I got here not really considering the fact that tax time is fast approaching and that the new cramped location would be bursting with people that required a lot of assistance because they came unprepared. There was some customer in front of me claiming she was late for a job interview and needed to print something, yet she was dressed in jeans and grubby tennis shoes. I so wanted to ask where she had applied. I've been a FedEx/Kinkos customer for years, so most of the staff is the same in their new MV location near Cost Plus (across ECR from the old one). I've also been to other locations. Usually when you have a small, quick job, and there's a big backup, they'll help you at the counter for no extra fee (i.e., customer service). However, that was not the message communicated to me by the female that initially greeted me, so I decided to wait for the customer with the supposed interview to figure out how to use the machine and leave so I could use it myself. I was also in here the other day when NOBODY else was there - not customers or other staff - except for a single employee and me. I don't expect an overly fake greeting, but whatever I did get was very unfriendly. And I didn't even require any help from her. Today I finally got to a machine and was able to go through some printing and copying on my own. However, one (SINGLE-page) document would not allow me to print it. After about 5 tries, I waited until a male employee (Kit-Shing) finished helping another customer. Since it was next to my machine, I noticed how patient and genuinely helpful he was (I've seen this before from him at the other location). He even gave the customer tips on dealing some of the instructions if they happened to speak another language (as he himself possibly does). It was absolutely respectful, and again, of real use. He told me he would help me to print out my document at the counter since the file itself was giving me issues. It took him very little time, and it worked for him on the first try. I was so grateful to him for making quick work of what should have been a simple process for me. He obviously understands the TRUE meaning of customer service. Him stepping in left me with a positive impression and made me feel comfortable that things will go smoothly next time I need their services. Please pay attention to his quiet wisdom! Sorry for rambling, but his attitude stood out even more because it's been a terrible week for customer service everywhere I've gone. So many people (often young, but not always) can barely be bothered to perform the most basic tasks they're paid to do. It's honestly appalling. I don't understand why they aren't more thankful to have a job in the first place in this economy and with the takeover of AI. I have only been asking them to help with simple tasks that are their only job duties. I have not been rude or difficult, yet I've been met with 'tude. Anyway, Kit-Shing is simply awesome. I wanted to share my recent experience using the Print & Go service at this location. I had emailed my document and received a code, but when I tried to use it at the self-service station, it didn't work. I approached the counter for help, and unfortunately, the staff member I interacted with was not very professional. She gave me an attitude and a sarcastic smile before offering help. Later, when I went to pay, I was surprised to see a surcharge added to my total. I asked about it, and was told that any service done at the counter includes a surcharge. I wish that had been communicated beforehand -- I would have tried other options. In the end, I paid $3.07 to print just one piece of paper, which feels excessive. I understand service charges, but I believe better transparency and more respectful customer service would really improve the experience read more

I was getting 30 copies, cut in half, on a specific kind of paper. Extremely pleased with the quick and competent service. This was just before Christmas, and waiting in line, she was very helpful to the person in front of me, too, helping her save a lot on shipping by putting her own box into a fedex flat-rate box. read more

I don't use FedEx very often but I really like this print shop. I always encounter very nice staff, who are knowledgeable. The best service that they have is the self scan and drop off box. I went into the store to just drop off the things ready to go and when I went to go get the second box, a female employee immediately locked the door on purpose and would not even acknowledge the knocking on the door telling her that I knew she locked my things inside on purpose, not even sparing a second. She came back with a feigned story of: "following store policy" but really was personally trying to mess with me- like with all these locals - probably trying to hit on me and gain something personal from being negative in a deceptive manner. Like all the other times, I didn't like it and I know she wanted to make my day bad on purpose. You could hear it as she tried to escalate and ask permissions on common sense things - over physically not being in the store to finish the transaction. (This is a basic type of stupidity common amongst these locals with me personally, seems so.) She said she would have to ask a manager, but just to bring my stuff back to me not even process this shipment that would have already been done by now. Their negativity got the better of the situation like it always does - thinking anything good will ever come out of treating better people worse than you treat yourself. She said the job was already completed and that she misunderstood my request and that's why she had given me a wrong quote. The fact that she "misunderstood" but waited until the job was done to up charge me is why this place deserves 0 stars. Terrible service. read more

I'm going to have to give one star because the container where packages are dropped off where overly stuffed so stuffed it was open making it easy for anyone to come and snatch anything out , and it must be exactly what happened with the phone I shipped out and didn't arrive to Apple the workers need to be more attentive of what's going on in the store keeping up with the packages coming in. read more

