I was massively impressed with the high level of customer service received from my visit to FedEx today. I arrived nervous because it was the first time I was shipping internationally and with high valued items. Harvey was so friendly and genuinely interested in helping me with my shipment. He asked important questions so that he could offer the best guidance, he double checked everything because he genuinely cared about making sure my item got to its destination, and his sense of humor made me feel at ease. It's fair to say that I've never received this same level of service at competitor print and ship centers. As odd as it sounds, I'm now looking forward to utilizing FedEx more often for my personal shipments. read more

I can't say enough good things about the quality of the service here. Twice in the last few months I've had to ship heavy, fragile items (a large framed painting under glass and a record turntable), and both times the person helping me was efficient and professional; one of the times the cost was being paid by the recipient and required multiple phone calls, and the FedEx guy never lost his cool. Both items were carefully packed and arrived in perfect shape, so this store is now my go-to for sending fragile items of any size. (Parking may not obvious from the street -- there's a narrow driveway just before you reach the store. Pull in and go into the small parking garage at the end of the drive.) read more

My package was running days late and I needed the item for an event the next morning. Mr Harvey Chin offered to call me when the package arrived. When I didn't hear from him I went to the store and he was sorry to tell me no shipments had come in that day. He made some phone calls to try to find out where the package was, he did as much as he could and was very sympathetic to my situation. As I was sitting in front of the store a Fed ex truck finally arrived, 15 minutes before closing. The driver said he had two packages ,neither was mine. Mr Chin asked him to check again and gave him the tracking number- the package was on the truck! Even though I have been unhappy with Fedex lately (3 out of 5 packages delivered to the wrong address in the past year), Mr Chin renewed my commitment to continuing to use Fedex. After reading some of the other reviews I was dreading coming here to drop off a package and to send out my jacket for a replacement again. The parking garage/lot is fairly small and looks like it's connected to an office park. I arrived around 7PM so the store was relatively quiet. I was worried that the staffed hours were over, since on the website this place is listed as open 24 hrs! There were two people at the packaging center and one of them was very helpful in helping me select the right size envelop and attaching the label to send out my jacket and other package! read more

Waited over fifty minutes just to pick up a package that I had requested be held at this location. The package was 15 feet behind the counter in plain view. I arrived at approximately 8:10 PM. Two staff at the counter, four customers in front of me, one behind. I watched one agent chat with one customer for over forty five-minutes, all the while occasionally slowly walking back-and-forth a few feet, picking up an empty box, putting it to back and picking up another one, without appearing to have any awareness of six people standing in line, and no sense of urgency. The other agent appeared to be assisting someone trying to design business cards and this took nearly 30 minutes. At least this agent looked up at us once and said "hang in there." At some point an agent should say, "Excuse me for just a few minutes, I'm going to check to see if anyone in line just needs to pick up or drop off something." The first agent's slow chatty pace gave an impression of lack of concern, even a bit of contempt. In retrospect, I would rather have had my package delivered to my door during the day, even at the risk of it sitting outside. Even on my returning the cart I used to bring my package to the car, the same customer and agent were still at the counter chatting, now for over an hour. read more

I burst out laughing at her accurate and very funny musings on dealing with Fed X Kinkos. Please fix your printer for international shipping invoices. Four times now over the past 3 months I have wasted 20 minutes each time while the staff figured out what I already know: the printer doesn't print international invoices when it should be seamless. After three attempts the data that's entered is wiped! This forces the staff to go find the forms and handwrite them. At this stage I know more than employees - their printer doesn't work. Going to this Fedex to ship internationally is a nightmare. Complete waste of time. Why can't it be fixed? I asked the last assistant this question and she just rolled her eyes as if to say "Fedex is so poorly run I can't see this simple IT issue ever being fixed." read more

