Aside from the delivery problems mentioned by so many others so I won't repeat them, the LATEST bad experience is that - no matter WHAT "key words" you use, you will NOT get a customer service representative on the phone. NEVER! I missed a delivery on Monday, because my steps had some work done and were not dry, so FEDEX had no access. Fair enough. I drove to FEDEX to pick it up. Not there. Why? No answer. Tuesday morning, I went to FEDEX.com and entered the door tag number. It showed the package status as "out for delivery," from the same location I went to, in person. Go figure. Fine. I stayed home. When no package arrived by 6pm, I went to FEDEX.com again. This time, "invalid door tag number." What? At 6:15pm, I went to FEDEX.com again, and this time the door tag number yielded the message that the package was delivered on Monday!! Time to call FEDEX. THREE TIMES!! Each time, I tried a different word combination that included the word "representative." Each time, the robo voice told me that I WILL NOT be connected to a representative. And then disconnected the call. This is customer service??? What about people who don't know how to use the online system? What about the elderly? Those who don't own a computer? Or, someone like me, who DOES know how to use the system, but is getting contradictory answers, each time? I HATE FEDEX!! read more

FedEx drivers are idiots. They have the correct address for my package but went to the wrong apartment. Fortunately that resident was not home but the driver left a delivery notice on that door. I only found out about it because I tracked the package. There was a photo of a delivery notice on the door of apartment A, but (1) there was no delivery notice on my door, (2) this building has an apartment A on every floor, so that means the driver went to an apartment A on the wrong floor, and (3) most frustrating of all, is that there is no way to lodge a complaint and when I did talk a customer representative she didn't seem able to comprehend what the problem was - she thought I wanted to provide a different address-and kept repeating the wrong apartment number back to me saying the correct floor then "a" as in apple, and left it has that, so I'm left wondering if she even understood HOW the apartment number should be written. You can't even call the FedEx receiving/warehouse hub for this area and let them know a serious delivery mistake was made. I say serious because the item is over $800 and requires a signature upon delivery. All I can is hope the next driver is a bit smarter and aware of what floor he's on on the next attempt. read more

Waiting for a package from Spectrum for something I didn't order so I can return it and not get charged. I'm retired and am home ALL day due to a cold and on both days got a phone message that delivery was attempted when I was home. Never got a call on my phone from the intercom and they never left a notice there saying they tried. A USPS guy was filing mail in our apt mailboxes and said the guy just tried the security gate and left, never trying to use the intercom. Why do they hire people who can't figure out how to open a damed door? We've had an intercom for the 30yrs I've been here and FedEx is the worst when it comes to deliveries. Not all of FedEx are bad (some have no problem opening a door) but the ones who can't open a door are the rest from FedEx and DHL. read more

FedEx ground is horrible. Every time I have a package that is supposed to be delivered on a certain day between a certain time, it is always delayed the day of delivery. Twice I have had updates stating my package arrived early and was on the truck for delivery only to have it go back to the facility to be rescheduled. A package that was supposed to be delivered the 29th of November, scheduled for that delivery over a week ago, was just updated to be in Chino. Instead of out for delivery. I would just pay the bit extra to go UPS or USPS. Whomever is running the FedEx facilities needs to be fired and bring in an operations manager that actually knows how to run a logistics company. Or being that they are such a terrible company at actually delivering, one of the other companies should just acquire them and get rid of all their mid and upper level management. Maybe then they might be able to deliver a package on time. I would give them a zero star rating if I could. It is ridiculously sad that vendors use them. I know I cannot be the only person that they are unable to meet their own delivery dates. How hard is it to deliver packages? We wonder why so many stores are folding, it is because they cannot get products delivered. Amazon on the other hand is able to deliver same or next day. Maybe Amazon should just acquire FedEx and turn it into Amazon shipping. Might actually get products to your door. Especially considering they can have stuff from across the USA at your door in two days and it doesn't cost an extra 200 dollars to make it happen. read more

