try something new. Really liked the atmosphere not your typical sports bar open and noisy, each table had its own television. Appetizers were the typical but not the typical grease actually felt light but yummy! Oh and I knew it at the cheese stick sauce if the red sauce is good the pizza is good. Great place to hang out on a summer night! My only issue is the mosquitos on the beautiful new beer garden. Get a fogger or some candles or whatever it takes because they are baad!! So if you watch the video you'll see they didn't have wings that day we went. But they still have great pizza and great service I really enjoyed the Tv and beer and everything else. I visited later and had their spiciest wings and they are on a 6/10 when it comes to spicy. Which isn't a bad thing I mean they really are very enjoyable wings. FATMAN'S has an excellent Fish Fry on Fridays. The Walleye is excellent served with soup or salad and several potato selections. Clam chowder is too good because it's hard not to fill up on it before the fish comes. Fresh house salad is a great substitute. Fish batter is excellent and first portion is more than ample. When you walk in the back door from parking it appears to be almost over crowded but you quickly get seating. First time there we had Shaun and he was excellent getting our drinks and answering what few questions we had on the menu. Lucky to get him again. Don't eat fish every Friday but when we're in the mood, Fatman's fill the bill. read more

Employees standing behind the bar cursing for the first 20 minutes of my visit followed by flat soft drinks & a blah pizza that's overloaded with cheese to disguise the flavorless crust and sauce. Ok 3stars... no way. Ask for Tommy he will set you straight. First time we went ribs and a wrap... and the soup of the day. Today fajitas were awesome and my wife had the chicken stripper sandwich. This has got to be one of the worst places we've ever been to. To the bartender and manager, good job of putting up with the ownership (or lack there of). The owner was playing slots, and really looked worthless. To start, the draft beer was awful for the limited selection they had. It just didn't taste right. We asked for a shot of fireball, jäger, and jack. They were out of all of them. The bottle beer was not cold either. Finally the kicker. The men's bathroom is an absolute joke!!! The urinal DOES NOT FLUSH!! (That's right no water.) There were no roll towels and the hand dryer did not work. (How is this not against health code!!) The Fatmans is in a very sad state. There were no other customers in the joint and I see why. Hope the owner has deep deep pockets, cause they are gonna need them to keep that train wreck open!! read more

Have been coming for a couple of weeks now - Wednesday's and Thursday's. Staff seems more concerned about themselves then any paying customer in the bar. Good Example, on a Wednesday, waited 25 minutes to get a drink at the outside bar - Why? The TWO bartenders and TWO servers were standing next to the computer system worrying more about their phones and taking picture of themselves. Fatmans was a dive bar back in the day. Now much has changed. Stopped by for a drink and apps a couple of months ago on a Saturday night for old time sakes. The place was dead. The employees were playing the slots. The bartender was busy doing shots with the only two people at the bar. The place smelled like a sewer. Something was seriously wrong with the bathrooms. No way we could stomach eating there. Avoid this place! read more

Ironically, probably best restaurant owned by the group that apparently owns Primo and Chicago Woodfire pizza. Why? Because you know exactly what you are going to get when you go in. It's a bar with bar food. A friend and i went and we got a few beers, a few apps (nachos and wings), and the bill was a reasonable $40. Food was tasty. Beer could have most definitely been colder (don't know if the glass was warm from the dishwasher, but even bottled beers were just within the cold range) but food was tasty. The place could definitely be cleaner (hopefully the kitchen is clean) but all in all it's a decent bar with decent bar food. And when you leave there after spending a few hours and the bill is only $40 for drinks and food you don't feel like you've been totally ripped off. read more
