I will personally never return to Fatte's Pizza in Lompoc again! Ordered 2 pizzas at 12:25 pm. Was told they'd be ready in 15-20 minutes. At 12::45, I arrived to pick them up. After I paid and left a $5.00 tip, she told me, "It's going to be another 12 minutes." She then corrected herself and said, "Fourteen minutes." I asked, "What happened?" And she said, "We got 2 big orders right before you called." I waited the 14 minutes and then asked, "Can you give me a free soda to compensate for them not being ready when you said they would be?" Her response: "No, I can't do that." I said, "I'm picking up these pizzas for my husband's work. They get a half hour lunch. I was supposed to bring them to him at 11:45." By that time it was 12:00 noon. She replied, "Well, if you wanted them at a certain time, you should have told us. Then we could have made sure you got them when you needed them!" 1) If someone says your order will be ready at a certain time, why should I have to say what time I need it by? Way to switch things up and blame the CUSTOMER for your mistake! If they got 2 big orders right before mine, shouldn't she have adjusted the pick up time accordingly? 2) I left her a $5.00 tip. She easily could have taken that $5.00 and used it to buy me a soda. Instead she told me she "couldn't do that." I ended up waiting 35 minutes for pizzas that should have been ready in 15-20, according to them. Having worked at a pizza place in my younger days, I know how long it takes to cook a pizza in a commercial oven. It takes 5-10 minutes, depending on the size and type of crust. The worst part is this girl didn't apologize for the wait and refused to offer anything in compensation. At the end she stated, "Again, I'm sorry for the short wait" (yes, she said "short", not "long" or "extended") and I just responded, "It wasn't short. It was twice as long as you told me over the phone!" Fatte's, please do better in training ypur employees. There is no excuse for this type of "customer service." You have lost a good customer due to an employee's inability to want to make things right. read more

Ordered two large chicken combo with no onions, when I got home there was onions in my 39.00 pizzas. I called to complain was told I never ordered from them. I gave the time I came in, the time I ordered, etc. so I have two pizzas I was charged and paid for but I never came in. What horrible service. I asked for no onions than I call to complain and than lied to, but you sure got your money. I hate onions and it's all throughout the pizza. The pizza, ribs and wings here are amazing! Service is fast, however, the little pizza place is small. It does not look like it has any tables to sit and is only for pickup. The pizza is always freshly made and they hook up a lot of whatever toppings you order. The wings are cooked perfectly and always meaty. Ribs are tender and slide right off the bone. read more

I am never going back. I have been in the Pizza business for 20+ years, and a loyal fatte's customer (every one on the central coast) and I have never seen anything like this before. I ordered 2 two-topping pizzas but apparently we had a misunderstanding and I was charged for and given two four toppings pizzas. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but one of the pizzas was for a picky eater. We tried to pick toppings off but they were still upset. I called the restaurant and they said they could make my pizza again. Great, perfect! Then she demanded that I RETURN THE MESSED UP PIZZA??? FINE. I bring her the pizza back and she gave me a refund for the difference . Once we got home, we finally started eating; no one touched the pizza we already had until this moment. Raw. Cheese was unmelted, dough was uncooked. Now, as I said, I have been in the business for a while. So maybe in the rush to replace our pizza it was underdone, but there was no excuse for the first pizza. It was late, we put the pizza away and went to bed. Today I called to complain again. All I wanted was a refund, put this all behind us, and continue on with our lives. The manager, who was the only person I interacted with at this location, refused. She said she wouldn't give us a refund unless we... Wait for it... Return the Pizzas. At this point we had tried to reheat the pizza and ended up picking toppings off. When we got to the shop again, she didn't want to give us a refund because we "ate half the pizza" even though we left the uncooked cheese and dough intact. After refusing to leave without our money, or instead speak to the owner on the phone, she reluctantly gave us our refund and banned us from the shop. Moral of the story: if you want fatte's pizza, drive the 35 minutes to Santa Maria. I've never had any issues there, nor, in fact, any other location. read more

This is the first time I ordered and it was straight forward: order taken over phone, given time estimate for delivery (that was accurate) and the rest is history. The pie came through as ordered, which in this day and age is refreshing in of itself. I asked for extra pizza sauce too and actually got extra pizza sauce! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We had been wanting to try this new spot in Lompoc and decided to give it a shot last night. The pizzas are ALWAYS buy 1 get 1 which works great for us cause my husband and I don't like the same toppings lol Last night we ordered 2 small pizzas for delivery. I know they were super busy being New Year's Eve so I expected a long delivery time. They said "within an hour" and it came about 45min later which was super awesome and surprising. AND both pizzas came correct. 1 small, thick crust, pepperoni and pineapple pizza with extra sauce. 1 small, regular crust, pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. The delivery driver was also super personable and funny. My husband had asked how busy they were, he was saying it was pretty crazy, and we told him this was our first time trying Fattes, to which he replied "well I've gained like 5 pounds since I started working here if that means anything" And after tasting the pizza, I can definitely see why lol!! If I could give 0 stars I would. The employees are super rude and have no sense of customer service. They made one of our pizzas incorrectly, and the women who took our order tried blaming it on us in front of her manager. We ordered a ham and pineapple pizza, we got pepperoni and pineapple. I specifically said ham, and my husband was right next to me and he confirms that I asked for ham and not pepperoni. We kindly asked for a refund for a pizza we did not order. They would not give us a refund. Instead we have to wait here again for 20 minutes to get our correct pizza. All while having our other pizza waiting in the car and getting colder by the second.
