Faux Real offers lash and brow services in a very clean and professional environment. Wendy did an amazing job doing a combo nano shadowing and hair stroke blading on my eye brows last year. Before I booked we had a video consultation and she answered all of my questions and gave me a ton of information to read about what to expect during and after the treatment. It made me really comfortable and excited to make this investment. After the service, she had a kit with products and instructions on what to do and expect for about 2 weeks following. I booked a touch up at about the 1 year mark because it's generally recommended. However, once I got there, she took a look and informed me that I didn't need a touch up, but just a brow wax. I really appreciated this level of honesty and integrity as a business owner. There is a huge price difference between any permanent makeup procedure and a simple wax so she didn't make as much as she would have expected today. However her commitment to doing what's best for me as a client and my skin really made me feel good. I don't really do any lash services but would definitely patron Faux Real if I should in the future. Also, my eye brows look incredible! She is very knowledgeable and friendly. The space is clean and welcoming. I appreciate the ease of scheduling online and even paying the deposit when I book. All scheduling and payment is through the Vagaro app, which I appreciate because you can link a credit card there and not have to go through any weird cash app or Zelle situation at the completion of your service. I came from another lash girl who had put on way too long of lashes for volumes and they were damaging my natural lash. I needed a fill and the lash place I had found cancelled an hour before my appointment, and I was leaving on vacation in 2 days. Gina got me in AFTER HOURS no problem and made me feel very at home! She was very informative about what was going on with my lashes and knowledgable about what was causing all of my issues! Will definitely be sticking with her! I had several lash appointments at this location and they consistently did a good job. Really positive energy and all the ladies are really nice & processional. I always appreciated the occasional calls I'd get from the receptionist checking in post appointment or calling to remind me of an upcoming appointment. One minor issue I had with this location was scheduling consistency across the different lash techs on the roster. They all did a good job, but there was one lash tech I booked with for a few fills who would consistently work 30-45 minutes *over* our scheduled appointment without ever communicating what was happening (i.e. I had a 60 min fill that was 90 min; a 90 min fill well over 2 hours - I didn't realize how much time had passed until she was finished and she never explained why it took so long). I got the sense she just worked at a slow pace, but it made it challenging to get to the next thing on my calendar in time so I had to switch to a different tech. When I switched to another tech at the same location, I booked a 90 minute fill but she finished in 45 minutes, but she still insisted on charging me for a 90 min fill. For all my future appointments, I always booked for 60 min for this reason. Nonetheless, I'd still recommend this location and trying out a few of the techs to find the right fit. read more

I was pressed for time, with a last minute event scheduled for this Sunday. I spent countless hours looking for lash shops that would do same day appointment. Called Faux Real Beauty, spoke with the owner Wendy, who advised she would definitely help me out and could get me in within the next few hours. I just want to say walking through the door the shop was very clean and a welcoming atmosphere. not like any other lash shops I have been to. I was immediately greeted walking through the door. The owner advised me she would be doing my lashes, walked me through their process. I loved she asked me if there was a preferred music station I would like to listen to while I was getting my services done. Once completed, my lashes were amazing and worth every penny. I had my first bikini wax here and was really pleased with the results. Tashé did a wonderful job in keeping me calm by engaging in conversation with me during the process. She also told me to breathe in before she pulled off the wax as an indicator to brace myself and remain calm. She was pleased to answer all the questions I had about the type of wax she was using on my skin, how to care for the skin afterwards, etc. I really didn't experience much pain on my bikini area when I got home. She did however miss a small patch of hair on my inner thigh but since it was my first wax I think those hairs just wouldn't come out. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a bikini wax! Already scheduled my next appointment with Tashé to do a Brazilian. read more

I am giving Faux Real Beauty a 2nd star for their customer service, of what otherwise would be a 1-Star review. I recently moved to the area from out of state, and decided to try this Lash Studio out, as it was close to my new home; I have been getting my lashes done for over a year and a half. My first lash artist was very nice, but I could tell through the service, was very green. I only came in for a classic fill, and it took the technician about 2 hours. The very next day, all of my lashes started falling off of one of my eyes (note for those that understand lash extensions: I am a back sleeper, and the lashes were placed WELL off of my lash line on that particular eye). I didn't really want to go back to this studio after this, but also didn't want to pay someone else for a 2nd day fill that looked like a 3 or 4 week fill on the one side, especially because Faux Real charges so much for the initial fill (I understand why, so I wouldn't be upset over the price had they done a good job). I decided to contact the studio to see how this issue could be resolved. The response time was not great, but they did manage to get me an appointment before I left town a few days later (after several back and forth calls). They set me up with a different technician, which at the time, I was grateful for. This time, the lashes lasted about 4 days; better than round one, but VERY unreasonable when my lashes are typically FULLY intact after 2 weeks, and I only start to lose them in that 3rd week. The worst part about the fix fill (aside from it being very obvious that the technician was overworked with no support - she was very vocal about that), the technician DIDN'T MATCH THE NEW LASHES TO THE OTHER EYE!! The lashes were MUCH shorter on the eye she fixed. I did not say anything to the technician, because I didn't have the time (nor did she) to fix them before I left. A small piece of me was grateful that the lashes were falling out after 4 days, because they really did look terrible. Luckily, my trip out of town was back home from where I had just moved. My old lash technician squeezed me in, and my lashes are still in pretty good shape after 2.5 weeks. But, unfortunately, back to the drawing board on finding a lash place here in the Cleveland area. read more

I had an appointment with them June 27th. The appointment was set for 4:30 pm because I work over on brook park and I live in Euclid so I leave straight from work and come directly to my appointment so I get a call at 12:47 pm the day of my appointment saying that my appointment has to be pushed back to almost 6 pm due to a scheduling issue which is not my fault (basically there are more employees than tables) ! so I called back and spoke to I think the owner I can't remember at this point and it was either I had to push my appointment back and inconvinence myself to go all the way home to Euclid to leave back out and come all the way to Beachwood during rush hour for my appointment which I had to do or I had to schedule during the weekend which I was not doing because I was going out of town then when I got there it was as if nothing had happened and the tech I was there to see wasn't even there yet she came in like 5-10 minutes after me read more
