Had to meet friends for Ranger Game and was a bit early. Checked Yelp and folks recommended the Thai wings at the restaurant /pub. I had to give it a shot. Pleasantly surprised as wings were very good. I'm not crazy about sweet but these were medium on the sweet scale so perfect for my pallet. Also they have as stock vino. Chateau St Michelle (Indian Wells) which is better than most for Washington State wines. Service was slow at first (had to work at being recognized even though place was not super busy). It's a Irish bar/restaurant down the street from the Garden that has all of the sophisticated qualities of a good happy hour or post-game dinner/drink spot without the craziness [ie. it's next door neighbor Stout]. Our group of six visited after a game and were given a table by the fireplace in their dining room. The main room and bar was pumping some loud music but the dining room offered a little relief... Menu offers up a nice variety of beers and ciders, and also a couple pages worth of delicious sounding comfort foods. Roast beef sandwiches, fish and chips, bleu cheese fondue w/ house made chips. Tell me those don't sound good!? I ordered up a turkey burger (with apple and honey mustard) but swapped out the brie for their maytag bleu cheese. and I'm so glad I made that switch - the bleu cheese was sooo good on the burger. Combination of cheese, zesty mustard, and crisp tart apples was awesome. I'd order it again for sure. A couple other notes - - Price point was good, especially for midtown/right by the Garden... my burger with fries was $11. - Bathrooms were really clean! - Our waitress was great throughout the entire meal but was hard to find when it came time to pay the bill... we had to go and ask the hostess to send her over. I joined some friends for a Christmas dinner and drinks hang and since the neighboring Stout couldn't accept a reservation due to being booked we opted for Feile. It was my very first time in the place and while I thought we would be in the main bar space, we instead were sitting in the side dining area at a table. In a sense this was nicer since it kept us all focused as opposed to being at the general bar where distractions often come up. It was a pretty busy night but we didn't wait too long for drinks. We had two servers in the vicinity with Danielle and Wendy who were always smiling and ready to bring over whatever we needed next. We kept to pints of assorted beers and while one friend had a Guinness the rest of us had an IPA whose name escaped me. It was tasty though. Foodwise we kept to appetizers and all shared a loaded french fries, chicken wings, chicken tenders and some macaroni and cheese balls. I'll have my work ahead of me on Foodspotting.com that's for sure. Each of these were tasty and according to the menu ran about $11 - $13 apiece. Perhaps a little pricey but it is NYC in Midtown so you are not going to find $5 wing baskets in all honesty. There was a free WiFi signal available and that allowed me to share our gathering on Facebook since that is a par for the course action nowadays and after a few hours together it was on to another spot for some of us while the rest headed home. A good place with a very classy vibe and not too noisy either. We were able to have good conversation but perhaps in the larger open bar space this was not as easy. Nice work Feile. This is my spot to watch the Seahawks games. They have a large establishment with lots of TVs to watch the game. They are LARGE and they are a UW bar too, so its nice to come here and MAYBE run into a few Seattleites. Washingtonians. The menu has Seattle dogs and imitation dick burgers. Delicious. I really love the service and they took care of us the last super bowl. They had news people, everything going on in this bar, and it was very accommodating and they had even a table for us when we got there, which was HUGE. we didn't have to pay to get in and we defiantly ate a lot of food, drinks, and shots... It was a little depressed after the game, because we didn't win, but you know what we are an amazing team and I can't wait to see what this season is about. I love you Pete Carroll. Other Seahawk bars... Eastlo is cool, but they always had issues when I went with the TV. They also don't have any food and the selection of adult beverages weren't a large selection. This place is okay. it is a convenient bar near Penn Station. Its a good meeting place and can get very crowded around that after work 5-6 hour. If you have a little more time, the crowd starts to die down around 7/7:30. I had the salmon burger which wasn't as great as I had hoped. My friend had the wings which I tasted. It seemed like the sauce was brushed on instead of covering the wings bc there were definitely some parts of the wings that were still dry. The drinks on the other hand are pretty good. I just loved Feile! My friend and I went in on Saturday afternoon for lunch and we had and absolutely lovely meal. First, the place was inviting and immaculate. The service was friendly and prompt. I had a delicious grilled vegetable sandwich served with the most wonderfully perfectly crisp french fries I quite possibly ever had. My friend had a chicken sandwich that she thoroughly enjoyed as well. Though we didn't eat the typical Irish fare, they serve it here. We actually came in after reading another reviewer's comments about the burgers. Didn't hurt that this place is close to Penn Station too. Service was terrific. I know I said that already, but our waiter Tim was attentive and always there when we needed him. Today I was introduced to their "Pasta Special", and let me tell you, my