Welcome to Garlic Brothers - my favorite garlic restaurant in Stockton. I would say my favorite Italian restaurant - but at Garlic Bro's, it really is all about the garlic. And I love it! Garlic Bro's is a not so hidden local favorite that has become much more popular through the years. It sits right on the Delta for a perfect water-front view for outside dining and those lucky enough to get the huge bay window seating on the inside. I can order a full meal just on the appetizers alone. Ive tried them all. The fried raviolis and the grilled duck wraps (in bacon) are among my favorites. Garlic Bro's has a unique selection of oven baked pizza's but when I come to Garlic Bro's, it's all about the entree's for me. My all-time favorite is the grilled garlic steak. It is the best rib eye steak in Stockton. I order mine blackened (crispy outside) with the brown mushroom gravy that comes in a side dish. For sides, I order the garlic mashed potatoes. They taste creamy good by itself but remember the mushroom brown gravy I ordered for the steak? It's really for my garlic mashed potato's. A perfect combo. Consider this a Pro Tip. My other side is the green death pasta. You have to request it (another Pro Tip). I've tried pesto pasta everywhere and it's only this delicious at Garlic Bro's. The honorable mention is the grilled pork steak. The best pork steak in Stockton. The grilled lamb chops are good - just not as great as the other two entrees....but I'm a very tough critic when it comes to lamb chops. One thing to know at Garlic Bro's is they don't water down the mixed drinks. You definitely get what you pay for. And the price tag is actually pretty reasonable. Garlic Bro's can get very busy so come early for good seats and parking - because they don't take reservations. read more

Garlic brothers is located on the waterfront, with spectacular views. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has many different offerings, something for everyone. Our server was very pleasant; however, she was not very good. She neglected to bring ordered items to the table, and we had to remind her several times. Even after that, one appetizer arrived that was different than what was ordered. Overall, the food was excellent though. read more

Service was not great, long wait for a waiter to come to our table and take our drink order. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't order a sandwich after a certain time. I tried the Hawaiian pizza and it was so bland, there was so much flour on the bottom of the pizza. My husband ordered fish and chips (garlic fries) and it wasn't anything special. Ambiance was nice, you can see the water from our seat. Overall, i would have to say if you're coming for the specials or happy hour this place might be an option. Garlic Brothers is always a solid go-to spot in Stockton, especially if you're craving good food with a view. Everything we had was good overall, and the vibe by the water just makes the whole experience even better. Staying down the street doesn't make it better, I used to come once a week! I ordered the steak, which had great flavor, but it came out a little more cooked than I would've liked but still enjoyable. One thing I always come back for is their half pizza, half salad lunch combo. It never disappoints and is honestly very filling! And the oysters? Hands down my favorite here. So flavorful--I could easily finish three plates by myself lol. Today I behaved and only had two... but no promises for next time even my friend that came last said "damn Amanda!" Looking for a local spot to dine with family and friends for after a College Graduation. Cute location along the delta. Greeted by friendly staff. Not long of a wait to get seated. My family and I decided to each get one dish to share family style. The Calamari appetizer was nicely crisp on the outside and tender pieces of calamari. The Luna chicken was nicely grilled and very tender and juicy. The Barbecue ribs and pesto plate, the tender meat fell off the bone. The creamy pesto pasta was delicious. The salmon bowl had a nicely grilled tender piece of salmon on top of tender rice. The Fish and chips were crispy outside and tender inside. The gumbo had nice spice and flavor. I love Garlic Brothers. It's tucked away on Ben Holt, next to the water. There's so much space indoor and outdoor on the patio. If you sit inside you still have a great view of the water through all the large windows. Right now the place is full of Christmas lights and decor and I love it so much! Whoever was in control of the music playlist was playing all the R&B jams and I love that too lol. The food is so good and such a variety of options. My friend ordered the fried ravioli appetizer and they're so good! If you like garlic, they're packed with flavor. I ordered the pork belly and it was a perfect balance of crunch and melt in your mouth. The service was great. They were very flexible with our group, allowed us to divide the check, and our waitress didn't even add gratuity. Such nice staff. Checkout all the specials. Each weekday has pretty great deals. It has been years since we had been at Garlic Brothers. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to sit by the water. We came here and sat outside on their patio that faces the Delta Waterway. My wife ordered their Fish & Chips with Garlic Fries. It wasn't like other fish & chips. Not really a batter on the fish and my wife said the fish was not flaky. She said it was ok. I ordered their Fish Sandwich which was pretty good served on a Chibatta Roll with fries. Our server was attentive and it seems like all of their servers did a good job at their respective tables. Hubby and I did a google search for brunch spots in Stockton & found this place! We missed breakfast by 10 minutes which we were ok with because honestly lunch menu sounded good!! We must've beat the crowd because when we arrived it was empty maybe 3-4 other tables seated but by the time we finished eating it was getting busy. We sat on the back deck for early sunset and got great service from our vibrant server who looked like the little girl on Growing Pains. She served water with lemon without my asking, which was a godsend on a hot day. We had an amazing view of the Delta, like a short getaway. The day's chowder was fresh. Today, I visited them on a clear breezy afternoon to grab lunch. I loved my experience. The ambiance was good as well as the phenomenal delta view; the food and drink were delightful and refreshing, respectively. Similarly, its interior layout was spacious with abundant of natural light. And their staff were affable, attentive and professional especially my server who paid attention to my needs. Their menu features a wide variety of pasta dishes, from classic pasta to more adventurous options like Steak and Stone Oven Pizzas. I tried their Chicken Penne and it was creamy and flavorful, and Garlic Parm Fries was lovely, crunchy and warm. Its dipping sexy sauces (ketchup and sour cream) were good. I could taste the fresh garlic and herbs, making each bite delightful. lol. Parking lot available. Prices were reasonable for this type of restaurant. As I finish paying the bill at the counter, a lovely young white 5'4" woman with light brown hair (prolly a customer) approached from behind just to compliment my 90's retro pants. The Ambiance is super cute, it kind of has a Tahoe during the summer feel to it if you sit on the Patio by the water it is very nice! Our server Brandon was extremely sweet, on top of it and prompt!! Amazing service. The host also ran out a debit card we left so that was above and beyond thoughtful. The food we got the crunch shrimp with peanut sauce as an app. Sauce was good but a tad spicy. We got the salmon with polenta and garlic mashed potatoes (this place is said to put a lot of garlic in so they certainly have my vote) the salmon was good the polenta could have had a little more salt but it was still yummy. The salad was a steak mixed green one with lots of veggies and it's delicious! I will definitely get something with their steak next time it was cooked to perfection! 10/10!!! read more

