I took my car in that had over 200,000 miles on it because I knew something was terribly wrong. I…read moreneeded them to let me know if it was worth fixing or if it was time to get a new car. They told me it needed a new catalytic converter, new spark plugs, and ignition coils. They convinced me that I was better off fixing it instead of getting a new used car. It ended up costing $4300 so I needed to do one of their finance options which will end up costing $10,000 if I don't pay early. I picked it up when they said it was done and they said "it was running great." I left the lot and it instantly did what it already was doing. In fact it was smoking and burning coolant all of a sudden. The manager told me they screwed up and were going to put in a new engine at no cost because they misdiagnosed and one of the cylinders were shot. Then after I left he told me I would need to pay $3000 for labor. I was upset and then he said they would do it for free but he told me that I shouldn't put in the new engine without a new ERG cooler and gaskets. I agreed to pay $930 for that. When the engine came in I asked if I could see the new and old ERG cooler and gaskets and he became angry and told me they were not going to put those in now. So my engine was running on only 3 cylinders I need a car for my business and my son so I had to sell my (now) junk car for parts at the dealership and had to buy a new car. Now I have a $300 car payment and a $500 payment to pay for Midas' misdiagnosis and fake fix. Ultimately I contacted corporate and the Area Director reached out and said he is going to look into it. He has been ignoring me and hasn't even bothered to talk to me over the phone. Avoid this place at all costs!

They have never once condescended me, even though they'd be valid to!). I recognize the faces there, and they've gone above and beyond, like offering to show me how to check my own oil, offering to check for me free of charge, troubleshooting once when my front hood wouldn't open (yikes), and helping me understand my car's needs myself. I love these guys.

They tell me it will take 1 hour to 2 hours to look at the vehicle. I want to 2 and half hours and realize, they are not going to do my car. I left. They have three guys at a desk. The inability to communicate that they are too overwhelmed with work is a problem. Instead of having these three guys, hire some more mechanics. This isn't just a Sullivan's tire issue, it is a problem wherever you go these days. I long for the days of reliable mechanics that earn your service by taking care of your car in a timely and honest way.

However, over the past two years I have spent close to two thousand dollars in repairs. The last three repairs.... $300+ April , 2025., $600+ November/ 2024 & $700+ August/2024. And yes I'm their defense my car is a 2001 Honda Accord, I am disabled and cannot afford another car at this time. However, if they believed the car has reached its end, why keep almost literally stealing my money. The truth could've saved me thousands. So, six days after my car breaks again l, called to report the problem . The rude phone attendant told me "yeah just have it towed there & it's gonna be about a week!" I stated, "my car was just there six days ago, you had it for a week already, you had it for a week a few months ago as well and I'm not paying for yet another tow!" He told me he could have the car towed on Monday, claimed to write down my address and phone number, that was a week ago today and still no call, no apology, no professionalism, no customer support.
