Buyers Beware! I recently had purchased 4 new tires from the Fall River location. At which time the new tires were installed balanced, and the wheels were aligned. Fast forward, I bring the same vehicle to the Fall River Location to take advantage of the complimentary wheel rotation. While there I requested and paid for a synthetic oil change. I asked if I could use apply their online $15 coupon for an oil change. The Front shop person Jon Cabral informed me that he already applied a discount better than the coupon, and discounted my service by $23(e). Fast forward, The so called better discount was them not charging me for the $23(e) complimentary vehicle inspection fee. They recommended that I replace all 4 brake pads and rotors at the cost of about $1,500. The very next day I took my vehicle for a 2nd opinion at my go to garage where I am treated with honesty. They quoted me $800 for a full brake job including replacing all 4 brake pads, and all 4 rotors. When I was called in at the end of the service they asked me if I wanted them to change my oil. I informed them at that point that I had just had the oil changed the day before at Firestone in Fall River. He looked at me with surprise. He informed me that they inspect each vehicle for fluid levels during each service and determined that the oil in my vehicle was obviously old and dirty. They also topped off my other fluids as this was also needed... a service that Firestone was suppose to do according to their website. He showed me the oil and it was indeed dark brown in color and looked dirty. So apparently, I had paid $110 for an oil change with the Fall River Firestone but no such service had taken place. Fall River Firestone charged me for an Oil service that they dishonestly did not perform. I immediately drove to the Fall River Firestone branch. I informed Firestone's Jon Cabral of my experience of just having my brakes replaced by another repair garage and that they offered to change my oil because it was apparently due for a change as the oil appeared old and dirty. Jon's Cabral's immediate response was please give me your keys and we will take care of it right now. I looked at him with surprise and said no thank you. Why would you think I would trust you to do a job that I paid you for yesterday that you did not do. I requested him to just refund the $110 that they had charged me for not changing my oil. He said that he could not do that and that he was not allowed to process refunds. I told him that I was not leaving until he refunded my money. He said that he would need to speak with management. After waiting at the counter for 15 minutes he came back to the front desk to inform me that he had spoken the with manager Jose who informed him that he had observed the oil change and could not offer a refund. I asked how can you not refund me money that you charged me if you didn't actually change my oil. Jon's response was that maybe the oil appears dirty and old because there may be some old oil remaining from within the engine post oil changed. I looked at the receipt and it clearly showed that I was charged for a new oil filter so I asked Jon if they drained the oil because I was charged for a filter. I asked so if you drained the oil, and put in fresh new oil, then why would the oil be dirty. His response was can you please come back tomorrow when Jose the manager would be in. I told Jon Cabral that I would not spend another minute of my time to make a 3rd trip to his shop to speak with Manager Jose to request a refund for an oil change that I had already paid for but did not receive on day one. Buyers should be very careful doing business here. The kicker of my experience is that there is a sign above the door that leads to the working garage area that is displayed for customers to see. it is a quote by Firestone's founder Harvey Firestone which reads: "I BELIEVE FUNDAMENTAL HONESTY IS THE KEYSTONE OF BUSINESS" Buyers be aware! Make sure you get what you pay for... better yet, get a second opinion elsewhere. read more

The new manager Joe was in a tight situation after a few guys quit before he was hired/promoted. So I offered to reschedule, but he said give him a few hours and the tires would be installed. They were done an hr sooner than expected! Good work. The tires , btw, were ordered off Simpletire.com and I prepaid and scheduled the installation at Firestone online. Tires were shipped there! I prefer Firestone to Fire and Brimstone, but only slightly. My tire troubles in Massachusetts were getting worse so I dropped into a couple of tire shops to check on prices. The service here is nice and surprisingly speedy (like my friend Gonzalez) but the prices are awful, and it's not the fault of this shop. Honestly, every Firestone seems to be that way. They rarely have the right used tire (if any at all) and they're just way too expensive. My go-to places in Buffalo or in Houston can hook me up way cheaper than this, so I ended up carrying on with a limp and hoping for better in the next state, which I didn't find until Carolina believe it or not. read more

Which I paid for Saturday they never did until this morning Very rude service person on the second visit had it done what I paid for on the first visit and to fix the pressure because I had 42 44 41 24 psi left went down the street had to turn around and go back to fix pressure. They seized my moms engine will never go near another Firestone again. And will not be paying bill either stay away from firestone. cost is to high and they don't do there job like professionals. They did spark plug on my mom car wires were loose and one was broken after a month. took it back and they supposely fixed it still had loose wire but gave it a run on the highway and that's when the engine sized. Stay away from this crooks. And car was leaking oil and they didn't do nothing about that either. read more

Went to get my pads replaced, covered by warranty, and they told me I still had to pay labor. Fine. Then told me the "labor" was almost $300. I paid LESS for labor and pads when I got them through Firestone. 100% rip off and being reported to the state for price gouging. read more