Great atmosphere, and environment. Love the patio which was full and wait on a warm 86 degree day, so opted to sit inside next to the window with a great view of Fourteen Mile Slough. Watch boats and jet skis fly by! Started with the Atomic Balls appetizer. Was good. Not spicy like I was expecting it to be. Needed more seasoning in the Mac and cheese, but had flavor and was a great crunch. I'm a spicy type dude, but not everyone loves my heat tolerance. All good. Sweet sautéed bell peppers and jalapeños give it a great touch. Main course was very delicious! The Addiction. Pork belly fried with white rice with green onions. It was hard to decide whether to give Garlic Brothers a three or four star review, but I decided on four stars...The location, views and ambience are definitely a four or five star. The location is right on the Delta with views of the Marina harbor and an RV park and yacht club across the way. The outdoor patio is beautiful, especially on a beautiful sunny day. Even the inside is a fun atmosphere with nice lighted decorations. Service was good. We were seated pretty quickly on a Friday night for our group of five people. Food was ok, it was pretty good, but I was not wowed by anything. I ordered the Italian Hero pizza and wasn't quite sure how I felt about it. The sausage on the pizza was large diagonal slices of a large sausage link and you have to really love garlic to order this pizza. Just about every bite was filled with a giant piece of a roasted garlic clove. I love garlic, but it was almost too much garlic for me. We also ordered some garlic fries, which tasted pretty generic and the kind that you would get at any restaurant. Others in our party ordered the pasta which looked like it was a fairly good serving. We also ordered the fried raviolis as an appetizer and they were also just ok. I would have preferred that they come with marinara sauce instead of the ranch dressing we were provided. I think that I would return here on a day trip to have lunch for a drink and an appetizer on the patio. I really love it more for the atmosphere than I did the food. read more

