I've had many packages go missing since moving to the valley all once they get to the Pacoima distribution center. It has been an absolute nightmare. I get a different story every time I call for help and nothing ever gets resolved, it's always time wasted on the phone and waiting on refunds. I've had the worst experience with this location. None of my items were delivered on time. I kept receiving texts saying items will be delivered today, but their tracking system was never accurate and I found out the delivery time has changed for every shipment. I had large furniture that needed to be delivered to my door and I took time off work to be able to stay home and receive the package, but of course the company likes to play games and waste people's time. They also kept taking items back without leaving a notice at my door and then delaying the delivery again. Lazy, incompetent, uncooperative, bullshitters! I've recently moved and had to live in an empty apartment because FedEx failed to deliver any of my furniture. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I wish this wasn't the only delivery option for some online orders. I would never choose them. ***The services at this location are so bad that I had to come back and update this review. After wasting 2 days and making me miss work, these people still didn't deliver my package. I called the customer service line 5 times in one day and each person told me the same thing about how the driver attempted but couldn't deliver my package when I was home all day. The last person said they spoke to the driver and they said they were yelling "FedEx" near the building gate when there's like 20 units over here and they all have their AC on. Plus, my gate doesn't have a code, and all other packages were left either inside the gate or at my doorstep, so these people are just making up excuses. Had a package arrive at the location at 2am, notifying me 30 minutes later that it was out for delivery, then notify me at 3:45pm that it was back at the location and that shipping was delayed until the following day and no reason was given. If I could leave negative stars I would have. After waiting on hold for customer service for 40 minutes, a lady with a heavy Indian accent that was very rude and hard to understand said she couldn't help me and didn't know what was going on with my package. When I asked to talk to supervisor, she said it would be 45 minute wait, I said no problem, she then said I couldn't talk to a supervisor. Never heard of this kind of service. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I have five boxes that need to be sent back to my workplace. I followed the prompts my company provided to me and FedEx said they'd pick everything up Friday. I hauled the five boxes to the porch, and FedEx showed up, but left without taking the boxes. I called the 800 number to ask why and the girl said the driver "must've had a full truck" and left, so she'd just reschedule for Monday. I said, well isn't that a bad experience? How would I have known to call you? Shouldn't he have left a note or something as to why he was unable to pick up? She was silent and instead goes, "I can reschedule for Monday". She gave 0 craps. So I sighed and said fine. Monday came and went, no pickup. I called again. Why didn't you pick this up? Next girl also did not know. She rescheduled for Tuesday. So again I had to haul the boxes back in my house and back out again Tuesday morning. This time they were supposed to be there by 1. I monitored my Ring doorbell to see if they'd come. They didn't. I called the 800 number for the third time and was pretty upset. Why can't ya'll figure this out? The lady got mad that I was upset, and refused to talk to me until I had to hang up on her since she wouldn't speak/communicate with me. (and no I was not abusive) So I had to call again the fourth time. The next guy I spoke with about it didn't know, he'll get all my details and get FedEx to pick it up. Then the FedEx guy calls me and says the reason I can't pick this up is because they scheduled this for Express pickup and the label is for Ground. I can't even scan this. So I call the 800 number again (fifth time). Please pick up the package, for Ground this time. Oh we have to have the tracking number to do that - do you have it? No, - I'm at work. The package is at home. I'll have to call you back (again). I get home. Call them a sixth time. Here's' the tracking number. Oh, this is for Ground? Yeah, that'll have to be for tomorrow. We can only do Ground the next day. Isn't there anything you can do? I say. You've messed this pickup quite a few times now and at some point I ought to be compensated for my time here dragging boxes in and out and constantly calling you. No. Must be next day for Ground pickup. Oh great. I wonder what time I should call them again tomorrow. read more

So I'd posted a review earlier which is now being completely edited. Fedex delivered the package but to the wrong place. The neighbor was kind enough to hand deliver it to my recipient. Catastrophe averted! My advice to anyone using Fedex still remains the same. ALWAYS send your package with Delivery Confirmation AND Signature Required. I've been having the same problems other reviewers mentioned. Delivery guys can't seem to deliver my package even when I left instructions on how to get in to the apartment building. Furthermore, they don't bother to attempt to redeliver my package. So I have to go all the way to the location to pick it up which is ridiculous. What drives me even more crazy is the fact that customer service says that Fed EX delivery guys aren't allowed to call the customer. I think a lot of the 1 Star reviews are 100% accurate about this facility. They seriously make USPS look good. And that's saying a lot. The incompetence of this location and it's drivers is mind blowing. I was supposed to get a couch delivered yesterday. They left a note on the mailbox stating we weren't home even though we were. Then this morning we get a delivery time