Pizzas for the family
Jessica C.

We've tried to come here a few times, but there is usually a sign on the door that says their waitlist is full or they don't do take out orders. We decided to ask even thought thee was a sign on the door and they said they had room for us. It's a small little restaurant inside. We came with a party of five and ordered a pizza for each person. It was a perfect amount for an adult if you're really hungry. For kids, probably two could share one. I got the fungi white pizza and it was delicious. I loved all the flavors. I tried the margarita pizza and that was also really yummy. We tried an Italian beer, which was pretty good. There weren't many beer options. Overall, Pizzeria Faulisi is a yummy pizza option in downtown Cary.

sassier italian + margherita!

absolutely incredible!!!! stopped by for dinner without a reservation, just 2 people, at around 6:45pm. the place was pretty full but we got seats at the bar, which ended up being great because we could see up close how the magic was being made! it was kind of loud inside, so i thought i heard the server say each pizza was individual size, and suffice it to say they were much larger than i was envisioning. we ordered one margherita and one sassier italian (pesto and calabrian chiles) and the pizzas came out super quick. both were absolutely delicious. we especially enjoyed the sassier italian, which was actually spicy! i can't wait to return to try some other menu items, especially the tiramisu (which looked amazing as servers walked by with it), the cannolis, and the arugula pizza. an awesome little joint!!

Cozy restaurant and best to head early to grab a table. If you enjoy thin crust pizza, this would be the place. There is a small selection of white and red sauce pizza. Service was prompt and our server always checked in with us. Great place to have a family dinner out with the kids!

After hearing many positive reviews about the pizza, I finally made it in for lunch. Great location with plenty of parking. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. Stopped in for lunch and didn't realize they don't offer individual slices, so naturally I had to order a pizza for myself:) I ordered the Margherita pizza, it's cooked in their wood oven and was flavorful. Can't wait to try other menu items. Nice and small intimate pizzeria in the heart of Cary.

I usually come here for the tiramisu, but decided to sit down for a pizza today and enjoyed every bite. Loved the atmosphere, it could be a great spot for a date night or taking friends visiting from out of town. Waiter was attentive and the food arrived fairly quickly. I'll be coming back again!

Always good and the tiramisu was the best version that I have tasted, ever! New seasonal veggies with a very yummy compound butter. Try it! I am usually gluten free but for whatever reason, their pizza dough doesn't make me feel bloated or cramps. I think they special order their flour from Italy(?)??

The service is fantastic here and I love the pretty and cozy bistro atmosphere. The pizza is tasty, but a little charred on the crust. This is a relaxing place to grab a bite in downtown Cary.

Yay for being open most of Saturday, so that we could have an early dinner (or late lunch)! This is in a small strip center on the way into downtown Cary. (where capital vacuum is). We almost drove by it thinking it was farther into downtown. Parking lot is not huge, but we scored a spot. There is a hostess stand and a limited number of tables, but there are also counter seats. The small space is well utilized (staff has lockers near the bathrooms, for instance). The star of the show is the wood pizza oven. Water is the trendy bottled no-ice version. Sigh. I like ice! Oh well, have a glass of the "daily" wine for $5 and not whine about it. Husband chose a Bruprint scotch ale and was only mildly disappointed that it was out of a can. He much prefers drafts. Love that they have vermouth options. Will have to try those next time. Hungry after working out, we went with the Cauliflower Caesar to start followed by the Amati (3-meat pizza: pepperoni, soppresetta and prosciutto) along with a Margherita with Calabrian Sausage. Cauliflower is so tangy and rich. Loved the char on it, and the rich sauce. Wouldn't have minded a little more of the zesty arugula that topped it, to cut the richness. Don't waste the charred leaves...they're as good as the rest of it! Pizza: I do believe Husband used the word "sublime" about the crust. It's delicate, but stands up to the toppings just enough. The char is what makes it, so those that think that's burned are just plain wrong. Note: one pizza would have been enough for both of us, but we were happy to take leftovers home, and are happily anticipating them. Dessert: Couldn't pass up the house made cannolis. They come in a pair, with a nice cherry on one end of each and a little chocolate on the other. Tasted like homemade cheese as well. A steal at only $3! Which leads me to saying that we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices! An appetizer, two drinks, two pizzas and dessert for $55 (before tip). Are you sure we're in Cary? :)

We split a salad and margherita pizza for dinner. The salad was $7 medium sized with nuts, Italian cheese, and mixed greens. There was lots of radicchio in the salad which made it a bit bitter but had a nice crunch and zest with the lemon vinaigrette, so overall good. The pizza was on special for $6 from 5 - 6 pm; unfortunately we arrived at 6:08 pm and it was $13. Not worth the full price. Crust was good, sauce is tangy, fresh mozzarella and basil were excellent but so lacking in quantity that we had mostly tomato sauced bread. This would have been more acceptable for $6 but definitely not a $13 pizza.

Amat and why not? Yum!

