After a failed attempt to get a high resolution scan at another location, I went to the counter to ask if getting a higher resolution copy of my passport was possible. The very young girl that I got to engage with was really annoyed with me, even proceeded to roll her eyes and be put out. I am an extremely easy and kind person to engage with so this was a bit perplexing. She proceeded to look at my problem scan from another location (blurry as all get out) and she says, looks fine to me. So... I had to find my own path forward on how to resolve my issue. Thankfully after some fumbling around with their copiers/scanners I got what I needed. Even though she said I would get the same outcome there too. The other two people working that day seemed to be helpful with others, the girl I got definitely hates her job. I am hopeful the other people working are more helpful. If there is a next time, I will ask for someone else. To end on a good note, they have excellent scanners/printers for high quality scans, just change the dpi. And you get to review the scan before paying, unlike the original office scanning place I went. Score! read more

I walked in to drop off some documents for shipping, and I was immediately greeted, but not with any sort of positive emotion. I almost felt like I was annoying the employees by walking into FedEx. As I was preparing my package, another man came in, and he was greeted the same way. Perhaps the guy at the counter just talks that way, but it's not inviting and you feel almost afraid to ask for anything. As I was done preparing my package for shipping, the girl at the counter helped me, but she had the same emotion, like she didn't want to be there, and it felt like employee morale is just really low here. read more

Came in to an empty store at 6:30 PM and one employee telling me they hadn't gotten to it yet, nor could she tell me when it would be ready. I don't know why I keep trying to give them my business. I came here to get some assistance with a small project. Apparently the assistant manager helping me was giving me way too much customer service, as the store manager came over to assist her, and also to tell her 'don't spend too much time on that' (meaning the project I came in to get assistance with). Part way through I was told by the store manager that I would hafta be charged $7.50 if they alter my document (i.e. do any further work on my project). I had to call my bank to make sure I could cover such a massive cost. Luckily I had enough pennies in my bank account to cover the price for proper customer sevice (paying for work retained on a customers thumb drive seems to be a malleable company policy, not a holy mandate from God Himself). I'm not sure if I stepped into some bullshit between the store manager and the assistant manager, or if the store manager thought I didn't have any money, or thought I was trying to get some sort of a freebie, but I can assure you I didn't like it. The shittiness was palpable, and I almost took my things and left. The asst mgr was trying her best to help me, and she eventually completed the job. Next I needed to use the large cutter. I have never used the slide cutter they have, just the chopping one we all used in high school. I was having trouble figuring it out, but I sure as hell wasn't going to ask for help, no way Jose. I had already spent my small allotment of Fedex/Kinkos customer service time, and I didn't want to pay a second bank-breaking amount to have someone show me how to cut paper. Don't go here. This place. Let me tell you..... do you have to have a bad attitude, a bad haircut, and a bad piercing in order to work here? These people are terrible. Read the other reviews, there is a common theme about this place. Terrible customer service and girls with terrible attitudes. Some of the most unfriendly people I have ever done business with. Fortunately enough for everybody, we have other choices! The UPS store is 1.55 miles away and is filled with people that are happy, and ready to do business with you. This place is filled with people that don't wanna work there. I didn't choose your career path for you. I didn't ask you to drop out of high school and work for minimum wage taking boxes off the counter and putting them behind you. That's not my problem. If you don't wanna work there then quit and stop being such a jerk to everybody. You wanna have a bad haircut and be a mask Nazi, then be my guest. Do you wanna have weird face piercings and make questionable life choices? Go right ahead. But maybe choose a different career where you not interfacing with other people with your salty attitude. Maybe a career washing cars? Or dishes? Or clothes? The person that really should be reading this is the person that hired these people. I used their services several months ago to copy and enlarge a pattern. They walked me through the process and were very helpful. Today when I went in they were two busy to help me. It made me feel that they either didn't want my business or to be bothered. That's ok I went elsewhere and got the job done just as good and cheaper. They lost my business for now. read more

I really like this place! It is clean, organized and well-thought-out. Whether you are sending in your order via email or going in to get a few copies made things are easy to use and functional. Another super useful feature of the store is their office area. They have computers that you can rent if needed but also an area where you can cut your papers, staple and organize your documents. Just like the others my experience was great for everything except the service. The complaints have been with the males in the past but I worked with a female and still got the same problems. Sadly the place is professional looking but the workers are rude, no body likes to feel talked down to. My experience goes like this... I came in for a simple printing and laminating of a document, I gave her the flash drive and she insisted It's cheaper if I go to their "work'" stations and print it out myself. What she didn't tell me is the computer is .40 per minute, to print is $1.06 and she was very stern she does no editing. She also did my absolute pet peave of customer service and that was POINT to the area instead of walking me over to see it all ran smoothly. (They had no other customers and 2 other guys in the store) One good thing that came out of this experience is my document a restaurant menu came out great. She finally showed some customer service when we printed the first copy and it came out crooked, she gave us the second one and laminated it for free. (It was crooked bc the paper in the printer was not right) All in all if you need very little help this is a great place, if you need any kind of service avoid this place because the people are not there to help you sadly. read more

I went in to have a cordless drill shipped to manufacturer for warranty repair. Tool only, no batteries or charger. Pretty small. Manufacturer was paying for shipping, so no big deal. She asked if I would like to buy packaging to ship it in, I says depends on how much it costs. She says $13.99. I literally laughed in her face and said I'd be back later with it already packaged. I'm not sure what kind of idiots they're used to dealing with, but I'm not one of them. He explained the different options I had so I could choose the best value, best price. He carried friendly conversation the whole time and showed interest in my project. No stars from me if that were possible. This was the worst experience I've had in a printing shop. The man working was rude and forced us out of the store at close, leaving us without our prints. I then had to drive 20 minutes out of my way to have more problems with their shitty printers and customer service. We then were refunded and given our money back and left to print them elsewhere. We have never had any problems with FedEx Office in Boise until today. The "customer service" rep at the counter did not greet us with a friendly word or a smile, was rude, was dismissive, and spoke so fast that we could not understand what she was saying. I'm kicking myself for not getting her name - it started with an A - which I realize is not helpful. If she was my employee, she would be fired on the spot with no referrals. She was rushing the customer ahead of us - we were having no problem waiting patiently for her to finish - but the employee was clearly in such a hurry to get the store closed and get out the door that she put a great deal of undue pressure on the poor woman. In the end we were unable to complete our transaction because of "A's" inept service. If I go back there and see her face, I will be getting her name and the name of her supervisor. She does not belong in a job where customer service is required. Shame on FedEx for hiring her in the first place. read more

Awesome service. I walked in, distressed because I had no way to print out my resume, and all I had was my usb key. I was greeted by Ryann and he was SO helpful and patient and awesome. All of my needs were met, plus some! I was then able to take my resume, on beige resume paper which he recommended :), to a few places of business that night and apply! I felt so much better after I left there. Shouldn't that be how customer service is ALL the time? read more
