Found this shop and proceeded to go look for a cake. Went to the address on this Yelp and basically ran around frustrated. This listing also has no phone number beside it having the "old address". I found the phone number, made the call and was given the new location a few minutes away. Id dinlet her know the address was wrong on yelp. We walked with our 8 year old holding his 5 mylar ballons- Super excited! Not a comment from the young girl tending the shop. I mean, making an 8 year old day by saying "Happy Birthday" or anything similar- it would've cost her NOTHING. Sad. They had no cakes- A few cupcakes and cookies. So, Ordered our cupcakes (3) and proceeded with our evening. We bought a Strawberry, a Chocolate Lovers and a White Chocolate w Raspberry. Frosting was hard and honestly and sadly, not very tasty. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. She answered all of our questions that we had about their baked goods. A positive is that they have gluten-free alternatives for those that require that, although there was not much physical separation on the shelf. I ordered a blueberry muffin. It was good, but very dense and heavy. I probably wouldn't order it again, but other people might love it. I think it's a case of matching their baking style with the right customer. My wife ordered a chocolate almond croissant, which was light, flaky and had excellent taste. She said she would definitely order that again. The coffee was hot and freshly pressed. They have a large selection of pastries, and the bagels are positively huge. The other display case has cakes. It's great that you can still get a cake other than from the local market bakeries.
