She chose a pair of Irish Setter boots that felt great in the store, but after wearing them around the house for a while, they started to feel too narrow. When we called, the associate told us to bring them back and explained our options: we could try the next wider size or have the boots professionally stretched. After trying on the wider pair, my daughter decided to have the original boots stretched instead. She wore them on a hiking trip shortly afterward and found them to be very comfortable. Which, of course, led me to think the interior would be so as well. So, I really had no intention of ever stopping. But, then, ever on the hunt for awesome craft beer, I stumbled across the Explorium Brew Pub on Yelp. Local craft brewery inside a mall? Yes, indeed. Not only do they have some of the best craft brews in the Milwaukee metro, they serve some pretty legit pub grub as well. Then, I was in the area and my son needed an outfit for a school interview. With the incentive of post shopping bites at Explorium, we headed to Southridge and ended up have a lovely shopping experience. The interior of Southridge is surprisingly modern (in comparison with the exterior). The floor we were on was entirely carpeted with what appeared to be newer carpet. It also helped to keep the noise level lower than one finds at most malls. Mall shopping will never be my favorite thing. But, I'm glad to know Southridge is there for when I need it. And, that I'll be able to get a delicious craft beer after shopping. Get to it!

The prices also seemed high, but I'm not sure if they have some sort of discount based on tag color or something. There was a lady making a bunch of noise tossing sporting goods merchandise around as I thought she shopped, but later on I ran across her in another area of the store throwing plastic toys around and realized that she was an employee.
