I paid $300+ for FedEx expedited passport service only to show up and their camera was not working! Another store they called (Lakewood)same thing! Had to drive 20 min to find a store that had a working camera. That fee does NOT include the government's fee! WTF did I pay all that money for? So I found myself in a fix on Friday afternoon to we're I was unable to make a trek to Hemet, California from North Long Beach California to take paperwork to we're it needed to be. So I looked up this location and headed over. Walk in and the store was clean employees were nice and helpful. So I asked the soonest delivery date. I was hoping next day when I was told they don't do weekend deliveries? I guess so I then ask the soonest day they say Monday and that had to be ok I guess as they said they don't do weekends but when I got my receipt Saturday at 10:30 am and it said preferred next day delivery and I was charged $43.00 for a package that Waugh less than a pound I was confused. So did you charge the overnight or what? Then they told me that's the normal rate. So $43.00 for two day delivery? I could have spent 0.45 cents on a stamp and it would have done the same thing. Nice store nice people but the price is outrageous. Go ups or if you have two days just use the postal service and save a crap load of money.One stars because the store was clean and the help was nice but save your money as far as shipping. read more

I've been here several times for printing and shipping services. The staff here is very helpful. I've read some other reviews on this place and damn do I feel indifferent to those horrible reviews.. lol... the staff is always helpful... This last time - I emailed them to receive a quote on a project I worked on and they responded via email and even called me with a question on the type of "finish" for my project .. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I came in here to print out some price sheets. I always come in here anytime I need help or if the printer is giving me an error the associates normally offer to help. In this situation the self serve printers are being used im standing in line patiently waiting. I then ask the associate hey since they're all being used and you're free can you print these out for me? They normally print them out for me when it's busy or unavailable anyways. This associate old white guy working the morning shift tells me "sure but it's gonna cost ya an extra $3.00" so I said awesome sounds good I'll pay the extra $3.00 to get my paper printed by an associate. I paid the $3.00 not because he was going above and beyond for me but because I needed to get out of there I was already waiting here for 15 minutes to just print out 1 paper. I waited patiently for the young guy behind the counter, Craig finished with his customer and greeted me and informed me that next time, I did not need to wait. I can use the automated kiosk to send my envelope. I told him I would rather be patient and wait for a human so the devices will not take his job in the future. He told me he would like to see it happen (in a patronizing tone). And I told him it's already happening and he told me again. He would like to see that happen and that he doubts it. The ending result was Craig saying ," Why don't you mind my own business?" I asked for my envelope back and told him I do not trust him to handle my shipping and that I would go somewhere else. Oh my Lord this is the absolute worst FedEx or shipping center that I've ever been to. I have come here now many times because I work in the area. Every time that I come there is some different excuse they have for me to need to buy a box by tape by bubble wrap or something else. That is an added service. I'm always told that it's a requirement and I cannot ship my prepaid label box unless I make some modification. Now at first I thought I must be doing something wrong." I just don't understand how I should be boxing or labeling these shipments.", I thought to myself. But then I go to a different location a little further away from me. They never had a single problem shipping my boxes. Also, they were simply much nicer at the other store. I cannot stress highly enough how much I recommend you to go to literally any other location. My final interpretation is that the staff are trained to nickel and dime you with any excuse possible to make you spend money on items with the highest mark up. I am not elderly but 62 and half the electronic stuff I don't know the 1st thing to do but if I had to figure it out I know I could but this young lady name Ronee helped me download and print documents out in color and some without color but hontee that girl was the queen of multitasking while helping me 100%.. I can tell she has a heart to serve the public with dignity respect patience and stlye..she is a wonderful customer service person.. Just left FedEx, I dealt with Baraq & Mercy in printing. Overall they were friendly but not very efficient at their jobs. I went in to get prints of some of my art work. I first dealt with Baraq, I asked for a sample and quote of a nice quality 11x14 paper for my prints HE ASKED MERCY & CHECKED, and said it would be $32 for 20 copies. I was like cool, let's do it. He started printing everything. Mercy came to charge me & and the price had way surpassed was I was quoted. My new total was like $93!? I new about the adjustment photo fee, but they failed to inform me printing orders over $50 have a additional $15 priority rush fee (ridiculous BUT vital information to inform a customer). I really needed the copies for a vending event so I was going to just take the Loss. I paid once I looked over the copies half of them had been scuffed up! It looked as though there printer heads needed to be cleaned. They told me even if they reprinted it would still be the same outcome. Sooo basically no one is going to even try and access and fix the problem? Yes okay bet, run me my refund. THEN it was difficulties with the refund, Mercy new what she was doing but then again not really. I guess they were out of refunding paper it was just too much. Too too much. read more