limited vocabulary might not even be able to describe how exquisite of a meal this was. It was a pasta and braised short rib infusion, topped off by a perfectly proportioned piece of burrata. From the preparation, to the presentation, to the aroma, I had to hold myself back from devouring it. I'd even go as far to say it competes with my mother's home cook meals, and that says a lot! Stopped here before I had to catch my bus out of town to use the restroom, and because they were kind enough to let me use the restroom i decided to become a paying customer. I ordered the Chicken Littles with extra sweet chili sauce, and they were WONDERFUL! Deliciously crispy and fried but not oily or greasy AT ALL. The sweet chili sauce was a great accompaniment, and I wish I had gotten EXTRA extra. For drinks, I ordered the Blackberry Basil Margarita, and it was so good I ordered a second and fought myself hard on getting a third. My last drink was a simple bottle of Budweiser, which I got in honor of my dad and best friend who passed away 14 years ago this coming Wednesday. Now I never mentioned this to the Bartender, but when he brought me the check he told me the Budweiser (it's an Irish pub so he called it a 'pint,' but I knew exactly what he was referring to) was no charge. I gave him the biggest tip I could afford, for the great drinks and food and PHENOMENAL service. I'll be sure to stop back in on my next visit back home. read more

Sorry but the star is well deserved. If you walk into an Irish pub/ restaurant at 6:30 on a Friday night and the bar is not three people deep. Walk away as quick as you can. This place looked good from the outside. The menu seemed decent and my wife said the roast beef sandwich seemed Interesting. We were ushered to our table quickly. The place was scant on people. Loud but clearly not busy at all. Took forever to get one drink at the table. The waitress gave the impression she could take the order by just looking at me. I'll admit I'm pretty damn good looking and maybe it was a nervous thing. But she totally screwed the order. The roast beef sandwich was so so . A bit dry but ok. The chicken was dry as if though it was made yesterday and they nuked it. It was microwaved hard (you know you've done this at home) .. The second drink came after the meal was done even though it was ordered half way through. Overall this place was a disappointment. Lesson: don't eat at some irish place. Just drink and be weary of massive delays in getting that drink when the place is less than 1/4 full. Finally to my waitress. Buy a notepad. We walked in from the cold and thought a beer or two would fix our problems ended up ordering food and wine, salad with UNBELIEVABLE SHrimp, tomato soup, charcuterie plate so good, wine choices so good, we ended up ordering random plates as our party grew and we had an unbelievable time. First of all, it's pronounced "Fay-La." Glad we got that out of the way. If I could, I'd give Feile 3.5 stars, but since I can't and I'm in a good mood, I'm rounding up. Let's start with the good: - Feile has replaced Fat Annie's Truck Stop (aka FATS), which didn't look particularly nice from the outside. - There's an EXTENSIVE beer list, and an equally impressive whiskey list. Not that I imbibed during lunch, but it's good to know the option is there. - The "Frank's Angry Blue Cheese Burger" was really good. I was a bit concerned that the hot sauce would overpower the taste of the meat, blue cheese, and crispy fried onions also on the sandwich, but it really didn't. It just provided a little bit of kick and a nice flavor. I definitely wouldn't call it hot, and future diners should have no fear of being smoked out by the heat. - The service was very good, friendly, and fast. - Those attending events at MSG now have a second option in addition to Stout. They're owned by the same group, and Feile feels like Stout's little brother. The menu is very similar, as is the look and feel. It should be able to handle the Stout overflow better than FATS did. - The music was good. Classic rock was on the dial, and my only complaint would be having to hear Fleetwood Mac, who I hate, but that's a different review for a different place... Where did Feile loose points? - Originality. As I mentioned, it feels like Stout, Jr. And yes, it's both a good thing and a bad thing. - They don't serve Coca-Cola products. Their soda provider is RC Cola. Really? That still exists? At least it's not Pepsi. Also, they charged me $1 for a refill. Not a huge deal, but pretty lame. - The "regular" burger comes with bread and butter pickles. I love pickles, but bread and butter pickles are NASTY! That's why I went with the Angry burger instead. But what if I wanted a regular burger? I can't have a regular burger without pickles! In a neighborhood hurting for decent spots, Feile is a welcome addition. read more