frame between 1 and 5. So I called from work to tell them to just drop it off at the door since it doesn't require a signature. I got a delivery failed email at 12:30. So now I'm heated. This is just some lazy a#%#}|\ driver that doesn't feel like carrying a 100lb box to a second floor. So I called again, this time I'm LIVID, and requested they go back and do their job. I even told them to leave it in the lobby and my skinny pretty self can carry it upstairs, you know, do their job for them. Nope! They said tomorrow which I'm completely unavailable for. So then I ask them to hold it. They close at 7pm and I get off work at 6:30. So they have essentially kept my sofa hostage because there is absolutely no way for me to get it. The unprofessionalism of this company as a whole, and specially this location is absolutely disgusting. Amazon needs to call you guys and show you how it's done. I was at home all day and no driver came to deliver the package due to arrive that day. When I checked online it said they attempted delivery and that I wasn't home. They didn't even leave a door tag. My package doesn't require signature release. I believe they lied about the delivery attempt. WORST SHIPPING SERVICE EVER. They shouldn't even receive any stars. I never waste my time writing reviews, but this has been by far the WORST shipment experience ever. I ordered a package 1 week ago and it was suppose to be shipped out earlier this week. They put a door tag on my apartment complex gate saying it was the wrong address. I called in to give them the correct Apartment # and they said they will redeliver the next day. But the next day, they did the same thing...So I called again to tell them to enter the correct Apt # and they said they would try again the next day. Well guess what? The guy decides to put a door tag right next to yesterday's door tag (which I wrote on and said please call this phone #). Now I have to wait till next week to get my package. Oh and my package is a bed...SO I will be sleeping on the ground because this company was not able to correctly enter in the correct address that I had given to them numerous times. read more

The folks at the ship center when picking up are great. However, delivery drivers are not good when it comes to delivering packages (at least to condo complexes) Not sure if it's the inconvenience of parking or laziness. But they never deliver. They didn't even page our unit to gain access to the complex. Clearly he didn't bother and simply skipped my delivery and i end up having to pick up the package from the ship center. I call in every time and they give me the same BS and brush it off so you probably shouldn't bother unless you're serious about filing a complaint or want to raise serious hell. I'm going to leave review for every time it happens. I'm surprised there's only 17 reviews (as of 4/17/19) but i'm pretty sure they had some removed (guess we'll keep count of unless this one is removed eh?). I'm guessing the delivery guys have a quota to on how many "attempts" they have to make in a day which is why everyone has this issue. Anyhow here's another person who should've received their package but didn't get it. Now I get to wait until tomorrow to guess if I have to potentially pick it up. Last check of the door I discovered a door tag stating they showed up and nobody was home. Another delivery attempt will be made. Really? I stayed home all day for you morons to not ring the doorbell and assume nobody was home after you gently knocked the door? I am so angry. THEY messed up three times and made no offer to fix it any time. Constant "delivery exceptions" and all they do is say, "Sorry, we will try again tomorrow." I had to ask to upgrade shipping to an expedited version that ships Saturdays since they already messed up TWICE. That should have been immediately offered to me since they were at fault. This location is a JOKE. I moved to a new apartment building 2 months ago that requires a key for entry. Since I have moved in, they do not drop packages at my front door, but they leave a door tag so I either have to go pick it up, or arrange to be home (and miss work) the next day so I can accept the delivery. I called customer service and apparently this location doesn't give their drivers keys for security purposes? WTF? My last apartment was 1 mile away and key entry as well, and I never had a problem with Fedex deliveries. When I went to pick up the last package at the location down the street from me, the guy working there said that doesn't seem right at all. Ive called customer service on 3 different occasions and they offer zero assistance. I'm perplexed as to how a delivery company cant deliver packages. That is literally your entire business. Sat at home all day today 5/15/2019 waiting on my package. My tracking info stated the estimated time of arrival was between 10:30 am- 1:45 pm. I finally called fed ex at 5:00 pm and no one knew where my package was. Called back at 8:15pm and was told it was on the truck for delivery and the driver didn't make it so it would be another 2 days for them to bring my package. First they said they attempted to deliver my package but couldn't get in my building even though it clearly states that you can page the manager to get let in. When they tried again the next day it said "delivered " but never arrived and after waiting 3 days to "contact the driver" it turns out he "lost" the package. This location is not closed, they probably just closed their Yelp review because they're so horrible! An overnight package to be delivered on Friday gets held over the weekend to be picked up Monday! When you call them, all you get are lame reps that are trained to repeat "Im sorry sir". When you ask the rep a question like can you leave a message so if someone is at the location I can go pick it up, he repeats "I'm sorry sir", which gets even more frustrating because I don't think they even understand my question. Often, you only read bad reviews about delivery companies however I was pretty impressed