I have been going to Fawzi's since Fawzi left JC Repair many years ago. I have brought my car there and usually was given a good experience, quick, thorough & meh with price. However, over the past two years I have spent close to two thousand dollars in repairs. The last three repairs.... $300+ April , 2025., $600+ November/ 2024 & $700+ August/2024. There are more repairs but, those are a few examples. I have been told by the mechanics themselves they run diagnostic to see what the problem is. And yes I'm their defense my car is a 2001 Honda Accord, I am disabled and cannot afford another car at this time. However, if they believed the car has reached its end, why keep almost literally stealing my money. The truth could've saved me thousands. So, six days after my car breaks again l, called to report the problem . The rude phone attendant told me "yeah just have it towed there & it's gonna be about a week!" I stated, "my car was just there six days ago, you had it for a week already, you had it for a week a few months ago as well and I'm not paying for yet another tow!" He told me he could have the car towed on Monday, claimed to write down my address and phone number, that was a week ago today and still no call, no apology, no professionalism, no customer support. I am disappointed beyond measure & disappointed that a good mechanic/owner let poor staff ruin his once reputable business. read more

Extremely disgusted. Purchased this vehicle from the establishment for the agreed upon price. Establishment was informed multiple times that the vehicle would be going to a newer driver who would be putting a significant amount of miles onto the vehicle. Nevertheless, was assured that the vehicle was "safe and perfectly fine" to drive those miles in. Conveniently, the establishment never mentioned the fact that the subframe was rotted to the point where the vehicle was a deathtrap. The vehicle was extremely unsafe. This is an extremely shady and untrustworthy business practice and I will definitely no longer be affiliating myself with them or any of their services. Oh and as my refund was being processed and credited they attempted to sell me another vehicle, AFTER the first one was damaged and broken already. Completely disconnected and disappointed in fawzis for this situation. That car should have never been sold to me, and the fact it was sold to me under the guise of "trustworty" and "safe and reliable" is extremely despicable as a business practice. That vehicle was a deathtrap and should've never been sold. It needs to be scrapped / parted out immediately. read more

I went there a few weeks ago and one of the mechanics said that I had a blown head gasket... That was completely FALSE!

I've lived all in a few states, and of all them, Fawzi's is my go-to. I've had 2 cars while living in this area and brought both only to Fawzi's. They always do a great job with the maintenance or the repair, but I've always been able to walk out with enough to still pay my bills. Plus, I've built a rapport with most the guys there, so it's just become a great experience from start to finish to even walk in the door. I'll go there until they give me a reason not to, and in the 3 years I've lived 2 doors up... haven't come across that reason yet. read more

Brought my vehicle for overheating issues. I was told I needed a radiator and water pump. The cost was $ 960.00. I inquired if my vehicle was worth spending the money, it is a 2011 with 180,000 miles. I was told the engine was good. The first radiator they put in was defective and they had to replace it with another one. They informed me my vehicle was all set, the day I picked up the vehicle I was barely able to drive it. Brought my vehicle back, where it sat there for 1.5 days, with no call back. Finally after calling, them, I was told that antifreeze was leaking through my engine, and I had an engine issue. When I asked why they told me my engine was good, there response was they really had to way of knowing. So they basically had me waste $ 960.00. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Just pay the premium price to get ur shit done the right way. We entrusted them too much. Opportunists is a thing in America. We benefited from that deal for a while but started to see the rough game when we were more on our feet. Services rapidly declined for some reason. Any little thing you'd ask them to check out would be a minimum 400. And it truly crossed the line when I was asked to pay and the service was not even done. That was it for me. Would really suggest to just go for a company and nothing local. They are opportunist. Least with a company you pay a premium indeed but ur shit is fixed. read more