I have always had a great experience with Firestone I've been to the Mansfield location and Leominster that have always been great. About 2 months ago I went to Mansfield to have my headlight bulb replaced and an oil change before they even quoted me a price they looked at the size and placement all together $60 for oil change and bulb. Today I want by the one in Fall River for the same thing just the passenger side, they didn't check the bulb, placement or anything and quoted me $213 for the same services. I politely explained I went to another location for the same services and was charged $60 and was told "well on that side we need to remove the bumper" (which I knew wasn't true. I decided to go else where as I was dumbfounded, the place I went to charged me $30 for bulb and replacement and it was done in five minutes. Now I will not go to this location again seeing there is a trust issue that I will not be given the right info and be overcharged. DO NOT GO HERE!!! LISTEN TO ALL THE BAD REVIEWS THEYRE HEAR TO SCAM YOU!!! If you are HISPANIC DO NOT GO HERE. The common denominator in all these bad reviews are only Hispanic people dealing with it --- you TARGET THAT AUDIENCE. Went Thursday for an oil change, made it clear that I was only here for that and nothing more. The guy proceeded to call my dad and lie saying that I told him to add recommendations to the car that I thought was necessary which is a load of BS... my cars a 2017 and my dad had specifically told them only to check the oil and nothing else. Tell me why my battery is being checked and I'm being told that my battery has "a week of life" left -- now after that appointment, my car is stalling and clicking when trying to turn on, and they completely messed with my steering alignment. Letting go of the wheel completely has my car drift left, not even right when it's going towards the right. I'm appalled that my car was basically messed with and now has problems after bringing this in. That's a real grimy way of trying to get more money from people - messing with things that could potentially cause a real life accident on the highway. Shame on this establishment and don't bother wasting your money here. Go somewhere else where they're HONEST and will fix your car. Nothing but crooks 0/10. Love this place! The guys in this place went above and beyond to make sure I received great service. I had a few issues with my car that needed attention (and got the run around at another place) and they were so knowledgeable and professional and were able to get the job done. The place is absolutely spotless, which you never find in a garage. Each and every guy that worked there at the time was a pleasure to deal with. I don't know what happened in there. I had been taking my cars there since moving down here in '06. And for SIX YEARS all I got was honesty and unending professionalism from the mechanics and the managers. However, the last time I was there in April the guy at the counter gave me some weird story on why he *couldn't* rotate my tires and sighted some esoteric safety reason. Obviously, he was lying and wanted my tires to wear out so he could subsequently sell me four new ones. Very disappointed and had to go to Monro. Sorry, guys. read more

This place is a rip-off. You're better off finding a small locally owned shop run by some trustworthy people. Brought my car in because I was told I needed just a power steering switch after my oil change place noticed it wasn't working properly. Brought it here cause they could take it the soonest out of the other places I called. They gave me an estimate of $2,300 saying I needed an entire new steering rack. Drove my car to another place I trust that wasn't able to look at it for a few more days, but I wanted a second opinion before blowing that much money so I waited it out. Turns out it really did only need a power steering switch which only cost $250 (labor and all)!!!!! My car is running and operating perfectly again. Firestone, stop ripping people off and telling them they need more than they really do. (This isn't the first time my family has experienced this here). Especially when it's thousands of dollars of a difference in price. Oh, they also charged me $20 fee just for opening up my hood and looking at it. Never going back here again. read more

I brought 4 new tires got a flat brang it there to be fixed took almost 5 hours. I called to see if it was done that said they had just finished. When I drove up with my son they were just bringing it in. When I questioned them I got attitude because I did not have an appointment. Really all most 6 hours to fix a flat. Horrible place to service your brakes...Took my sisters CAR to simply put front pads on, costs 159...No big deal, we paid... The brakes were working better before it was changed...Apparently the calipers began lock, and freeze... When the car was brought back, they look at it and tried to say that this is normal...Come on now!...Arent you the professionals who are supposed to inspect SAFETY as well as needed work and advise?..Apparently, you dont do your work and the work they do is unacceptable...They tried to say it needs new calipers, new pads because the ones just replaced had worn, etc...and Tried to charge her 300-400 dollars for work on the car they damaged....Wow...Then, we simply request that we take our car out and get the work done....THEIR RESPONSE WAS " WE WOULD BE LIABLE AND CANT PUT DEFECTED EQUIPMENT ON THE ROAD"....WAIT, IF IT WASNT YOUR FAULT, HOW ARE YOU LIABLE?...WHAT IS IT?...ITS NOT OUR FAULT BUT WE ARE LIABLE IF SOMETHING HAPPENS...RIDICULOUS.... Just today 7/6/16, received an email for the Affinity Touring Tire buy 2 get 2 free... I called local FIRESTONE dealers of which I have been doing business with for over 20 years. None of them have a set of 4. The offer was from July 1st -July 31. In 5 days they ran out of tires? Talk about bait and switch!