I love this bar! Especially when my Hawks are playing! For a Seattle girl, being this place feels just like home from the Dawg decor to the 12th man flag flying high (not to mention fellow 12s!) - stepping through the front doors I forget that I am in the Big Apple. This is my go to spot on Sunday to watch the Seahawks dominate. Don't worry about hurting your neck or having to squint to see whats going on at a distance screen, TVs are visible at each and every angle that you turn in this bar. And during the game, each screen is playing the same thing! (Funny thing, during the Eagles game there was a moment when the game became unavailable and the bar became eerily quiet.) While I have been here on multiple occasions I have only feasted upon dishes on their game day menus. Primarily consisting of wings, burgers, chips, nachos, fries - the usual game day bites. Their wings are solid, unbreaded and very flavorful and juicy. I got the chips with salsa and homemade guac but wasnt too impressed with it. It needed a bit of salt and pepper to perk everything up and after a bit got a bit too watery for me since the two were served alongside in a single dish. One thing that I do love about Feile is how they weave little relics of Seattle into their menu and atmosphere. I have already mentioned their decor but they have also recreated some hometown classics in their menus. Last weekend I feasted on Feiles version of the Dick's Special. And while it wasn't as smushed up, gooey and artery clogging as the original it was pretty damn good. They also have a Seattle dog on their menu, which for those of you who haven't had the drunken pleasure of tasting its essentially piled with the usual suspects and a healthy dollop of cream cheese. Three Irish pubs back to back on West 33rd Street in Midtown West in direct competition... eeny, meeny, miny, moe, which one shall my party of two go? Féile. On a stifling hot Sunday with a party of two for Sunday dinner cool down and to indulge one Caesar salad and one chicken pot pie. My Caesar salad was sufficient to mellow my stomach and customer service is average. Féile is a Irish pub with the traditional Irish staples of Shepherd's Pie, but disappointingly no Boxty, Bacon and cabbage. They embed the Celtic knot imagine. No alcohol intake for either of us. Ironically in a Irish pub their TVs are plastered throughout the pub playing the renowned Irish band U2's 2008 full concert film "U2 3D" performance during their Vertigo Tour in 2006. I LOVE, LOVE U2!! Staff was kind to allow us to sit after paying the bill while absorbing the cool air conditioning environment to calm both our respective lungs from asthma and watch U2. We were not rushed out due to high volume table turnover. I am surprised no Van Morrison or Enya music were being played as they are both renowned Irish musicians. Great place to grab some late night drinks and food after an evening at Madison Square Garden! Just a stone's throw from the venue, my group and I were delighted to come in from the cold and snuggle into the cozy, darkly wooded interior of this establishment. (We actually went to another Irish bar first only to find out the kitchen had closed... they directed us to Feile, which has got to tell you something!) We ordered Loaded Chips, Bacon Mac & Cheese Bites, Bourbon BBQ Pig Wings, and a Caesar Salad for the table. SO DELICIOUS!!! Everything was absolutely fabulous. The Loaded Chips (aka Fries) were smothered in bacon, cheddar, scallions, and ranch dressing which was a mouthwatering combination. The velvety insides of the crisply covered Bacon Mac & Cheese Bites satiated my belly while the spicy sour cream dip warmed me up from the inside out. The lettuce in the Caesar Salad was cool and crisp with large chunks of cheese well-complementing the dish. I was so full from the other items that I did not have the opportunity to partake in the Bourbon BBQ Pig Wings but based on the empty plate at the end of our meal, its safe to say they were well-received. I enjoyed perusing the beer list and got to try something I have never had before... an ACE Pineapple Hard Cider. I love pineapple.. and I love cider, so this was a match made in heaven. I am happy that the bar carried this beverage and that I had the pleasure of testing it out. Our waitress was on-point throughout the visit. We had drinks and food in no time despite the large amount of patrons visiting the bar at that time. I would absolutely drop into this place again the next time I am attending an event at MSG. I usually stop by when I am in the MSG/Penn Station area. Feile is right next door to its sister bar Stout, but I am able to get a seat at the bar in Feile. It is an okay "modern" Irish Pub, offering dining options as well as a selection of craft beers and drinks. The price for drinks seems to be a bit high as compared to the small pour I had for my whiskey, but hey, it is not my local spot. I ordered a "cottage pie" (They could not answer when I asked why they did not just call it "Shepherd's Pie" like every other bar in the world - LOL). It tasted fine, but seemed to be a bit bland and not seasoned too much (added tabasco did not help). I sampled a few beers which were nice and cold. Overall, a nice spot to go to when in the area and would like to eat something more that bar food. read more

I was here for dinner, and needless to say my experience was sub-par. Service was unfortunately not great, as they did not bring me the correct order. Additionally, we waited a relatively long time for our plates to be taken away after we finished eating. The place was not too busy, so it was confusing what was taking so long. Glad I had a chance to venture into this Feile during the World Cup. It always feels a little squeezed by Stout, which has really gone downhill over the years of heavy, indiscriminate raging. We came for one of the early games and the place was gloriously empty save a for a few suits, one of whom was watching a Justified on his tablet on an early weekday afternoon--good taste, but guess he's not a soccer fan! The staff here was young but friendly. There's a very good beer list that I didn't sample, it being a workday and all. The food was also better than it needs to be, particularly the Banh Mi Burger, which was first rate. To be sure, it's a bit pricey like its cousin next door, but a dark horse alternative to the other joints on the block. read more
