While efficient, this store is penny-any. I drop off to UPS a lot on the city. This is the only location that charged me a dollar to tape an envelope. Really? For 6in of tape (at the most). Unnecessary! This location is in LBX, next to Panini Grill. Ample parking to unload. Clean inside. Folk with good attitudes. Efficient. Just penny-any! read more

This is the best UPS store I've ever been to. Thanasi is THE BEST. He always helps me with my packages (and I come here a lot). He also takes USPS drop offs and once was SO HELPFUL in helping me send in my passport renewal to make sure it got there. He also provides great tips on how to send things (my MIL lives in Georgia). He's also kind and friendly and I enjoy seeing him when I walk in. There is actually a closer UPS store to me but the workers there are kind of grumpy so I make the extra drive to see Thanasi! I mailed a package from this location to my son in Mexico. Cost $152 and change. Two weeks later the tracking was flagged as returned to sender. The delivery service in Mexico which was at the Texas cali boarder. They said they tried to contact the recipient 3 times ( son said zero attempts were made). This ups store said they spoke to the location and they were going to hold the package and attempt contact again since I gave them alternate phone numbers. Bear in mind my son is 2500 miles south of the boarder and this is taking place ON the boarder. The next day the package was delivered back to ME. This ups office was zero help in correcting the issue. Furthermore the first thing I was asked when I went to the ups location to inquire on the status on the package was "was there anything in the package made in China? Because they won't deliver it if there is"! Well, why the hell wouldn't you mention that when the customer comes in to ship the package? Just about EVERYTHING is made in China ! This place is only concerned with taking your money and doesn't care about providing a service. 3 stars is generous. They need to work on policies and vetting when shipping to Mexico. ---- ---- The day after writing this review I received a call from the manager stating that a refund would be issued and this yelp review was mentioned. 1/24/2023 UPS is The Worst Client Service in the USA! My 27 year Daughter Shipped 3-Day via UPS in Long Beach 12/19/2022 for Delivery to her father/ME 12/22/2022 in North Texas. They Delivered it Somewhere. just not to Recipient. UPS Has NO Proof of Delivery. I FILED Numerous times on their Website. They Sent a Driver to my home and I Completed a Claim early in January. AS they did nothing I Attacked them on Twitter; Repeatedly. Finally a Human connected. Like Most Americans my Daughter unlike her Wartime Vet Father does NOT Collect Receipts. The Long Beach UPS Store does everything they can to not take any responsibility for this tragic error. Almost the Last week of January, she the Sender has not been compensated. I cannot thank Hannah enough for her help with the return of my package. I was returning a chandelier so the package for the item was big. I did not believe the company I purchased the item from provided me with a return label. Hannah was able to figure out that the company did provide a return label so instead of the item costing me close to $150.00 to return cost me .50 cents since I paid for the shipping label to be printed from their business.
