I came in to have an I-9 form notarized, for a job I'm relocating for. The staff person who notarized it blatantly lied to my face and said the seal wasn't necessary on this document, there is no place to put his seal, and that he's signed these forms numerous times today without a seal. I spent $40 having these documents fedexed to my new employer only to find out that this was FALSE information. Now, the deadline is coming up quickly, I've wasted time and money, and have to go out of my way to return and have these documents notarized again. I don't even know if FB Express will refund me the money. This was a needlessly stressful situation, a big waste of my time and money, and I don't recommend anyone use this company for notary services. read more

Forgot to check the dates on our passports and had tickets to travel abroad in just 7 days! Went to the Federal building and told to come back later. As I feared, the owner of the business did use the info he had recorded to call me up and raise his voice again to me. We disagreed about the error in the document - okay by me. We can agree to disagree. He asked me to remove my review. I stated that I was not incorrect that he raised his voice at me, even after I paid him, and I had to run out of there as I simply do not care to be spoken to so unprofessionally in a business transaction. His voice went louder and louder. I had to hang up and my ears were ringing! All he needed to do was apologize for losing his temper. We're all human. I mean, I gave him the money he asked for. I know that we will never see eye to eye. It's water under the bridge to me, and a lesson to me to double check my own paperwork. I hope the owner takes this review to heart. It's just bad business to yell at a customer who has handed you money, and is not yelling back at you, and has not insulted you. Just say that you understand that an error is made, you get what they are saying, but, you can't change the rule. Better yet, tell the customer that they will be charged again, BEFORE the transaction has happened, and let the customer choose how to move forward.
