Two of us went in at 9:20, the place opens at 9:00 am and asked for the half hour foot massage. There were two women that seemed to be working there. One came out and told us to come back in an hour. That didn't work with our schedule, as we were just in town for a few days and had tours scheduled. We started to leave and then went back in asking if we went one at a time that would be better and we could start now... I am not sure if they didn't understand what we were asking, but there was an annoyed vibe and we were sort of yelled at and reminded we were told to come back in one hour. The prices might be great, and the reviews of the actual services seem high, but the customer service was severely lacking. read more

This place is a crap shoot, you never know what you're going to get. Make an appt. and still wait 20 minutes. Chance a walk in appt and it's 50/50. Today I waited 45 minutes for a 60 minute massage and they cut me short after 40 minutes. I've had better experiences there but today was not one. read more

Came here with my sister, and we both signed up for the full body massage. The masseurs were friendly, but they didn't seem to be able to use enough pressure, even though we requested repeatedly for more force. Didn't feel like any of my knots got sorted, which I have been able to in other massage shops. Also, we got shady vibes from this place, and it didn't help that there we spotted a used condom just outside on the pavement. Bathroom wasn't that clean. read more

Ok no. First of all, I kindly asked the guy to be careful of my hair because I had tape in extensions. What's the first thing he does? PULLS ON MY HAIR. I'm lucky he didn't pull my hair out. The massage was decent and what I expected for a foot spa. BUT THEN, when paying I mentioned the $5 off for the yelp check in and the lady GRABS MY PHONE and presses the 5 star rating and tells me to write something nice. I went there for the first time last night with a friend of mine and we both loved it. We showed up without appointments and were able to get started with our treatments within ten minutes. They seem to have a small staff, so if you're going with a group you might want to make reservations. I'm not sure that they would understand English over the phone, so if you don't speak Chinese you should probably make reservations in person. There's definitely better decor and a more relaxing atmosphere than reflexology spas I've been to in other parts of the country. For those who don't know what a treatment at a reflexology spa is like, first you get a foot soak in hot herbal water. Then, you get a massage over your whole body while your feet soak. After that, you get reflexology massage to your feet. Asian massage styles tend to be more vigorous and rejuvenating than your typical Swedish massage, but it's still very relaxing and definitely relieves aching muscles. The $30 price is definitely worth it, but make sure to bring cash for a tip. read more

Ok, here's the situation at this massage place. My friend and I called about 45 minutes in advance and asked about a full body massage. The guy we talked to on the phone was very nice and told us the price was going to be $70 each for the one hour massage. He asked our names and told us that two girls would be waiting for us. We showed up 45 minutes later and we had two girls show us to two separate private rooms. I had a girl named Linda. I got undressed for the massage. She was young, friendly, and gorgeous. She was a total pro and I immediately started to relax. She totally knew what she was doing and I just tried to not make too much noise as she worked me over while I was on my stomach. I told her that it felt amazing and she said "thank you." After massaging with powder and oil she completely cleaned off my back and legs with a really hot towel. Then she told me to turn over and she did my front side. I felt like she totally enjoyed what she was doing and that she authentically loved men. I could have stayed there for hours. I told her that I wanted to come back for a massage every day. At the end she thanked me and said that I was really good because I was able to relax my muscles and that made her job easier. She was like an angel. I left there on a complete high. This is the ONLY place I would go for a massage in Portland. My friend had a similar experience but he told me that two different girls were involved in his massage experience. He told me they were both really nice and the second one was even more beautiful than the first. I read some other reviews on here where they changed the massage person during the massage. In my case though I had the same girl the whole time. You might want to clarify that. Then again maybe you want multiple people working on you. I personally was completely stoked, as I mentioned. I'm glad I had this girl Linda. I hope she is there next time I go to this place. .. if it's possible to request a specific person I will ask for her. If you go to this place just be respectful and normal. I noticed that people were having problems with the $5.00 coupon. You don't need the coupon. You will WANT to pay more, trust me. read more

So, this was a first for my friend and me, and we weren't really sure what to expect. The language barrier was an issue in that we weren't aware that the foot massage we wanted would actually be a full-body massage and that instead of 30 minutes, it was a full hour. Also, there isn't much in the way of prepping customers for what they're about to experience, so I found it surprising when lotion was put on my face and they just started rubbing my face, my head, my neck. I really didn't want or like the lotion, and as I mentioned, it was surprising to know this would be happening, but I eventually quit trying to figure it out and just let it happen. :) After all was said and done, we both thought that the massage was INCREDIBLE. Seriously, I went in with a neck that had been sore and stiff for over a week and left there able to move my head and neck freely. The price is amazing as well. My only issues are the communication ( I'd like to know exactly what I'm signing up for) and the lotion. Next time, however, (and I will definitely go back) I will know what to expect, but I will bring my own lotion. (The stuff they used was okay, but it was too oily for my skin and I went home and washed it all off right away.) read more
