I don't usually write comments, but I want to write about my visit here the other day and give a shoutout to Tony. I was trying to send a package in a cardboard box to a foreign country. The cardboard box was a little large with gaps in it, and I was quoted $1,400 for it. However, Tony understood that this price was unrealistic, so he instructed me to open the cardboard box, removed the air from the clothes inside, and processed the cardboard box to be smaller to fit the compressed clothes. He also gave me detailed instructions on how to issue a discount using an external website (Parcel Monkey), and overall, the shipping cost came down from $1,400 to $200! $200 was below the budget I had in mind, and for Tony to provide so much service to one customer was a service I have never seen in the service industry in this country, let alone FedEx. I thought I needed to drop something positive on here since who else is going to write a positive review of a FedEx? I walked in fully gritting myself against the rudeness that is dealing with people who know more than you on a subject (I.e. any employee who knows the ins and outs of their job) and inflicts haughtiness upon their audience, making them feel dumber than soup. I was pleasantly surprised to be assisted by not one but two employees during my time there. Even though there was nothing they could do to ship my item since my label was expired and we couldn't print it, the second employee gave me a shipping label sleeve and instructions on how to print the label myself, pop it in the sleeve, and drop it at a FedEx dropbox so I wouldn't have to come all the way back to the store. His helpful suggestions included that my office's shipping center might even be able to assist with shipping the box for me. I walked away still frustrated with the company to whom I need to return an item (don't ever buy Rodan & Fields! Their lash boost gave me a stye-- don't you love paying $160 for infections?) but pleasantly surprised with my neighborhood FedEx shipping center. read more

Printing orders have many options (e.g., paper weight, color, binding, etc.). The website was designed so that no prices can be seen for the different options until you are ready to checkout. The website screams of management's view that it can earn more money by not being transparent. read more

I've been to this location five times now and every time the customer service is fantastic. The people are really helpful - Harry helped me today with a heavy set of dumbbells. I had to return a package yesterday and it was great to be helped by a team of professionals. Additionally, they printed my label and let me use their tape for free. As a bonus the office space is spacious and well lit with high ceilings too. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because it did take a long time to process my return read more

Time for some Kinko's love. . . I was reading some review online somewhere the other day (not here) and there were a couple railing on Kinko's and how bad they are and I'm just here to say that they're awesome. I've been to the Kendall Square location at least a dozen times and the staff there has always been friendly, punctual and professional. I mean, there's not much more to it than that. I need copies. I put in my order. It gets done quickly and exactly the way I wanted it. And here I am with a 5 star review. The only thing I don't like is how they're called "FedEx Kinko's". I realize that FedEx acquired Kinko's or they merged or whatever but the name just doesn't roll off the tongue. I usually call them Fedinko's - that's my little joke that I'm happy share with team Yelp. OK, now that you've read this review, from this point onward you can only call them Fedinko's. Okay this is for the books. I gave them a three because I went and they redeemed themselves. So here I am rushing to send out Christmas gifts late. But i was pretty sure coming to this location I wouldn't have problems. Boy was I WRONG!!!!!!! First off I like to support the postal services. My patriotic duty. But when you need something asap FedEx is the way to go. I went to the post office and they couldn't help me due to the size of my package. No problem. So she told me to go to MY.I.T. And then FedEx. When I went to M.I.T. They had no boxes the size I needed. So I flat out said no problem. Arriving at FedEx I literally waited about 15 minutes for services. Then the young lady couldn't concentrate on the customers for trying to be on her phone and hide it. Not professional. So when she quoted me the price of the items she said the box would cost $15.00 bucks and then to ship the product $59-$60.00 bucks. Then she tried to balance between me and the same guest she were with when i came. I went into shock. I asked her why so much? She said that the box alone costs 15 bucks. And the rest which were clothes and a child's guitar added. I laughed and asked her was she sure. And she said yes and i left. I went into U Haul bouh yt? A box and popcorn for ...get this..... (9.00)bucks. Yes I was happy but not at the fact I had to haul everything to and from my home to FedEx. So the next week I went back and said I'll have to bite the bullet and send it. So the two guys were very helpful. And we had a laugh and i was in and out within 10minutes. I looked at my receipts and it only cost me $17.44 to ship it out. I was furious that she would charge me so much. I wanted to tell her who I knew at the FedEx headquarters in Tennessee. But I simply am taking these steps to warn people about overpriced places. I am still shocked but happy I have my gifts off finally. Due to work and time I had no time to breath let alone send gifts. The two guys were awesome. Thank you. I've been going to this place for two years now and have had very different experiences depending on who is helping me. Typically they are not very busy and the staff is usually eager to help. There is one guy who is always there who is very helpful, courteous, and level-headed. He gets the job done - fast. But I've had bad experiences too: like when one employee insisted that I use the self-service machines to copy a few things (when she wasn't busy at all). The self-service machine wouldn't work because it wasn't properly set up for the day. It took 15 minutes for her to fix it, when I should have been in and out in 5 minutes. read more

