It sits right along the water with a wonderful view, and while there is paid parking nearby, just park at the nearby park and walk 5 mins over. The restaurant itself is surprisingly spacious, even with a large crowd, and they offer plenty of both interior and exterior seating to soak in the scenery. We came specifically for their happy hour, which runs from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We ordered the beef pho pillows, crab and pork rolls, and the wagyu beef salad. Every dish was really good, but I would highly recommend the beef pho pillows as they were amazing in terms of quality. The service was also impressive, especially given how busy they were, with our server continuing to check on us multiple times throughout the meal to make sure we were well taken care of. Overall, it is a fantastic waterfront spot and definitely worth visiting!

When I walked up to the restaurant and saw the lakeside, upscale vibe, I had a feeling this wasn't going to be a cheap or particularly authentic spot. The $1 oysters weren't happening, but I wasn't leaving without oysters. The ones I ordered were fresh and good. I also ordered the bun bo Hue. It was tasty, but a little too sweet. Bun bo Hue should have some heat and spice, and I was missing that here. The cocktail I ordered was were refreshing and flavorful.

The establishment is family owned and I could tell that the owners are very involved and interactive with customers. Service was good, you stand to order and pay at the front then grab a number and sit at any open table. They also have takeout as an option. This was my first time having real teriyaki chicken and it did not disappoint! I got the spicy crispy combo with pico and rice (chicken katsu and spicy teriyaki chicken). Lots of food for a good price! I would rate my meal a 10/10! I have nothing bad to say about it and I think it's perfect just the way it is. If you need a quick hearty meal with veggies and protein, this Ta Joia is the place to go!

They helped me decide and recommended the spicy chicken with coriander sauce, which I grabbed to go. The chicken itself was super tender and juicy, but it leaned a bit dry, so I'd 100% suggest getting for extra coriander sauce and pico to make it saucier. I'll definitely be getting this again! This spot might become my new go to.

Food here is always solid! Good flavors and creative dishes and portions are great! I haven't tried everything on the menu as I'm the type to find something I like and stick to it, but everything I've tried here is definitely a hit. The cocktails are worth noting to be handcrafted so if you like a good drink, you're in the right place. Service was excellent and quick even with how busy they were. They also offered a seasonal limited dessert menu item that I'm looking forward to trying to next time I'm here. Definitely check this pace out if you're looking for some great Asian cuisine.

For it being less than half an hour before closing, it was packed inside, with two sections of seating for various group sizes, and a casually loud interior with a counter full of water jugs and glass cups in front of a nice plant backdrop with the name of this place in lights. Menu serves a ton of Asian fusion dishes along with some regular entrees and a ton of cocktails and wine. From my sis's recommendation when she went, I got myself the banh mi smash burger after deciding between that and the Pho-rench dip my brother-in-law had. My friend got himself the La Vong fish sandwich, which I didn't get to try though we both did split an order of honey sriracha Brussel sprouts. - For the banh mi smash burger, think of ALL the essential ingredients of a standard banh mi sandwich; then put in a regular beef patty, throw in lemongrass beef as the other meat and add provolone cheese as a complement to the pate-mayo spread. That's what this is in a nutshell, and it tastes exactly like a banh mi sandwich as a result, only in burger form. This was an absolute hit and win for me; beef patty was juicy, condiments were fresh, lemongrass beef was equally as juicy, and the side of fries made this a very filling dish! - I normally don't like Brussel sprouts because of their similar taste profile to asparagus, but I ate a ton of the honey sriracha Brussel sprouts from here. It's sweet and tangy, both of which mask the oddly earthy and bitter tones of regular Brussel sprouts. They're also roasted which further gets rid of that bitter taste I don't enjoy. We rushed a little eating since they were close to closing but we loved everything we got here! I should start keeping a list of places like this one for places I need to make a second and even third visit to for their other dishes.