You walk in and have a little self-type market area and immediately to the right there are refrigerators with prepared meals to buy and take home. Straight after the Shelf section there is the butcher shop with all cuts of meats. I liked the concept where you could even pick your meats and have the chef cook them there for you and you can dine in! They also had an area for dining in and sitting at a bar. The bar had many choices of drinks and a wine section in the back to the side. There was a patio area as well. I decided to have some lunch so I got the salmon BLT which was delicious and I got the side of hot honey brussel sprouts. I ordered some lasagna to take home for a meal later. The salmon was cooked perfectly at a medium temperature and the flavoring was great. The brussel sprouts had just enough kick to them and was a great portion size for two or more. The lasagna was good and also a good size but it is a little bit spicy so if you dont like spice be prepared for a little tiny bit. All was delish. The pricing for everything is on point and not too expensive. They also have specials most of the days of the week! Peyton helped me with my to go orders and I met Ralph the owner who told me about the concept of everything. I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend! Second time back was wonderful! Sat and dined in. I got the $1 wings special with barbecue, mac and cheese, and salmon salad. The wings were jumbo size which is great because unlike other places they weren't the size of your pinky. The mac and cheese was very flavorful with the small crisp. The salmon salad was neat because it came and deconstructed segments so you could really pick which toppings you wanted on each bite. The dressing on it was amazing and so was the ranch for the wings. I was attended to by Desiah and Liam who were other so personable and lovely! All of the portions are amazing and I love it because I have food for a few days. Definitely going to come back again to try some of the new items that they've added to their menu.

The atmosphere strikes that nice balance between relaxed and refined, where conversation flows without feeling rushed. She went with the filet mignon, cooked medium, and it came out exactly as requested, tender, flavorful, and clearly handled with care. That's what she said. I ordered the chicken pesto entrée, which held its own with a rich, well-balanced flavor that didn't try too hard but delivered where it mattered. Now, the real standout: the Hot Honey Roasted Brussels. Those were done to perfection. Crisp on the outside, tender inside, with just the right touch of sweetness and heat. Frankly, I could eat those daily without a second thought. Service deserves a nod, too. The chef stopped by the table to check in, which we were not expecting. Payton, our server, had a great read on the table, attentive when needed, but gave us the space to enjoy the evening without interruption. That kind of awareness goes a long way, especially on a date. All in, it's the kind of place that quietly does things right. Good food, easy atmosphere, and just enough polish to make the night feel a little special. Definitely a strong choice when you're hoping for a second date that turns into a third.

Overall, the little coffee shop is cute and has a little bit of outdoor seating which I liked but is expensive for being so mid in my opinion. I ended up paying almost $7 for a blueberry latte. Overall, my latte tasted like a regular latte, even though it did have a seasonal blueberry syrup added to it. I know that blueberry is very light in flavor compared to coffee so I asked for more than the allotted amount of syrup and their response was that they had a certain amount added to of syrups added. So I said ok thinking they would take that into consideration but when I got my coffee, guess the amount they added didn't matter because it tasted the same as a latte regular. Unfortunately, at the end of my coffee (like the last 20%) had what I assume to be bits of berry in it? The texture made me toss the remaining amount. With the high prices and the location right on a busy street / no parking I probably wouldn't be back but I did enjoy being about to sit outside under an umbrella and the service was nice / fast. Small selection in comparison to Preston Corners location, but still good quality. Delicious bakery items as you would expect from La Farm and very friendly helpful staff encountered here. The Deets: I had the chance to go by this location of La Farm Bakery near downtown Cary on Chatham St a couple of times during the past holiday season. I had walked over first to see about getting some gift baskets shipped to friends for the holidays but found out upon entering that they only handle shipping at the Preston Corners/Cary Parkway location. I was surprised as this location had such a large footprint with being the size of a grocery store but most of that size is used for the actual baking/storage itself it appears. The bakery service/cafe at this location is pretty small but nice and clean, with the only sitting area only outside with no actual inside seating to enjoy any purchases. There is not a dedicated inside sit-down cafe experience here. The actual selections on the shelves available seem in less volume than say their Preston Corners location (on my second visit here I wound up going to Preston Corners again for the items I wanted for a holiday party I was to attend). The same, still delicious, baked items in their display case as well as coffee/beverages are available here and still as enjoyable which earns most of their four stars here. Luckily the second visit I made here was on a warmer day so the outside seating could be utilized if you wanted to eat there. Another reason for their four stars here is the great positive attitude and friendly demeanor of the staff here. Even though they could not help me with my shipping of gift baskets on the first visit when I inquired, I was offered coffee while I waited for my ride share to take me to the Preston Corners location and that was greatly appreciated. The small cafe at the downtown Cary of La Farm Bakery is a nice stop for bakery items and goodies but for more of the full "La Farm experience" for gifts etc. then you may want to start out at the Preston Corners/Cary Parkway location. I may have had more of a 3.5 star full experience here, they get to those 4 stars with the deliciousness of the La Farm baked goods and the friendly helpful staff I encountered.