I legit hate this place. The first time I came here, I had a young woman who was so outride rude to me (aka lots of eye rolling) that I had to call her out on it. She immediately changed her tune after that. I just went again yesterday, relieved to not see the same woman as before, but was met by another rude associate. I'm wondering if that's a prerequisite for working here. Clearly all of these people hate their job and want customers to know. Due to my profession, I have to visit a FedEx/Kinko's location a few times a week. This particular location is absolutely horrific. About an hour and a half ago I stopped in for a very simple, five minute task. I called ahead and asked how long it would take to add a spiral binder to a half inch thick small booklet. They told me between five and 20 minutes depending on how busy they are. I was there in five minutes and unfortunately a few people showed up before my arrival. When I was called I explained what I needed and handed this woman my booklet. She walked away to some machines towards the back of the office and spent about 10 minutes working on my book. I was watching her the entire time and she looked to be confused... Like it was her first time doing this. They rang me up and I paid while I was waiting. When she "finished" my booklet, I opened it up to take a look and noticed that the pages were all out of order. She obviously didn't take much care when she was doing this and got all the pages out of order. Unfortunately all the holes had been punched in the side of it and the spiral binder was installed. When I went back to tell her of her mistake she didn't even try to apologize. She was very smug and told me to wait for her associate. When he asked me what was wrong I showed him that the pages were all screwed up and he said that he should be able to fix it. I waited another 25 minutes for him to "fix it" and when he handed it back to me he had decided to cut the sides off the page where all the holes were and just copy the pages and re-drill holes in them. Of course now almost a half of an inch of the page was cut off and you could not even make out the wording because the spiral was now going through all the text. When I saw how botched up the book had become I asked him to simply refund the fee they charged me to do this job, and to also refund the $21 it was going to cost me to have a replacement book sent in to have this done properly. He then got the manager involved and he told me that he would not do that. He said he would refund me the money that I paid to have the spiral installed but he was not about to refund me the $21 it's gonna cost me to replace the book. No apology no concern just an attitude that it wasn't his fault. While he didn't actually do the work he's the manager so he's responsible for training all of his employees. While all of this was going on another gentleman came in with a stack of paper and asked to have copies made. He handed it to the same girl that screwed up my project and lo and behold... When she handed him the pile back the pages were all out of order. This girl should obviously not be working here or needs to be trained. I watched in disbelief as this guy tried his best to get all his pages back in order. He was so frustrated. I know exactly how he felt. Luckily he just got copies made and he didn't have those bound into a booklet where holes were drilled into the side. The manager (Aaron) then said he would try to fix it again and try to make it look more presentable. The unfortunate thing is that this particular book is one of many that an entire class will be receiving. He had to "create" a new cover because they totally trashed the first original cover.Now one book is a different size than the rest of them and doesn't look the same and is in a different color and is not the same quality. He flat out refused to reimburse me the $21 for the book, but trust me when I tell you... That $21 is going to end up costing him a lot of customers because I plan on letting everyone know about this so nobody has to go through what I just did. They obviously had awful reviews to begin with and I guess I should have looked at those before I decided to come here but it happened to be on my way home. I will never stray from my regular FedEx/Kinko's again. It was only 10 minutes out of my way but I lost an hour sitting at this place. Do yourself a huge favor and never EVER come to this location if you want things done properly. They obviously have no idea what they are doing and will not take responsibility when they damage your stuff. read more

