    Pepperoni pizza

Solid pizza. Would order again if I was in the area. Ordered a medium pepperoni and there was more grease in the box than I'd like but the pizza didn't seem excessively greasy. Also ordered bacon cheese fries. I prefer when places use shredded cheese vs the yellow liquid cheese sauce.

    Inside cheese calzone

Pretty solid pizza place. I was satisfied with what I got from this place, but it wasn't anything special. Just solid, simple pizza and classic pizzeria place food. I tried their plain cheese calzone (a small one). The "small" calzone was not actually small. It was a great portion! Maybe a tad on the expensive side, but nothing too excessive. It was stuffed with a great amount of mozzarella and ricotta cheese (mostly mozzarella). Could have been cooked a tad longer. Maybe a little bit too doughy, especially on the ends and on the perimeter of the calzone. Sauce was a tad acidic. Not bad at all. The calzone came with a side of tomato sauce, which was very watery and not that great. All in all, a good spot. Just solid, nothing really that exceptional. The calzone is alright, but there are better options as well.

Buffalo chicken, great ranch dressing !

Really reccomend this pizza place. Typical Pittsburgh style. We had plain slices as well as the Buffalo chicken. The ranch was really good too. I would definitely reccomend . Very convenient to Childrens hospital too.

    XL pep and broccoli

Wanted to order from a new pizza spot and stumbled on this gem while helping. This spot reminds me of a place I loved growing up... crust is thin and chewy, little pepperonis collect the good grease, and I love when a pizza shop has broccoli. They have homemade ranch to go with their za which is great! Would definitely order from here again!

    BBQ Chicken Pizza

Yummy! My husband & I just moved from The Strip to East Liberty and wanted to try a pizza place close to our new apartment. We drove past Fazio's multiple times while moving boxes and decided on a Sunday lunch from here. Great decision! Easy to order over the phone. Tasty ingredients! Friendly service. The BBQ Chicken pizza was so packed with flavor and toppings. Will definitely get it again!

    Large Pepperoni Pizza

I bought a large pepperoni pizza and garlic breadsticks. The breadsticks were $8 and the pizza was $14 + $2.50 for the pepperoni. The total was $26, which was too much. The large pizza really isn't too large at all and pieces are thin. The breadsticks have some kind of unusual flavoring on them that kind of tastes like vinegar. They are still edible, just not the best I have had, especially for the price. I will not be going back. Just too expensive for what you are given. Wish them the best of luck though.

    Only spinach...yeah, buddy.

Never had an issue with delivery time, though I tend to order on the early side, 6pm. Pizza is good but very salty.

Our favorite is the Drunk Meatball: that homemade vodka pizza sauce, and their homemade meatballs, along with the rosettes of ricotta cheese is amazing. Lupo has a wonderful char to the crust and the undercarriage is slightly crispy. The second favorite is the 10th Ward pizza: the combination of meats, peppers, and ricotta makes it amazing. The challenge we have had with Lupo there isn't a place it eat inside, and it takes 20 mins for us to get home, so we have lost some of the warmth and the crust isn't quite as crispy; enter Coven Brewing. We go to Coven and get a beer, we have placed our order with Lupo and we will walk down, get our pizza, walk back and demolish it. Coven has some great beer, especially if you like IPAs; Lupo has Pittsburgh's best pizza; I cannot think of a better pairing. The service at Pizza Lupo is great, they are kind even when their phone is ringing off the hook. Our last time I was getting busy signals because calls were coming in so fast. Somehow they maintain the ability to get a pie out the door in under an hour. When we go there, there are boxes stacked high and they have a steady stream of people entering and leaving, never do I hear a complaint.

I tried a black cherry ale that was delicious. My husband got a Vienna lager he enjoyed. He got the black and gold pizza with potatoes, garlic sauce, pepper, res onion parmesan, and provolone. It is fired in their brick oven with a crispy crust. He enjoyed it but it was a little over done and it was hard to distinguish the toppings as the char was heavy. I got the carbonara. It was definitely not traditional. The sauce was very thick and almost floury. They serve it with pork belly, which does not give the same punch of flavor to cut through the sauce as guanchali or bacon. The papardelle noodle were dry and clumpy. The dish was very heavy. Do not recommend. The place is chill. It is close to the theater. I might try it again if in the area.
