Takeout experience: The takeout process was easy and seamless. We ordered online from the website. It was ready right on time as it was scheduled online, and it was seamless pickup. They texted and emailed my order details which was helpful. Food: We ordered the lamb biryani which was flavorful... and SPICY! there isn't an option to choose a spice level here, so just make sure if you're ordering this you have a tolerance to spice. It was definitely one of my favorite dishes we ordered here! We ordered 3 curries, and it came with 3 complementary boxes of white rice! I appreciate we didn't have to specifically order a separate side of rice. Also liked the chicken saag. The vegetable curry sauce was good. We ordered the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala. While they tasted good, the two dishes tasted the same; they were indistinguishable. They had labels on their containers, but tbh it didn't matter. That was just our experience - everyone in our party felt the same way. Overall, the food was good and we'd order from here / come to dine here again. Just would probably not double up on the latter two dishes.

What can I say????…read more Super good! I went for Pho mainly. I was going to try a different restaurant the day before called Pho Vietnam, but they put a bad taste in my mouth before I could even try it. I'm glad I didn't, and I'm glad I tried this place instead. Menu has a good selection. Seems like also some Chinese American food. I got a Thai tea; which was amazing. I ordered a grilled beef banh mi that came with a side salad! Sooo big and huge.. Then I ordered steak pho with tendon... I ordered a small and it was more than enough. Good portions, flavorful and had some good depth. Good amount of veggies to add to pho.. I dipped my banh mi into the pho and that takes it to another level. It was nice inside the restaurant, the ambiance was nice and calm...service was good and helpful. I couldn't finish all my food and was able to pack it all up. I will definitely return.

The first…read morething that stood out was the restaurant itself--the ambiance is very nice, clean, and inviting. On a beautiful summer Friday evening during tourist season, I was a little surprised it wasn't busier because the space creates a great first impression. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken, Mongolian Beef, spring rolls, and two boba teas. The sauces on both entrées had good flavor, but unfortunately the proteins were the weak point of the meal. The chicken was fair, but the beef was extremely tough and dry. The texture was so chewy that it almost felt like beef jerky that had been rehydrated in sauce. The rice also didn't seem fresh and fluffy as I would have expected. The spring rolls were easily the best part of the meal. They were fresh, flavorful, and the highlight of everything we ordered. The boba teas were a bit underwhelming. They were so sweet that the sweetness completely overpowered the tea flavor, making it difficult to appreciate the drink itself. Our total came to about $64, including a 15% tip on a pickup order. At that price point, I expected better quality and value, especially considering the portion size of the Mongolian Beef. I genuinely want local restaurants to succeed, and Pacific Rim has a nice atmosphere and some promising flavors. However, based on this experience, the quality did not match the price. I think more attention to ingredient freshness and execution would go a long way. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because I'd like to see the food live up to the potential of the restaurant itself.

I don't know what it's like when it's busy because on the day we arrived, the entire area was a ghost town. Not even sleepy - no cars on the road and this cafe was even still opening. Walk in, order and find a seat. Not a lot of seating but there's both indoors and out. We chose to sit indoors as it was a little warm and I didn't want to be out under the sun. See pics of the food. Wanted salad. I tend to always want salad. Went with the Springfield. Crisp and fresh - really enjoyed the toppings and dressing. Harmony. That's how I'd describe this salad. I'd definitely have it again. Grabbed the Hot Springs. Wanted a cold sandwich. Wanted an Italian. Closest I could find and the vinaigrette was even on the side so I could add as much or as little as I wanted. I remember enjoying this sandwich so much I considered grabbing a second for the road. However, we're traveling and gotta try other foods and places. This would be one place I'd go back to if or when I find myself back in Rapid City. This cafe is connected to the brewery (Hay Camp Brewing). In fact, that's where the restrooms are if you need it.

After being inundated with burgers, I felt like something a little lighter/healthier was in order. AMBIANCE - just off the main strip of downtown Rapid City you'll find this cafe. Cafe is spacious and clean, and is connected to a brewery where, if you're inclined to do so, they will bring your food over to you while you sit there. The Brewery has board games you can play at your table and a variety of pinball machines. SERVICE - service was....ok. I was asking the guy about one of the toppings on the sandwich and he looked at me like I was an alien. Maybe it was his first day? Not sure. He was nice, but not as knowledgeable as you might like for someone working the register. MENU - they had a pretty good mix of sandwiches (hot and cold), and also had a few sides. I also saw they had some homemade lemonades and such, which I was tempted to try, but did not end up trying instead. FOOD - my wife and mother got the badlands sandwich which had roasted sirloin mushrooms, swiss and and side of horeradish mayo. My mom and I both did the rapid city which kind of seemed like a philly cheesesteak sandwich (grilled beef, onions, peppers, jalapenos, smoked gouda with a lime cilantro), while my kids rocked the pastrami. The sandwiches were a pretty good size (at almost $20 a piece, they better be). My kids thought the pastrami was good and after days of burgers, it was a nice change up. My wife liked her sandwich, which was mostly carried by the horseradish mayo. My mom and I thought our sandwiches were just...ok. The meat needed salt, and the lime cilantro was not very flavorful. I ended up stealing some of my wife's horseradish mayo which helped, but just a bit. OVERALL - good not great. Wish the meat was a little more flavorful and the food came out a bit quicker (there was only one order ahead of us and it took a good 20-30 minutes to get our food). Not sure I'd come back. This spot is run by a lovely couple, with the wife juggling both the register and the kitchen. I ordered the Chicken Coconut Milk Curry (boneless chicken thigh simmered in a rich, creamy coconut milk curry). The flavor was fantastic -- a smooth curry with just the right touch of coconut. The chicken was incredibly tender, though I do wish they had given a bit more of it. I also tried the Papor (two pieces), a deep‑fried flatbread made from bean flour. I don't usually go for fried foods, but this was delicious and totally worth it. Last thing I ordered was the Mango Rice Pudding, it was delicious. From now on, whenever I travel, I'll definitely be checking to see if there are any Bengali restaurants in the area. This place reminded me how special and comforting truly authentic food can be.

My husband is from India and cooks a lot, so I could probably be considered a food snob in this department lol. However, I couldn't help but leave an honest review so the public knows what they're getting. The restaurant is old and small. But this isn't a big deal, they have enough seating. Capacity for this place is 35 per their signage. I don't mind eating at hole in the walls and we travel abroad a lot so I've eaten in many variations of food stops. But this review is for those who are wanting to know how this specific restaurant is- it's at the bare minimum in terms of cleanliness. It's not dirty; it's just old and not well kept. We were greeted by a female and I believe she was 1 of 2 cooks. So it's definitely that home cooked style- which is great! I got butter chicken (im basic) and my husband got paneer tikka masala. The flavors were just ok compared to other places we've had. The curries were lacking a little flavor. I did order 4/5 spice out of 10 so that could be why, but even then- when you order mild at places you still can taste the masalas. They gave us a generous portion of rice. Now the butter naan. Was tiny little squares.. I don't think they make it in house. The bread is giving store bought. Just fyi- don't expect nice crispy & fluffy naan. Overall, the people were super friendly.. they have lots of great options on the menu. But due to the flavors and the naan seeming to be store bought.. watered down fountain drinks.. I'd give it 3 stars! This does not mean they were awful, this is just an honest review. When I give 4 & 5 stars; it's truly an amazing dining experience.