Wow. Hows this one? Was expecting a delivery yesterday. Driver said he delivered and there is a RING doorbell that starts recording even when its windy. Guess Wha??? Yesterday's log (Sunday) shows no video...We have video from Saturday, and Video from today Monday of family and friends but no FED EX driver or anyone on Sunday. I'm not going to this Fed Ex location because of what has been written here on YELP. I have called FED EX and sent in a video log of SAT,SUN, and Mon....Im elderly and its a good thing my meds were not in the package. Amazon and it's delivery service providers make you look like amateurs. They all carry cell phones and are able to communicate with the people they deliver to. This helps since the call box to my apartment is broken. Called their customer service to get updates on a package more than once and each time they gave me a different delivery DAY. They also said that they would try to give me a phone call but couldnt promise to do so. So, I guess I'm supposed to sit in my apartment lobby and wait to see the fed ex guy pull up to my building. I can't believe that this company is so technologically impaired. Amazon does not give us these types of headaches. This facility has someone stealing packages. In the past 6 months, 3 of my items never arrived with an "oh well" attitude from this place. FedEx Customer Service does not have anyone who has a clue either, since in the past 2 weeks of filing a missing package report, I have spoken to almost 20 individuals who each had a different answer who pass me to someone else who has a different answer. I will NEVER do business with these people willingly, and always ask companies to use a different delivery service since somehow, my packages always get tracked to the Sun Valey FedEx location and never make it out. My valuable package made it from the east coast and was on a truck for delivery 12/3. It was reported delayed due to weather after arriving??? I was given an updated delivery date of 12/8. The package was marked as delayed again and the new delivery date was 12/13. On the 12/13 it was updated again to 12/14. On 12/13 I called in and was told to reach out again if the package was not delivered by 12/15. At this point the package was marked unable to be delivered due to having multiple labels. The package was scanned and marked as on a truck for delivery every day from 12/3-12/15. I called again on 12/15 and they said they requested a new label to be created and to call back in 12/17 if there were no notes indicating a new label had been created. I call in today and there are no new scan for 2 days and now they cannot locate my package. This was a high value item that apparently was stolen and possibly some other fraudulent behavior. Try to schedule the shipment for pickup maybe then they won't steal your stuff. read more

Fedex mis-delivered my package. They claim it has been delivered at 10:53am on 10/18/20. I have a video from my ring door bell showing him running past my door and going else where. I have called Fedex a minimum of 6 times and all they can say is , "We are sorry". Fedex has an I don't care attitude. Anyone in the Canoga Park, CA area, beware. Extremely disappointed in this locations way of handling my lost package. I was sitting in my living room waiting for my package because it was important. I got the text alert saying it just delivered. Went out front to see and no truck and no delivery. After contacting fedex and waiting a few days they finally told me the driver said he left it outside the gate by the street next to a house with palm trees. Who does that!?! I had my driveway gate and pathway gate wide open for this delivery and was waiting for it and the driver left my package outside the gate by the street. Completely unprofessional. Maybe if these drivers would get off the phone or stop listening to music and pay attention to what they are doing, maybe these lost packages would be less. I am going to be reporting every delivery person I see talking on the phone as they deliver my packed or with their music headphones on. I'm tired of getting my packages dropped at the wrong house. If I could give no stars I would. I have had multiple packages stolen from this location. They mark the boxes with hearts when they know it has valuable items that can be stolen. I have had 2 boxes ordered months apart marked with a heart and one was stolen and the other one had holes in the box because they didn't want to steal my baby's stroller. They did steal something worth over $500 and delivered an empty box to my door. The drivers and workers at this location are scum robbers who constantly delay deliveries. Very unhappy with FEDEX. They delivered my package to the wrong house and they are making me jump through hoops. When i told them i haven't recieced my package even though online it said that it had arrived i called them and told them them that i havent received anything from them so they sent the driver to my house to "track his step" and i also asked to speak with him too...anyways when the driver came I received no notifications that he was there but luckily I was out side and when i went to talk to him he took off in his truck as I was yelling at him to stop...finally after I caught up to him he was being extremely rude to me. Worst fed ex facility out on SoCal. I live in Glendale and my package was supposed to deliver on Saturday never did. The driver left the facility to deliver my prototype item I needed to pitch for my company on Monday. Its currently 10:21pm I have yet to recover my item. Customer service game me the fake run around constantly lying.They don't have the adequate information to find out where the driver was. Been calling the location for 2 days during open hours and they do not answer the phone. The call just hangs up after ringing for minutes. They did not deliver a package that the company claims representatives say is a "no signature required" so the call center has no idea why they did not deliver it because it shows them no signature is required but online is shows me they did not deliver it because signature was required.
