Took 12 days to get the overnight delivery of my wallet that was lost at the San Francisco airport. After shipping it up and down the coast past my house multiple times I had to put a hold on it and drive 20 miles to the SLO FedEx hub to retrieve it . Turns out the last digit of my zip code was incorrectly changed from a 0 to a 4. I called multiple times every day to find out what was going on and support promised to call the location where it was heading and get it corrected but that never happened. Had they looked at my account information it would have been obvious that the zip code was wrong. Terrible service and they charged me $50. read more

Great friendly service on shipping an envelope, and help with labeling and mailing. Smiling attendant was helping about 9 people while I was there, and was very fast and efficient. This very busy place is located near the airport to expedite the shipments! Very reasonable fee for three day delivery! I avoid FedEx like the plague. Anytime. I've had to receive a delivery from them. , they have missed their delivery window by at least 2 hours. Am I inflating that number? No. I have all the past text messages from them to look back on. If you're going to offer a delivery window, honor it; otherwise, it feels like you don't value your customer's. I honestly will pay more at UPS just because of the poor delivery serive I get. read more

I placed an order with a company that uses FedEx for shipping. (NEVER AGAIN!) The day AFTER my shipment was supposed to be delivered, I saw that FedEx tracking said that it was not delivered and instead was sent back to the shipper for no apparent reason. I called FedEx and they told me that they no longer delivered to PO boxes (as of the day before!), even though I've received shipments at the same address from the company I placed the order with. I was not notified about this in any way - I had to find out by looking it up. And why wouldn't they just deliver any packages that were already shipped and THEN notify customers that they would not be delivering to PO boxes in the future? Horrible!! The FedEx rep I spoke to that morning told me I could pick up the package at my local facility, which is 30 miles away. I then drove all that way only to be told by FedEx that the shipper had an auto return policy, which means the package got sent back immediately instead of waiting the normal five business days. WHY DID THE FEDEX REP TELL ME THAT I COULD PICK IT UP IF THAT WAS THE CASE?!? The girl working in the office also tried to tell me that FedEx hasn't delivered the PO boxes for a long time, which I know is not true since I've received several FedEx shipments at my PO Box recently. FedEx wasted an hour of my time today and returned a shipment that was vitally important for my health. Now I'm scrambling to try to get the shipper to reship the package so I can have the supplements that I urgently need. SHAME ON YOU FEDEX! ABSOLUTELY REPREHENSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND I WILL BE BOYCOTTING ANY COMPANIES THAT USE FEDEX FOR SHIPPING FOR NOW ON. read more

I love FedEx! Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the carrier for my area but she's great! I live in Santa Margarita and have had numerous problems getting my packages delivered by Ontrac. (They are horrible! - see my review of them.) While Ontrac doesn't even bother to drive down my street, my FedEx carrier often delivers right to my front door - even though leaving it at the front gate is good enough. They make the extra effort. Tracking shows it getting delivered and its actually been delivered! What a concept! While Ontrac lies about their deliveries and consistently doesn't deliver at all, I have complete confidence when I see my order is being shipping by FedEx. I know I'll get it. Thanks FedEx! And give my carrier a raise! ;) read more

My uncle was visiting from Chicago and decided to have his bike shipped so we could ride while he was here. The bike arrived in poor condition and needed to be repaired before riding, the fault was inconclusive of shipping vs packing (packing was by a professional bike shop). I packed the bike for return as cushy as possible thankfully because as the driver handled the box like a bale of hay, flipping in inside down...landing hard on the street. When we asked him to please be more careful he replied that it's okay because we are sending it back...whatever that means? The bike was recieved with only minor damage. My advice to anyone shipping a bike is never do it with FedEx; unless it's your only choice and then strap it down and bubble wrap all parts triple. read more

Drivers cannot read simple address, this is the second time in 2 months they have delivered my stuff to the wrong address. 472 yet they deliver it to 427. Maybe they need to hire drivers that aren't dyslexic and or give a darn about getting the packages to the right address. If I could leave zero stars I would; I asked them to return a package to the sender, and the person helping me basically said they wouldn't do it because they'd have to pay for it. And I read their FedEx return to sender policies and then she said she'd "try" to return it to the sender. Fast forward 2 days later, they return the package to me, and after contacting the actual sender, they said FedEx didn't even attempt to return it to them!! FedEx should be the definition for customer service in the dictionary! Our driver attempted delivery of my brand new iPhone 7 Plus that I ordered online over a month ago. The shipper required a signature so they could not just leave the package at the door. Having to wait so long for the brand new product, I was super anxious to receive it only to find out that I would have to wait another day. When I called FedEx they stated that it would be impossible to hold the package at the office the next day due to restrictions requested by the shipper - not their fault. However after talking to a nice customer service person, they spoke with the local office and were able to bypass the restrictions so that I could pick it up tomorrow (since I wasn't going to be home then either) HOWEVER - the driver, who was still in the general area, made a second attempt to deliver the package stating that she didn't want to take it back to the office knowing how far it was for us to drive there to get it (almost an hour). Someone was home at that time and I now have the package and won't be inconvenienced at all going to pick it up. Thank you FedEx for always going the extra mile (no pun intended) in offering the best customer service there is!! read more

This location is great if you're shipping paper in which case you would likely go elsewhere, like USPS. But in this world things need be done which are not so typical, such as haz-mat shipments which FedEx prides itself in effectively transacting. Unfortunately, FedEx does not staff this location with personnel knowledgeable in such shipments. Most recently an employee placed a sticky note atop a declaration of dangerous goods which subsequently led to a rejected shipment. FedEx nonetheless invoices the customer sending them on a three-month, twenty phone call journey disputing the charges. After this, the rejected package is returned damaged. Customer service here is awesome. I don't use FedEx often, just a few times a year, and I do not have a FedEx account. The folks at the downtown location on Chorro have always left me feeling like I'm an inconvenience, and not worth their time to help. Today, I left the Chorro office, once again, was made to feel crummy about needing help, so I left and went to Fiero. Lady here was awesome. And whenever they deliver to me, it's pretty much put the package anywhere on my porch, and don't ring the doorbell so it gets all wet (if it's raining because for some reason, fedex loves to put my packages where they will get soaking) read more

Today I got a conformation that my package was delivered. I immediately called my brother in law to go outside and retrieved it and he tells me that there is no package outside for me. I go home and check the front of the house and then I check the carport area incase they placed it out there for me, my package was no where to be found. I immediately give customer service a call and they say that they would follow up with the driver and according to the driver it got delivered the the front door or carport area and they can't say exactly. I request that they send the driver back to show me exactly where she put it that was about two hours ago and i still haven't heard back. I tried calling customer service and they tell me we are sorry but it shows here that your package was delivered, and all I was calling for was to see if they spoke with the driver and if she was going to come back. They tell me they can't help me with that and that I would have to wait until tomorrow to hear back. It's very disappointing how FedEx Customer service conduct them self I didn't pay for two day shipping for my package to get lost and for them to tell me we are sorry there's nothing we can do you just have to wait. I suggest to anyone that is having a package delivered by FedEx to just have them hold your package god forbid they lose yours too read more
