Very disappointing experience with the UPS Store in Weston. I had two small packages delivered…read morethere and, when I went to pick them up a few days later, I was told I owed about $100 in storage fees based on a $10-per-package-per-day charge starting the day each package arrived. I had never been told about this fee, and the employee acknowledged that it is not something they advertise. The storage charge was roughly three times the value of the packages themselves, so I left without them rather than pay it. It felt as though I was being forced to pay a substantial undisclosed fee simply to retrieve my own packages. I spoke with the manager, but he would not reconsider the charges and seemed irritated that I was questioning the policy. The company that shipped the packages was shocked by what happened, said it would investigate and file a complaint, and is sending replacement packages directly to my home. I would be very cautious about doing business with this location unless you first make sure you understand what fees they may charge, including any hidden charges that are not clearly disclosed in advance.

In both moves The Other Guys has been nothing but efficient, cost-effective, kind, helpful, caring, and flexible. Jane in the office rocks! Their email response time is second to none. Plus, she fields and fielded so many last moment changes in the move from Boston to NJ, she deserves a medal. I recently needed additional documentation to have my employer cove some costs and all materials were sent over immediately, even though my move was a while ago. In the most recent Northern NJ to Western MA, happened very fast and had a tight timeline. Julius and his team were able to help. I did not think they would even be interested in a move that required them to start in NJ, but thankfully, they were. Their quote was spot on and thorough, included toll estimates, mileage, materials, time, and more. Many other companies left out tolls and materials fees. Plus, it was much cheaper than some options in NJ (those NJ movers were BANANAS). They kept me updated the way down to NJ and throughout the drive north. When we got to the final destination in Western Mass, Julius made sure we saw the scratches on the hardwood, right under where we were placing our bed, left by previous tenants to ensure our landlord did not charge us.