They were extremely helpful. I had engine light on and my car had poor running power, shaking, etc....(after having had to pay McGee Chevrolet over $400.00 lost work pay for 2 days, they still could not diagnose what was wrong with my car) Fawzi's Auto diagnosed my car for free, yes FREE unlike car dealer!! Fawzi's repaired my car and the amount they charged was much less than what MCGEE charged me for doing Nothing! Shame on MCGEE Chevrolet, TERRIBLE business!! Thank you so much Fawzi's Auto Repair. I took my car here and would not recommend at all. My car needed a sticker and new tie rod on passenger side. The car was fixed the following morning, but in addition to getting a call and telling me my car was ready. I was called and told my car had been hit. The owner had backed of the business driveway and backed into a car coming down. I'm sure they didn't expect him coming out towards them being a one way down. Accidents happen and I get it, but the shadiness of what he did next got me and didn't find out until a month later when my insurance went up. The owner used my car insurance for the accident he got in. I was told he should've used his business insurance but didn't because his rate would've gone up. So with that being said..This business is just a 1 star in my book. It shows his integrity and character. read more

I appreciate everything that they have done for me, and the owner is wonderful to deal with. It is difficult to find a company that you can trust for car repairs, I have seen some disappointing things over the years. In the case of Fawzi, I brought my 2006 junky car to him for repair, he had given me an approximate price for the flex pipe/CAT repair. The condition of my undercarriage of my old vehicle was horrible and the replacement part was just not right. Fawzi's team took a tremendous amount of time, effort and care to complete the job. It took almost 1.5 hours more than expected to complete the job. I remember thinking, "this is going to be a big bill" (I was actually thinking "holy Crap"). In the end Fawzi gave me the total price, it was more than fair, and I appreciate it! read more

After two positive experiences here last year for state inspections, had an "incident" today that will make me stay far away from this establishment in the future. Brought my Abarth for a simple state inspection (bone stock, one year old, fully dealer maintained), only to be told by the inspector that there "must be something wrong with my exhaust." He "doesn't know much about Italian cars but this one sounds too loud." He "doesn't want to fail the car but needs to check out what's wrong and see what's missing or leaking." The inspector then proceeds to jack up the car in an inappropriate spot, at which point I stop him to avoid damage to a nearly new, fully maintained vehicle. Inspector's reaction is "he's just doing his job." Really? You just told me you don't know much about Italian cars, but yet you're certain my car can't be "stock" and I must have manipulated the exhaust? Net, net: not certain if he was looking to angle for an unnecessary repair job to "pad the bill" or was just truly incompetent, but either way I am no longer a fan of Fawzi's. Needless to say, the car passed inspection with flying colors at a nearby station later the same day. read more

I usually don't have a bad experience there, but my father brought his car in the same day i brought one of mine in and they made it worse. The problem wasn't fixed which was a valve cover, then they told him he needed a new engine after charging him $200. Took it somewhere else where they actually fixed and seen how bad they butchered the job. Putting sealer around something you broke isn't fixing it. Im very disappointed they couldn't admit their mistake and fix it. Maybe a new inexperienced employee?! Idk but very disappointed. My father had to pay twice for something they could've easily fixed. read more

I thought highly of this place after having a positive experience with my previous car. I recently bought a different car that needed the entire exhaust replaced. I was recommended to Cibao muffler in RI, they quoted me $450 for the entire replacement. I went for a second estimate to Fawzi's because it's closer to home and I had already been there once before..... he quoted me $800!!! Ridiculous. And then proceeded to tell me that he would only charge me $200 to fix my hood that won't close properly, using junk yard parts..... makes sense. Definitely get a few different opinions before going here. read more

Fawzi's auto repair are very honest and hardworking people. As far as state inspection "by law" the inspector must jack the front end of the car to check the boil joint even on new cars "safety issue". read more

I came to FAWZI'S AUTO to get my inspection done. After seeing how nice, funny, and professional the entire crew was, I came back to get work done on my brakes. Once again, the guys at the shop were honest, patient, and explained what they were doing to my car in full. I appreciate how much they cared about my experience and how much they went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with the work they were doing.
