One of my favorite spots in the heart of Hudson! I stopped in for a light bite and enjoyed the incredible king crab bruschetta paired with a delicious limoncello martini. The service was exceptional, as always, and the atmosphere is one I can never get enough of. Every visit reminds me why this place is a favorite. Be sure to stop by -- you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

This was our first time eating at Porta Rossa, and everything was excellent! As soon as we walked in, we were commenting on how beautiful it was inside. There is a nice size bar and about a dozen tables of different sizes. You will definitely need a reservation; even on a Wednesday night it was busy. We ordered the calamari appetizer, a lobster daviola pasta, and the eggplant ravioli. We finished it off with the tiramisu for dessert. We can't wait to go back to try some more things on the menu!

The food is next level! The service is outstanding and the restaurant is beautiful. If you're looking for a special, one of a kind place, this is it.

Every dish we tried was perfection. I love the interior and design, it feels like you are in Italy. Might be Shawn Mondays best creation yet. Service, drinks and food were impeccable. What a special treat to have here in Hudson!!

Wow- phenomenal food and service. My foodie husband and I were incredibly impressed. Will absolutely be back soon. Grateful to have this in Hudson.

So good! The sourdough focaccia with the whipped ricotta and honey is an absolute must.

We arrived around 5:45pm and sat at the bar with only 2 other people who we realized were regulars. The bartender immediately got us menus, but decided to chat with them for an extra long period of time despite making eye contact with us several times while we were trying to order drinks. We sat for a solid 10 minutes with our menus closed and stacked with no drinks or food order placed while she chatted with them. We finally flagged her down to order. The rest of the night followed the same pattern. We intended to order a second round but she routinely glanced at our empty glasses and went back to chatting with others around us instead. The food was so mediocre, we didn't even bother getting boxes given how the night was going. We asked for our check and 3x she looked at our card on the tray to instead chat with others before we finally had to ask her to run the tab. We will not be back. As regulars of other places I understand their importance, but to be flat out ignored on small crowds was a wild experience Food: 2/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 2/5

Its a women-owned business, too. Woot woot! Viva Bene has an inspired, well-organized wine selection and extremely cute accompanying accessories. From wine picnic baskets to cocktail napkins and unique corkscrews, one could assemble a truly gorgeous gift here. The next time I'm in need of a sophisticated gift for my entertaining and vino loving friends, I am immediately coming here. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The manager gave me great wine suggestions before I settled on a mid-priced Rosé from their cooler. Viva Bene also carries a section of speciality foods like noodles, sauces, soups and other gourmet condiments. I was in a bit of a rush so I didn't get to dive in thoroughly, but again, a stellar collection of food products. Viva Bene Gourmet is truly one of those rare local shoppes that makes me feel like I can be a 5-star chef, even if my reality is more setting off fire alarms. I'll absolutely come back to this charming place!

Rosewood Grill was an excellent birthday dinner choice. We had reservations for 5PM on a Tuesday…read moreand arrived about 10 minutes early. We were seated immediately and instantly felt our experience was going to be top notch. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, upscale but still casual. We ordered the deviled eggs and the sushi shots as an appetizer. The shots were amazing. Fish was fresh and the wontons dipped in the sauce were fantastic. The deviled eggs were just ok and tasted like any normal deviled egg. Nothing to write home about, but fine. For my entree I ordered the mixed grill and chose the Caesar salad and lobster tail. I think it was one of the best Caesar's I've ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and the tail was huge! The potatoes were good but a little gummy (potato snob checking in. They were still edible and I finished them, no complaints.) There was some awkwardness in ordering my birthday dessert, however. The server that filled our waters when we were initially seated asked if we were celebrating anything - yes my birthday! She mentioned that I would get a brownie with ice cream on the house. Awesome! My favorite! I don't think this was communicated to our actual waitress. When I asked about the brownie she said "yeah it's a birthday thing, but I think I can make that happen". But.... It's my birthday :'( I felt like a jerk making some special request. My brownie came out without a candle. I overheard a woman at another table also celebrating a birthday and she got a candle with her birthday dessert. I hate to sound like an ungrateful pick me brat, but I wish this would have been communicated to our waitress. Having to ask about the brownie made me feel awkward. I can deal without a candle I swear!! But why wasn't it communicated to our actual server that we were celebrating? It's really all in the little details. But definitely not a make or break. We visited all the way from Pittsburgh, and talked about the meal all the way home and how delicious everything was. We will absolutely make the trip back.

Fantastic food and even better service. I intend on going back the next time I'm in townread more
