We sampled the scallop & mushrooms, steam buns and sake mussels, all of them layered with Asian flavors you won't get from most restaurants. Second course of "soup and salad" was anything but ordinary as evidenced from photos. We paired dinner with a couple of bottles of Cab from ZD; an excellent choice with the planned menu. Patrick provided excellent service throughout the 2 hour meal, and soon we were feasting on Branzino, Duck Confit ( not pictured here) & Umi butter noodles. Nice portions with excellent flavors, everyone was impressed and satisfied with their choices. Stuffed but wanting the full experience, we shared some Matcha Cheesecake that was perfect and not too sweet. The best part is the menu as it changes monthly. Focused on local offerings with Asian flare. The setting is reminiscent of dinner club with classy bar and decor. Do yourself a favor and make reservations soon at Stirling in the Valley; you will thank yourself.

Met a friend here. Her suggestion to come here for dinner. This was hard to score. A lot of good…read morebut a few bad. It was crowded on a Tuesday. They have a taco Tuesday thing but it's not a discount it's 3 tacos and you can mix and match from what they make. Which is not really a special in my opinion. The place has a nice patio and inside can fit an about 10 tables of various sizes. And the bar has seating. Cute place. I see it can get crowded on a Friday night or Saturday night. We got the green bean app for the table. They are cooked perfectly with teriyaki glaze and some tempura but not a lot. They have a sauce that has a bit of a kick but not bad. These are good and good to share. Good portion. I ordered the steak and gruyere sandwich and chips. Sandwich was good. Not big but very flavorful and good. Would have liked a bigger banquette for the sandwich. Ok amount of meat. It was good. The chip side was very crunch and good amount. But to me the chips were a bit greasy tasting. Needed more salt and a bit of flavor. It was a ok meal. The friend that suggested the restaurant got the Ohio burger. It was huge. She cut it into 4's and only ate half. It was big! She also got the chips. Again chips were ok just a bit oily tasting and need salt. The dining area is loud. Lots of people in close proximity talking. It's hard to hear and sound is bouncing. That was a bit of a bummer to try and talk over all the noise. Server was good very attentive and helped with suggestions. Bill for 3 sandwiches, including a burger, a water, coke and cider with green beans appetizer was $81. Not including tip.

I went there and the ambiance was nice really casual and clean. We came and it was happy hour all the drinks were $5 including speciality drinks / if you come for nothing get you a cocktail! We got the mixed seasoning , Cajun, garlic, mild heat. The food was flavorful and yummy. Seafood is tough and I'm a critical eater of seafood. Shrimp was cooked to perfection and so often when you try these boil houses it's over cooked . Crab was fresh and easy to come out of the shell . I was skeptical at first because some of my favorite seafood places are ones close to oceans such as eateries in DC, Florida etc so the bar is high. I would recommend this place and come back. We had very kind waitress . She was sweet. Will be back. Had coloring where children can draw directly on the table my daughter loved that.

SHAME ON YOU A Plus Crab Owners & Management!! I can't believe what I just witnessed... So last…read morenight my husband & I were dining in at the restaurant. When we 1st arrived the server (we had many times in the past) politely greeted us & asked about are day. We could immediately see that she was upset & on the verge of crying. We told her we weren't in any rush & if she needed some time for herself we would be ok with waiting while she took the time to get herself composed and she could get back to us afterwards. She immediately started to cry & thanked us before heading to the bathroom. After a few minutes she came back to the table. We asked her if everything was ok. She explained, the family that just left (before we entered) left without paying their bill. This family had gotten FOUR King Crab Meals, each costing $109. The total bill being over $400. The sever went her management about this issue & they informed her this was her fault, she would responsible to unpaid bill & it wouldbe coming out of her next pay check. Another table directly beside us also witnessed this and these kind people gave the server alittle money to help cover the cost of the unpaid bill. But ultimately this server was left paid this bill costing her over $300. Management treated this poor girl so horribly, they held her responsible for such a high bill & then told her to stop "crying about it"! This was absolutely disgusting!! Why is the lowest paid person responsible for this?? I felt so bad for her!! I know it would take every bit of her tips for the day, plus some of her pay check to cover this unpaid bill. Until today, A Plus Crab was one of our favorite places to eat. The servers are always so pleasant & the food is fantastic. But after this experience we are now rethinking EVER going back to this establishment and Ill be sharing this experience with anyone I can, as an example of how NOT to treat your employees & people in general. I CAN NOT support any company knowing this is the treatment of their employees. I dont know how she didnt just walk out & never look back. But Im sure just like most people, she has bills to pay, a family to support & cant afford to be without a employment. Also, Im sure she probably cant afford to pay the customers unpaid tab either. As much money as this company makes & your telling me that they put this responsibility onto their lowest paid workers. THATS TOTAL BULLCRAP!! A Plus Crab, you really need to rethink your rules, policies & MOST of ALL the TREATMENT of YOUR EMPLOYEES!! This is shameful!! At a minimum YOU owe this poor girl an apology & maybe a raise for the CRAP treatment she endures while working for your company! DO BETTER!!!

This is a very unassumingly simple restaurant that is focused on delivering tasty, freshly prepared food from Central America--and it's not just Mexican, either. While the interior ambiance isn't the crazy, colorful and busy dining area many Americans are used to, it's clean and the walls are adorned with flags from the Central American countries the restaurant represents. The food was not gunked-up with sauces and spices like so many have come to expect, in fact, the food was a little in the bland side with the exception of the spicy cabbage salad that was given with our food--delicious! I have had the chicken burrito twice now and it was fat and plentiful both times now. I'd say there was far more fresh, tender chicken and fewer fillers than commercial restaurants I've experienced. My wife ordered a couple of papusas the first time we came, one cheese and one chicken. Again, the food was hot and the papusas were a generous size (maybe 5-6" in diameter). The people we've encountered here are very nice and welcoming, though English may be a little difficult for them at times. I spoke a little in Spanish and they were very happy (and perhaps relieved). I hope this place does well. It's a refreshing change to some of the Mexican restaurants we've been to and we like supporting local businesses!

We only had tacos and pupusas though the menu is more extensive. All tacos were good but birria were standouts. I didn't see birria on the menu but they have them. Green and red salsas were also both full of flavor. Super affordable (5 tacos and 3 pupusas for $30!), staff was quick and friendly. They take cash and card. Happy to support this small business.