Ok, everyone knows that Kinkos tend to be staffed by people who are so incompetent, you might as well print your job yourself. However, this isn't one of those reviews saying that, because I've never used this FedEx Kinko's to do any commercial printing. I use it when I need higher-res printouts for portfolio pieces for job interviews. Here's the thing: stuff happens on the way from when you press click to the printer's output tray. Maybe you sent it to the b&w printer when you wanted color. Maybe you didn't preview it before you printed 3 pages from the PDF and the wrong pages went through. What I like about this Kinko's is that they're very forgiving of such mistakes. They'll knock my boo-boos off my bill, and once or twice, they'll let me keep the mistaken output. That's really nice. They've also got a great selection of office supplies if you need them (I like their 2009 calendars: noting fancy, just functional)--and weirdly enough, candy, I guess for those late nights you need to be there, because they're open way late, too. read more

I am used to bad customer service at FedEx Kinkos, but this location in particular seems to have staffing kinks to work out. I came in various times throughout the day from the physician's offices above with a number of packages and questions. The first time I entered there were three employees working and only one customer. I stood at the counter waiting for over 5 minutes, and not even an acknowledgement. A man in a suit eventually ventured in and he was greeted with the "it will be just a minute sir." Not even a look in my direction. Mind you I had slacks and a button up, but perhaps I should start wearing a tie for that real respect one deserves at a Fed Ex Kinkos. VERY Slow service once I was helped, and a very frustrating experience to say the least. Will seek out another FedEx Kinkos for my next printing and shipping needs in the Chestnut Hill area. read more

Best FedEx there is however they are NOT 24/7 now. I suspect this is due to COVID but yelp needs to update hours.

One of the best points about this place is the fact that it's open 24 hours, so you can't complain about convenience. Overall pretty happy, although sometimes it's difficult to find an employee if you need help. read more

This is the worst FedEx I have ever been to. There are only two staff members running the floor that together barely amount to half of a functional brain. I do not know why this place has not received immense amounts of negative yelp reviews because I can't imagine anyone has had a pleasant experience at FedEx Chestnut Hill. Everything is beyond over priced and their package system has no organization. They have lost two of my packages and when I provided them with the tracking info that THEY gave me, they told me they had no means of locating the package. I do not know what is wrong with whoever runs this place but they need to get their heads on straight and establish an organized system so that packages are not lost due to employees carelessness and incompetence. Seriously stay far away from this FedEx if you want your packages to be handled responsibly!! read more

While working on a project for a non profit, it was necessary to print some signs. Not being a graphic designer with fancy software, I used word to create a template. When I arrived at Fedex and uploaded the files, it was clear that the formatting was not uniform across all the signs. Understanding my needs, Henry took the time to adjust the files in a heftier design program and ensured the final product was both professional and aesthetically perfect. This place is excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly, the prices are reasonable, the copying and printing machines are state-of-the-art, and all my photocopying and mailing supplies needs have been met here. Furthermore, everything is on one floor, the handicapped-accessible ramps are very handy, and the giant rolls of bubble wrap I always buy for my online book and CD sales shipping is prominently displayed and easy to find. Horrible service. I spent an hour with the staff at this location and went over a very simple business sign with no graphics or logo, just letters that needed to be a certain size to fit on the door. I Ordered the business sign that I was told would be ready in 3 days. It was finally ready after 10 days. I was told that their vendor had recently changed and they were not aware which caused the delay. When I showed up to pick up the sign it was twice the size it should have been which was clearly indicated on the order form. When I complained about the service, the staff person became rude and grabbed the sign and threw it in trash and said, "we don't need your business". This is the worst place to do business with the most unprofessional and incompetent staff. read more

Unfortunately, I was also in a tremendous rush as there were last minute adjustments to be made to a presentation for a meeting that afternoon. I worked with a woman there who was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and Very personable. My fiancée and I were nervous about getting a number of things finished a before our wedding (signs, programs, table numbers, the usual fare). Andrew was incredible! He was patient with us and was able to do things on his computer that we were not able to do at home like resize final products in order to fit strange formats and sizing (and we're very tech savvy people). If we would have had to do these tasks on their DIY printers we would have been there for days. We never felt rushed. He gave us many proofs for us to review before making a final decision.
