It's pretty enjoyable walking my dog through the store and watching her eyes and nose go nuts in the treat isle. The staff members have always been super polite and knowledgeable with any questions I had. I haven't tried the self grooming stations yet but they're always spotless and you never get the dirty animal smell in there. Definitely worth checking out

They take very good care of the animals and can answer just about any question you have about your pets. They have EVERYTHING you need - vaccines, food, habitats, treats, pet care products, I mean any and everything. We went there one night and the guys working were taking care of this little ragged looking kitten who was meowing in pain and bleeding. Well, some rotten person had shoved a kitten into the Critter Shop's old milk shoot in the back of the building and luckily a lady walking to the store heard him and alerted the staff. They took him inside, got him healthy again, and named him Keyboard because that's where he loves to sleep. They fattened him up, gave him a cute little collar, and gave him a home right in the shop and the cat is LOVING it. They've had him for about 3 years now and he is just the coolest cat ever. They could have easily just put the cat outside or gave it to a shelter, but they decided to get it healthy and give it a home and for that reason alone, I will always be a loyal customer!

She told me it was put into notes that I was to stay in store? Then if that was the case, why she did not tell me. In fact why didn't anyone else mention it on prior services? Today I paid for a Pawdicure, and only received a nail trim. Yes, I called to complain and now I'm asking for a full Refund. When I asked the manager about my dogs paws and the residue and hair, she said I have to request that. If you pay for a Pawdicure why do I need to reiterate that, it's included..... SMH! Today is the last day my dog will ever return. I was a customer almost a year, and this will be the last time they see us or our business!!!!

Probably one of the oldest marine fish and coral store in Michigan. They have allot of rare corals…read moreand do propagating and grow out on site. Just a huge selection of corals. Also a huge variety of marine fish from sharks to clowns take your pick. What's interesting is how they have there tanks setup, no skimmer and really no modern techniques. Everything is run using under ground filters, very interesting. The huge grow out tanks they have are only using airlifts, very impressive results. The prices seem good and staff knowledgeable.