Never thought I'd leave a FedEx in tears but here I am. I just wanted to drop off 4 packages that are already paid for a labeled but it turned into a whole scene. Employee Kit-Shing was extremely unprofessional, harsh, and rude. He seemed stressed upon arrival but that is not an excuse to take it out on customers. He was upset that I put the boxes in a wrong order on the counter and YELLED at me, saying that I am "incompetent" and "out of touch". Went in a day ago and the services was pretty good. They offered to package my items for me since I already had a pre pod shipping label. Yes, you can do it yourself but time is precious and I wanted in and out so I opt into the service and paid a decent price for a gaming system with extras to be package properly and then shipped off. To be fair, I think the shipping was fast. That being said, the employee was very rude. He basically saying that I did a bad job at packing. I tried to explain that the box was a FedEx box that is given by my company to return an equipment. Apparently someone in my company sealed that box prematurely and I had to tear some corners in order to put my box in. Fedex could have provided better instruction to that person in my company so he/she won't prematurely seal my box, right? No, instead I have to face being mocked by their employee. And come on, the employee could have just helped seal my box and shut up. Instead of spending 5 minutes mocking me passive aggressively "use common sense, do you think this is a good condition for shipping? Next time ask us to pack your stuff!" When I have clearly asked him help to seal my box! I literally asked his help. I tried to deflect his comments at first by trying to acknowledge his comments, but he kept pushing. Used to have amazing customer support. I'm a teacher, trying to make copies because our machine is down. Making THOUSANDS of copies and spending hundreds of dollars. The machines kept logging me out mid copy and eating up my money. At first, staff was helpful. Making the copies that weren't made for me. Finally, after the fourth Or fifth time, I asked them to just make the damn copies for me. They were incredibly unhelpful making me put in a full order and asking me when I needed them by (right now). I eventually gave up and will find somewhere else to finish my copies. Too bad. I have repeatedly gone there for my copies, despite prices being higher, because of their customer service. The old management isn't there anymore. It shows. read more

I rarely, if ever, have to use FedEx, but what a great experience this was! I came here yesterday afternoon, and needed to overnight a letter out of state. The clerk was great, very helpful, answered all my questions. Upon first entering the store, I was immediately approached by another clerk asking if I needed help. Very pro-active. The price I paid was very fair for the service, and I was notified today my letter was received as expected! What more could I ask for? Great job! THE WORST! I hate FedEx with a passion and this seals the deal once again. Had to have a package sent to a shipping center to hold so I could pick it up. It's a toy addressed to my one year old, so guess what? They "can't release" it unless she signs for it. And oh she can't sign for it because she is not an adult. Nowhere does the website say this all is needed for pickup of course. I even have my daughter's birth certificate, know the tracking number and can point out the package on the shelf. If I could give negative (-) negative 5 star I would I knew I should hav gone to the location in Sunnyvale. The one in Mountain is always a terrible & expensive.... most staff is nice. But the one that greeted me told me right off that I need to add more packing (cost of $15 including taxes). I packed it with the same packing item came with. I stuck around and watched employees repack my stuff. Guess that's why it cost $15 dollars to add more (paper) filler. I wanted to leave a positive review for Rex and Rochelle. I did have some issues with my print job for work, but they took responsibility and made things right. Thanks, you two. Rex was also impressively positive in the face of dealing with many customers. I do recommend that print jobs don't get over packaged so that they can be easily reviewed in the store. If I had left without checking the order I would have been bummed at having to come back for a reprint. The packaging also used a lot of tape, not just plastic bags, which ended up getting stuck to one of the prints and ripping it up. Just my two cents. read more

I jammed up the copier and then to make things worse, I lost my credit card. After emptying all the contents of my purse and couldn't find it, one of the nice ladies came over to help with my copies and then search for my card. She asked where was the last place I saw it, then judged the card trajectory and found it wedged in another copy machine! Wasn't that brilliant? I left with my copies and credit card. In October 2022, we went to Fedex to renew our passport because it was part of their service that was offered. The Fedex website says "Traveling soon? Apply or renew your passport with our expedited services." The lady was very rude and did not want to help us. I stormed out of the store pretty upset because she seemed as if she didn't want to even explain to us the process. Isn't this a service you offer? Can you help us and provide us with answers? As my husband and I were in the car, we both discussed what happened, but we still needed to renew our passport. I decided to stay in the car while my husband works on his passport. It sure was not an expedited service as he was in the FedEx store for about an hour and a half. And now, we received Victor's old passport in the mail and the request was not processed. We then follow up to see what is the hold up on the passport status. We do more research and talk to many representatives through the passport services. We found the government website says "If you use UPS, FedEx, DHL, or another company to send your application, the application will be returned to you." Now, it is March 2023, we have lost $385.27 and have no passport. Worst service ever!! read more