Update: This place seriously has the worst service! I frequently ship packages and this is usually the most convenient location for me, so I am stuck using them. Every time I have been here in the past 6 months, the service has been non existent. Park in the back parking lot and there are FedEx workers standing around and sitting in cars with their doors open smoking! The whole place stinks and cigarette butts all over the ground. Walk in and the FedEx workers are always standing in the back section, behind the counter, talking. These are not work related conversations - they are personal life drama conversations, which I have had the pleasure of overhearing. These FedEx workers completely ignore customers, as they stand in the back talking, having personal conversations. They make you, the customer, wait until they are finished with their personal conversations before they will even step up to the front counter to help you. I have witnessed these FedEx workers let a line form all the way to the door while they continue talking and ignoring customers. Once you, the customer, receive service with a package you are trying to ship, these FedEx workers begin asking you what's inside of the box. It is very weird! I use multiple shipping companies including the postal service and UPS in addition to FedEx and FedEx is the only one that asks me what is inside of the box I'm shipping. Half the time the workers ask me and the other half of the time, they don't! It is very awkward to stand in the store, in front of other customers announcing what is inside of the box you are shipping. There is zero privacy! Additionally, if you use the smart post pre-paid labels, good luck to you! I have had multiple FedEx workers from this location question me about the label. I even had one worker tell me that, "This isn't a FedEx label, you can't ship this here!" I had to inform the worker that it is a smart post table and it most certainly was for FedEx! On top of that, there is the box drama. It doesn't matter what type of box I bring into this location - there is always something wrong with the box and a reason I can't use the box! Examples: There is a logo on the box. There is a mark on the box. There is a sticker on the box. I honestly can't stand dealing with these FedEx workers arguing over boxes! Just a constant argument here when you are trying to ship anything! The best advice I can give is to find the most plain cardboard box possible - no logos on the box and good luck to you! read more

This place apparently can't accept any packages that have any value attached to them. I tried to ship earrings from this location and they said they could not accept them. I made a purchase of perfume through Nordstrom and wanted to return it they gave me a FedEx shipping label. This location said they couldn't accept the package because it had perfume in it..... I am very disappointed that Mercy required me to pay additional cost to process my free return for an Adidas purchase for "filler paper". I packaged it in the same exact box as I received from Adidas and then was told I needed to pay for filler. I called FedEx Customer Service and spoke to Christine who told me that small filler is FREE and I quote "is one of the perks of using FedEx." After Mercy gave me my receipt and said I was all set, I asked if she was going to add the "filler" in my package and said she would. She didn't re-open my package in front of me nor can I confirm she actually added the "filler". The whole experience seemed very suspicious which is why I called corporate to confirm my experience. You know it is a scam when even the Customer Rep from corporate says you were wronged. *Save your time & money and go to a different location. They scam you by charging you for packing filler or a new box because they don't like the box you shipped in when other fed exes would gladly take it how it is. I go to ups and many FedEx places in Long Beach because of my work place this is the only one that asks me what's inside and shakes my packages. I shipped clothing they charged me for supposedly filler and a new box. I came last week and they did the same thing I only came for convenience now I will drive a few blocks away to another location. They just want to take your money. Bring your business elsewhere. This place doesn't have a good selection of boxes for shipping and their printers freeze all the time during a print job requiring you to start over constantly. Natalie is rude...Autumn is great. Autumn helped me print a project. Very personable, kind, and helpful. I came in today to pick it up and there was a customer being helped my Natalie in front of me. Once she was finished with the customer she walked away without acknowledging me at all. I walked up to the counter and when she walked back she asked me, "What is it that you need help with?" Excuse me? It was just rude and bad customer service from the gate. How about, "Hi, how can I help you?" If I were going to place my order I would have walked right out. If it couldn't get any worse, I needed help printing from the xerox machine so I walked over to the counter, she wasn't helping anyone, I must have been like 6 feet away from her and said, "Excuse me," like 4 times before Autumn, who was helping someone, cut in and told me what to do. Unacceptable. She's terrible. If I were her supervisor I'd write her up. They need to send some secret shoppers in there because I guarantee you she won't be employed there long treating people like this. Autumn got them every star I gave them. I was reading all the reviews and as with everything each experience is unique. My desperation level to have a document printed and cut was over the top. A bit hesitant to visit this business due to so many bad reviews. When it is the closest you sometimes just need to take a risk. I was quickly greeted as I walked in. I read that someone had trouble emailing and receiving a print code. The gal working told me where to email, I did have to ask her to repeat as she said it pretty quick. Not rude or mean, just as if she has said it a million times. She repeated it with zero attitude. Once I had the code she printed and cut the documents with no drama. Paid, thanked her and on my way to finish the job. Heck, I was so pleased with the service I looked around and bought a few additional items as I waited for the document to print. All in all it was a good experience. Not to take away from all the bad ones. However on this day maybe the employee deserves praises as she had good customer service skills. Great Job Ereka G.