We took the boat to Garlic Brothers Restaurant for dinner on a Wednesday night, and it was so much fun! We thought because it was a week night it would be dead, but there were a lot of people, and they had music playing, just a fun atmosphere! Even though it was crowded, we were able to sit immediately. I got the Luna Chick, it was good, but the chicken wasn't spicy like the menu had represented it to be. The beans were INCREDIBLE! Mixed those in with the rice (that also has mango and cilantro in it) and I would have been fine with no chicken on my plate haha. Literally the BEST beans I've ever had lol. My fiancé got the Grilled Pork Steak (Bone-In). I did not try it, but he said it was really good and he ate every last bite! Both our meals are pictured below! Overall we had a a wonderful time. The location of this place is great right on the water indoor outdoor seating decorated for Halloween and Christmas it is absolutely beautiful. They have great specials every day of the week there's something to go for! Mondays everything is $16 or under which is awesome I got a very delicious steak for an unbeatable price! It had been a few years since visiting this establishment and I'm not sure why. We went today and were seated right away which was great because we were a party of 10 and expected a wait without a reservation. Brandon was our server, he was very attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. He made sure our glasses were refilled before we realized we needed a refill. Very good service. Our food came out quickly and everything was so good! I had the garlic steak sandwich with a side salad, my steak was cooked perfectly as I ordered it. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meal. This restaurant has a relaxed comfy ambiance. Music is playing but you can still have a conversation with your table, they have TVs in the bar area. I've been here a few times many moons ago and did not have a pleasant visit. As the food wasn't great. I decided to give it a try again. Recently I went with my best friend and tried their happy hour. We got $2 off an appetizer and they have wells for $4 etc. I was thoroughly impressed with their fast and friendly service! My best friend roster the lightly fried calamari and subbed her side for garlic fries and brussel sprouts. I ordered fish and chips. But wanted to add garlic to my chips. Wow. I hate that I gave my business to an establishment that is fine with animal abuse, never again. Tiny tank in the front with 2 goldfish. No filter, glaring lights, plastic plants and straws with no cover placed in a high traffic area thats filled with loud noise and vibrations. Just despicable treatment of living beings that experience fear, pain, and discomfort. Those poor fish are going to be poisoned to death by their own feces just to be used as props. I pray they don't do water changes with untreated tap water, if they do water changes at all. The food was good but expensive. Took them over 30 min for garlic bread. Took even longer for entrees. The wait staff were walking around asking people what they ordered. They came to refill waters one time during the almost 2 hours we were there. Tables were clean. Came here to celebrate my SIL bday. We were a group of 12. We were seated pretty fast but we got there as they were opening. Service was amazing. Our server was friendly and attentive the whole time. Never had to call him over for anything. We were constantly checked on and he made sure we had everything we needed. Wish I got his name but was hard with all the chaos. Service was also prompt. Didn't have to wait long for our food considering the amount of people we had. I ordered the Margherita pizza and side salad. The pizza was yummy. Starting with the crust which is just how I like mine. Crisp edges but also bread like. Had the right amount of marinara and enough toppings to not make it soggy with a generous amount of mozzarella. It came out nice and hot and so full of flavor. I really enjoyed it. The portion was a lot for me but no complaints here because I had some leftover to bring home to enjoy the following day too. They let me bring in a cake that I made (didn't charge extra) which they kept in their fridge until we were ready for it. When they brought it out they added a sparkler on it and a group of them came to sing along with us. Overall a wonderful experience. Awesome little restaurant hidden on the delta. We stop here often during boat season. The workers are always friendly and the food selection is great. The wonton pizza is fire and they carry whiteclaws. During peak summer boat parking can get a little crazy. I have to say they have the best food on the delta. read more

He was very friendly and helpful also. The food here is delicious! I had the pesto and ribs! I love their pesto and highly recommend it! Do yourself a favor and try it! You won't be disappointed! The ambiance here is extremely casual with amazing views of the Delta waters, sunsets, and the marina. We went here for the second time in the last year and both times were equally wonderful experiences. I am not sure how I didn't write a Yelp review last time but made sure I did this time! Loved it. This was our first visit to Garlic Brothers. We arrived boat. We ate inside. Our server was quite pleasant and helpful. Our table of 4 shared the Artichoke Dip appetizer. It was hot and tasty. Three of us had Mai Tais and they were sweet and tasty. My wife and I shared the Grilled Garlic Steak sandwich with Garlic Fries. Wow - really tasty. And garlicky!! I had to laugh at some of the not so nice reviews of the Garlic Brother's. Someone complaining about too much garlic on their pizza...geez, it's in the name "Garlic" Brothers. Garlic Brother's is a nice casual place to grab a bite to eat with family, friends or out on a date. The restaurant sits on the Delta and the sunsets are amazing! The family and I enjoy going to catch some of their great dinner deals! Daily specials: Monday all entrées are $16.00, $2.00 Taco's on Tuesday's, $4.00 spaghetti bowls & garlic bread on Wednesday and Thursday 1/2 off on all pizza's & $11.00 grilled chicken breast with lasagna.
