It feels silly to review a FedEx Ship Center, but they tend to vary in service, so I suppose it's beneficial. For such a hub of shipping activity, this location is run well. I drop off packages for work now and then, and just recently had to visit quite a few times to ship boxes for Christmas. I always print out labels at home, so when I come in, I make sure an employee sees me and directs me where to drop my boxes. They scan them quickly after I leave, with is always a source of relief for me, and there never seems to be much of a line. Pleasant dealing with them. read more

This shipment was extremely important, yet after multiple calls from both myself and my mother, we still cannot get proper follow-up or accountability from customer service. At this point, we have had to investigate and search for the package ourselves. We located the home where it appears to have been delivered, but the residents are not answering the door or responding to notes left behind. Customers should not have to play detective to recover packages that FedEx failed to deliver correctly. Federal Express is a joke. They have repeatedly delivered packages to my house that were clearly addressed to either one of my neighbors down the street or across the city. Last year I couldn't get them to pick up a misdelivered package. The lady on the complaint desk was totally unhelpful. So, I drove the two miles or so to the correct address and delivered it myself. A few weeks ago, I got three misaddressed packages in one week on three separate days. This week I have gotten another three misaddressed packages left on my front porch on three separate days. Fedex use to be the best you can get for shipping anything. Now they just don't care. I ordered brake parts on Monday and got a confirmed delivery by end of day on Thursday. The didn't and when I attempted to get an online status it showed the same delivery by end of day Thursday. I called customer service (that's another review by itself) after endless automated prompts I got a live rep who checked and found out the package hadn't reached the regional warehouse in Hagerstown, MD. Here's my issue if there were delays why didn't the system indicate delays. There has been bad weather so that would have been reasonable to state it. They never said there were delays even when talking to the rep she didn't say there were delays of any type. That's not good customer service, it's borderline intentional deceit.