by what the staff at this location did for me. I had purchased an item on EBay to use in a project that I was scheduled to install on the following weekend. The seller missed their guaranteed delivery date and the package was scheduled to be delivered on a day when the electric was due to be off the day for for maintenance by So Cal Edison. I thought I would fix this by using my Fedex account Manage Delivery feature to have the package delivered to a local Fedex office. The package arrived in CA from FL on Thursday for its original scheduled delivery on Friday however when Fedex processed the re-delivery request, the delivery date was moved to Monday (too late). I called Fedex and they confirmed that I could not change the delivery address again or pick the package up from the Branford location (where I could see it had arrived on Friday morning from City of Industry). Throwing caution to the wind, I decided to take a 55 mile trip out to see if I could get the item. This location is basically a series of large warehouse buildings where Fedex packages are sorted for local distribution. I checked in at security and gave them my tracking number and they called it through to another department to check the package was there. After confirming this, they asked me to wait in a small office by security and about 15 minutes later, an employee showed up with my Fedex Ground package. Given that I was told that I couldn't collect the package from this location, and their warehouses span about 3 football fields, I was astonished that they were able to find my package and hand it over. I give Fedex 5 stars for going the extra mile so that I was able to get the project completed on schedule on Saturday (no thanks to the clown EBay seller!). read more

Terrible Delivery Experience FedEx delivery service is really scraping the bottom these days. I had a delivery scheduled for a Thursday which became Friday, then became Saturday. I received constant misinformation on the location of the package; the email and text updates were incorrect for 2 days. I called customer support 4 times. After hours support is located in Central America (very courteous). The bottom line is know one really knew where the package was, supposedly it was sitting at the FedEx Ground Center in Pacoima, CA. On a whim I called the Walgreens location where it should have gone on Thursday, they informed me that the package was there and I was able to pick it up. To make a long story short a lot of stress and a bad review could have been prevented if the FedEx delivery person had properly scanned in the location of the package rather than having the customer search all over town. I will avoid using FedEx whenever possible. Customer service is clearly not a priority for them. read more

FedEx SUCKS!! Please Read The Whole Post!!! I tracked my package this morning at FedEx.com and it said my package has been sitting at their depot in Pacoima since last Thursday. It said on Thursday's post that there was a problem with my "unit number". Then it said it was on the truck out for delivery this morning at 6:00 am. I called them before noon today and told them my address, unit number and phone number. The rep said he would relay the info immediately to the driver and I waited and waited and waited. Then I called back at 5:30 pm and asked where my package was. I was assured that my package would be here by 7:00 pm. So I waited until 6:15 pm, checked the tracking again and it said " EXCEPTION" in big red letters. Now I'm beyond pissed and called FedEx again (I guess the "EX" in "FedEx" stands for "EXCEPTION"). It again said the "EXCEPTION" was because the driver didn't have my unit number in my Townhome facility even though I called them this morning and gave them all the right info along with my phone number. And why did they have the $3,000 dollar item on their truck to begin with today if they still didn't have the corrected information? Lies, Lies and more Lies!!!!! So I told the supervisor to send the package back to the sender if it wasn't delivered by tonight. He said "Let me try to call the depot" so I gave him my phone number and waited on hold for 20 minutes just to hear him tell me that my package could be delivered tomorrow. NO THANKS!!! I sent it back!! Now I will copy and paste this all over the internet. There is a term for people like them...F.I.s...F@#$%^& Idiots!! UPS vs. FedEx = night and day! Even the U.S. Postal Service is by far better than FedEx. Since FedEx wasted 12 hours of my day I figured why not waste another 10 minutes to write this. The reps on the phone laugh when I called them because they have heard this soooooooo much it's apparently funny to them. Not only did I pay for better shipping, but I now have to take time off of work, unpaid, to go to a FedEx center that is 30 minutes from my apartment and pick it up myself. I have 2 FedEx centers way closer to me. I have one within walking distance of my apartment, yet they have to send it to Pacoima. FedEx is the worst, and I will avoid any vendors that use them, because I won't get my merchandise. It seems like my experience with this FedEx location is on par with the majority of others' experiences. Our delivery was 2 days late, which doesn't seem like a huge deal, but it does actually pose a problem if package theft is a problem in your neighborhood and you're trying to plan on being home to receive the delivery. We knew our item was large and heavy, so we left the walk through gate unlocked for the FedEx driver. He, very thoughtfully, opened the unlocked gate and left our delivery in plain sight, right at the gate. He did not bring it to the front steps, or the front door - he didn't even push the item off to the side allowing some coverage from public view. In the picture I've uploaded, you can see that just a few feet to the side of the package, there is a black screen covering the larger gate. Might that have been a better alternative? The item is well protected - he could've even used his feet to push it over. read more