Horrible customer service from beginning to end. They were short on the phone with me and then did not call me back when they said they would. When I arrived to pick up the print order both items were wrong though I described in detail how I wanted each one. When I asked if one item could be fixed I was told that it was "too difficult." I never had problem in last seven years in US with any of the FedEx office. This office is bit different, the employee working here are probably not trained. I asked for return label over-night shipping. First time I was told, my total due was some twenty eight dollars but since I wanted to add more documents he(the manager said) he can't give me those label and have to come create new. Same day I go after two hours, the price goes up by almost ten dollars. So I asked the another guy who didn't print the label he said it is for one side, so I asked the guy who printed the label to which he replied "Don't listen to that guy, I printed the label and it is dollar thirty five and how many times I have to repeat" It was rude and also insulting with lot of people around but I ignored thought he probably had bad day. Guess what I am charged twice now, for both labels. I asked the guy today, he said "you didn't understand.." It is funny that when I asked twice I was asking too much but now I didn't understand. He is not ready to take responsibility and also he said out loud addressing to people working at FedEx"can someone please deal with this?" (that would be me). His manager comes and says he cannot do anything, well I think the manager can do few things for sure. 1. Train the employee to have good skills, how things work 2. Make sure his employee learn to respect customers If the manager or someone from this office is reading - Please in future give everyone correct information and don't just charge any about or change the price for same package in the same day Everyone else, try to avoid this FedEx office read more

My worst fedex experience ever .Takes me more than half an hour to send a document. Slow and stupid.

All I wanted to do was print something that was on my google drive. All of the machines were incredibly slow and difficult to type on, there is no mechanism to select more than one item to print at a time, so if you want to print multiple things it takes very long. It automatically selects color (easy to change but still skeezy) and importantly, they CANNOT PRINT PDFs with fields in them. So, if you need to print any official documents -- what else needs paper copies nowadays anyway? -- you cannot do it here. It automatically checks every box and removes all text in entered text fields. Not for any reason, just bad software. Avoid coming here to print anything. Avoid at all costs. read more

Bottom Line: Worst service ever + Unprofessional and super lazy staff. -- USPS is incredibly better! 1 - Staff is super slow for no good reason. They spend lots of time doing "something" on their computer screens that keeps customers waiting for very very long time. And that happened on ALL my visit. It is their normal behavior. It takes at least 15min before someone starts serving me, even with only 1 customer in the line. 2 - Staff is highly unprofessoinal. I tried to get a passport photo their, they didn't tell me how much will it cost before hand + the guy was completely unprofessional. Wrong picture background, wrong pose and wrong lighting. (I took a passport picture in my university student center were super professional for a fraction of FedEx cost). 3 - The staff will try to trick you into paying more! I visited them on Friday and wanted some papers delivered on Monday. They tried to convince me with overnight shipping that will cost more than $30. I didn't fall for the trap. I selected the 3 days option, the guy informed that it will get there on Wednesday and it costs $9. I went on with that, yet to my surprise, the shipment made it there on Monday! because the 3days option were not really business days! They are just rip off and they have no idea what they are doing. I will never go to them for service ever again, and so should you. read more

I think that the reviews reflect a broad range of interest in a variety of services, and obviously quality may differ among them. However... For FEDEX, this is a very convenient site, there is at least one dedicated-free parking spot in front, delivery for next-day accepted until 7 PM, and all packaging materials are freely available. This place is HORRIBLE. As a professional who once worked in the print industry for the big boys (Staples Copy Center & Minuteman Press franchises) this place cannot cut it - literally! I work for a large high-tech software company in Cambridge and sent several proofs to be printed at this Fedex Office Print & Ship Center. Firstly, they forgot part of my order. Then they cut my business cards crooked, and finally the quality of my pocket folder proof was TERRIBLE! Big streaks running down the entire print. How about cleaning the print heads on your wide-format machine, you idiots! I was so upset by the whole situation. I felt obligated to let Fedex know that I was MAD. I phoned this location and gave the manager a piece of my mind. After he tried pulling the wool over my eyes explaining all these lame excuses that I in fact used on upset customers while working for printing companies in the past I told him that if I ever gave a customer a proof that looked as bad as mine did that I would have been fired from my old job! The manager proceeded to run down his list of excuses: Manager: "Maybe what your looking for is offset printing?" Me: "Offset printing for a pocket folder proof? Are you kidding me?" Manager: "We color calibrate the machines every day" Me: "Color calibration has NOTHING TO DO WITH STREAKING ON PRINTS - it's either the transfer roller on the machine or the print heads!" Manager: "Well sir you can always bring it back down for me to look at it. Was it really that bad?" Me: "Come back down to the store? What are you crazy? You'll be lucky if I ever set foot in your establishment again!" Way too much money, poor quality and a manager who literally knows NOTHING about printing. Find someplace else to send your printing. read more

I got screwed over here. I was shipping a parcel to Canada and I was not in a rush. While the staff appeared to be helpful, they did not inform me of all my options. So after forking over the $77 for a 2 pound package (seriously??) I checked the price online: $17 for the International Ground which is what I asked for in the first place--not one day express. Horrid customer service over the phone. Was asked to get quotes for packaging for work. I was not sure of the size of the packaging so I asked for a price list. I was told they could not send me the price list per corporate. Ok, that's fine. When asked if they could read it off to me so I could write it down I received a very unpleasant attitude and the box sizes and pricing were being read very fast. I asked if she could please slow down because I was writing- I got even more unpleasant attitude and was then read the price list as if I was a complete moron. I then stated that it sounded as if she was getting impatient with me and that I wasn't sure what I could do to make her more happy to help. I was told she was not impatient, but just giving me the information I needed "ma'am". I was thisclose to asking to speak to a manager.
