I recently visited this location to ship a perishable package Priority Overnight. I had my own supplies (box, tape, etc.) but what I brought into the store was not the best solution to ensure the shipment would arrive at its destination safe and intact. The store manager, Jim Hall provided THE BEST service I've had in quite a while at any retail establishment. He was very helpful, went above and beyond to assist me and did it all with a smile and great attitude! The package reached the destination in perfect condition and ahead of the commitment time. I am writing this review while I wait to do a return. Which is return happy ...they would just scan it and it's done. The FedEx rep is doing laminates for one customer. There is nobody else, except one customer with a self serve print. So if you want to wait 20 minutes or more come here. You'd get faster service elsewhere. So I've had some experience with this location over the years, none of it is notable really. I used to sell a lot of things on eBay and this was one of the FedEx locations close by. Dropping off packages was never a problem and if I had any questions, they were always willing to help. Recently, the wife needed to print a 700 page document and she came here to find out how much it might cost. 350 pages, front and back came to something like $140. 40 cents a page?! Seriously? Okay, so they knocked off 1 cent per page if she didn't want it hole punched. She turned around and walked. It was just black and white printed from a .pdf. This was not priced competitively at all. She found another copy store that would do it all for 40-some dollars. So the pricing isn't set by the location, so I have left the 3 star rating based on the location, not on FedEx itself. I believe their in-location services to be highly over priced, but that's with any location, not specific to this one location. read more

We all know Kinko's is not a library. Sometimes you have to write/print a report, etc. in a very timely fashion on computers that's cache has not been cleared this century. This can be very challenging given the other people on the computers next to you are talking on their phones about the size of the waitress's boobs at lunch, what nail polish to wear, how hungover they are, etc. etc. All this while I'm paying almost 1/2 dollar/ minute on computers almost as slow as dial-up- When they encourage customers to be respectful of other customers, I'll consider revising my review- read more

The review isn't for this specific location but fedex in general. I have more issues with fedex than ups or usps. They cannot accurately estimate when a package will deliver and they routinely leave me waiting until 8 pm on packages that do not get delivered. My last shipment was due Monday. They changed delivery to Saturday and notified me on Saturday morning after I left town. I had no way to prevent it being left over weekend without paying money. THEY are who changed the delivery date. Other carriers have delays but they don't wait until overnight to tell you. They at least try to fix their faults. Other carriers put you first on their list for next day delivery. Fedex does not do this. I am sitting again past 5 pm waiting on a package that I have no idea if it will show again. And guess what - I have no option to change anything without paying. read more

Last night, I was exhausted. I came to Fedex expecting to wait hours. I needed to print 18 copies of 26 pages. I had a huge flashdrive with plenty of pages and a few special stipulations. The staff here blew me away, especially Tim, one of the employees. He is so kind and friendly. It is clear that he is happy to be working at Fedex. He even brought me a box and offered to stack all the papers. This is the location that you should go to if you want to be taken care of with top notch service. This is a fedex store, and the people and products are both nice. They are generally open to squeezing a quick job in while I eat next door. The machines are always working, and the people are helpful and manage to be non-condescending (or at least sound so) despite having to deal with people like me all day. read more

I was a little confused as to what to do when I got there as I've never needed anything like this printed. I got some assistance from a nice employee who was very understanding of my wild three year old although she was complaining about taking a late lunch to another employee. She helped me print the things I needed, and even showed my kids around the store. She helped me laminate my stuff as well. All in all it was a good experience. I only give it four stars because it was pretty pricey. read more

I handle a lot of print projects for various companies in the area. I have tried this location time and time again, with terrible results. They don't seem to be able to understand how to work efficiently on projects- meandering about the store with no sense of urgency. I agree that the employees spend more time socializing than working and it usually seems to take three or four people to finish one simple job because no one is trained. And when I expressed my disappointment on their work, they made excuses and even tried to blame me. I got a return phone call from the district manager with more excuses for their shoddy workmanship. And then they said it would probably take them nine months to a year to get their staff properly trained and fully competent! I don't know about anyone else, but I sure don't have time to wait a year for them to get their act together. Staples and Office Depot offer better service for half the price, I'll be trusting them with all of my work from now on. If I could give this location zero stars, I would. read more

I have used this location several times at my company's request. Sometimes the service is 2-star, and other times it is 4-star. I find that on the whole, the staff can be slow, but are generally knowledgeable. How many Fedex employees does it take to screw a shipment? I had a simple package to ship on priority. The staff did not help me with a plain enough request for a return shipment label. I was directed to the computer to print my own return shipping label which would have been fine except they had no idea how to help me with related questions. There was field to enter the shipment date which I had trouble with because I did not know when the return label would be used. When asked the lady in the staff what I should enter in the date field I was just repeatedly only told "YOU HAVE TO FILL THE DATE" without even attempting to understand my concern that I could not possibly know when the label would be used for a return shipment. Finally she said "How can I tell you what date to enter?". I was stunned at the unprofessional way she was handling my question and her complete ignorance of Fedex process. I asked her if the fedex location at the other end are expecting the exact date, she replied with a dismissive "I don't know what they will do". Later when I got an error while printing out the label I called it to the attention of the staff and without even leaving his place he said "calll customer service". This was beyond ridiculous. If I have to call customer service from inside a fedex location what would he be getting paid for? I did call customer service because I was desperate to ship the package - I was advised to go to a fedex location and when I told them I was actually calling from inside one, they obviously could not believe it. This was incompetence dressed in Fedex uniform. I had finally seen enough. I went straight to UPS where I was not given any self-service BS. She printed out return labels, envelopes, packed it all in and took care of everything while I waited - even though we arrived just 5 minutes before closing time and she was feeling under the weather she was extremely courteous. The store is well equipped, its just very poorly staffed. I have been to this store several times before and its never been this bad. read more

We had to ship some very sensitive documents to our adoption agency, so I chose to go with FedEx. I had never really sent anything via FedEx before and was a little unsure about some things. FedEx employee Tim was amazingly helpful in making sure that my shipment went out correctly. He was warm and friendly and took his time to thoroughly answer my questions. I came back a week later to ship something else and received the same kind of warm greeting and cheerful assistance. Given that some of these matters for us are stressful, to be able to stop by this FedEx location and get such helpful and friendly customer service meant more than you might even know. Yes, this is an overly priced print shop. Yes, during peak hours they often don't have enough employees to get you in/out quickly. And yes, paying for internet here will bankrupt you. But you knew that when you walked in. And the helpfulness and efficiency of the employees at this particular location takes the edge off of all the above. I have never been assisted so quickly and eagerly at any other Kinko's/FedEx location, and I've been to plenty around the country. The self-service copiers all work very well, and they even recently added a self-service laminating station. This store has never screwed up an order, and I've always been able to drop in and walk out in under 2 hours (usually under an hour) even for large projects. I love this location. read more
