Came here for breakfast and I was genuinely surprised. I didn't come here with high expectations. After all, I think it's more of a bar than restaurant. However brunch proved me wrong. The prices were good and the food as well. I had the chicken and waffles sandwich and it was tasty. Although my friend had the corned beef hash skillet and I couldn't help but be jealous. The chicken and waffles sandwiches came with fried pickles. I don't like pickles but the batter was delicious. I think there was cheese in it. As I was eating them I just took the pickles out. My table loved them however. The sandwich was also pretty good. Although it did feel small. I also got sticky syrup all over my hand. It was delicious, it came with bacon and cheese. The food is good and the drinks are great price. Great place to watch the game from my experience. However, we were given a receipt with taxes included and proceeded to pay with credit card. AFTER we gave a card to pay, we were emailed a receipt that didnt match the total with taxes. This place charges with a credit card fee AND TAXED on top of that fee with the total amount. Don't book for reserved or private events. Very disappointed by how the staff handled the situation. If someone reserved an area, you should have it ready to go and people cleared out. You can't get mad at the visitors if the staff doesn't clear them out, but like what the heck!! A party reserve for about 50 people and the wait staff tip toed around people at the tables reserved. Not my first choice for grabbing a drink in this neighborhood. I'm sure their actual happy hour is decent. If I ended up coming here during happy hour but for some reason Fridays aren't included. That's such a sneaky way out. But Monday - Thursday until 7pm its $5 garbage (domestic) drafts, $7 slightly better drafts/wells, $6 hard seltzer, $9 wine, $10 sharing bites. I can't speak for the food. I just know that when I came in the two times it was empty and my beer was about $10 not including tip (a smaller canned beer) and this is the world we live in now. It is a huge spacious nice and clean bar though. Can't speak for the food but they have taco wednesdays and trivia apparently here. I'd probably give it another shot someday but probably not on non happy hour times. read more

Came here during the week on my lunch break. Noticed this spot had a sign saying 'Taco Tuesday'. It wasn't crowded during lunch. Ended up ordering the beef tacos. It was solid. I wouldn't go out of my way to get the tacos though. From the reviews, it seems like the chicken sandwich is the way to go here. This is my second or third time coming here for Trivia. On my last visit, it was a bust because nobody showed up! They gave us a free drink of our choice for our troubles, which was a nice gesture. On this past visit, it was vastly different, as the entire bar was packed with people. I waited in the front for the hostess to greet me, but she didn't. So I kinda just walked up to her, which I was surprised I had to do. In the midst of this occurring-- one of the staffers comes up to me and asked me if I was the delivery dude-- I'm like WTH? Nonetheless, we were taken to our seats, the server was decent. I had the Penne Alla Vodka, which was relatively bland and some French Fries, which had way too much salt. Got a recommendation from a local acquaintance to have a burger or melt. I decided to come today before the storm. Place is nearly empty, just a few locals working remotely. Waitstaff immediately said hello and offered water and showed us the drink menu. Beer was super cold and tasty. Hard to choose from the large selection but I settled on a fantastic local brew. Ordered the French Onion melt with cheese and carmelized onions. Wow. Really hit the spot. The sandwich was hot, melty, laden with gooey goodness. The sourdough toast was exactly right. When the bartender/ Manager who says his name is Patrick, gave us the drinks, my friend said her drink taste like juice but she likes it like that. This place is fun and welcoming. I came here after work on a Friday with a friend. The host greeted us at the door and sat us at a good table. We opted to sit more inside towards the back as oppose to right in front. It is a little weird that their Happy Hour menu is only from Monday to Thursday. But they still have a really good variety of items and good prices. The location itself is beautiful. They have a really nice bar. The seats were all high tops with booths along the wall. The table was beautifully set up and even had a candle on it. The bathroom was a little cringy and out dated but it worked. We ended up ordering two appetizers. We got the nachos. It was okay. Nothing too too special. Everything was fresh and tasted good. We also ordered the pretzel. It was HUGE. Super soft and had great flavor. Tooo much course salt on top but that's just my preference, my friend didnt mind the salt. It was served with spicy cheese sauce and mustard, both good. The drinks were on POINT. I got the blood orange Margarita and it was delicious. My friend got the spicy pineapple Margarita and she absolutely loves that drink. I also ended up getting a patron and Coca-Cola. Strong, good. Overall my experience here was great. I cant wait to return and try additional menu items. I highly recommend it here. They can accommodate groups of 2 or even groups of like 10 or more. If you're looking for a quick meal with bar food, here it is! The bar is insanely stocked, with tons of front facing fridges that are filled with seltzers, wines, beers. Their food menu is also pretty expansive. Got the chelsea burger, with a side of fries. Burger itself was fine, nothing outstanding, but it filled me up. Prices are similar to anywhere else in NYC and they have solid brunch deals. Ava provided great service and it was not super packed for brunch which was nice. The general feel of the place is great, very cozy and welcoming vibes. The drinks were absolutely delicious. The service though... was a bit rough. Our waitress took forever to both get our orders and deliver our drinks. Usually I'm one to give them all the time they need, as I get it. Things get busy and hectic very quickly. But we ordered a second round of drinks and didn't even see our waitress for over a half hour and she didn't even bring them as we were forgotten. It's unfortunate that they both lost some business with that and for us cause we really enjoyed our drinks, but we had other plans to get to and couldn't wait any longer. We stopped in for a bite before heading to a comedy show. Both inside and out were pretty busy but the outside patio has purple flowers strung up and plenty of seating for groups of 4-5. They were full outside when we came in so we went inside where you have to show your vaccination card to be seated. It was crowded and pretty loud but they have 2 person booths in the back which creates an intimate setting. We ordered food from the bar and got the chicken tacos and pasta with shrimp. They advertised an all day (Wednesday) taco special but when we asked it was not available. The food came in about 10 minutes and the tacos were delicious. They fill them with refried black beans and the flavors were great! The pasta with shrimp was just as delicious. The shrimp were large and not overcooked. Parmesan shavings on top added the right amount of cheese while the sauce was bursting with flavor. We ate our meal within 15 minutes it was that good. Definitely recommend this spot but it gets 4 stars for not having additional information on the taco Wednesday special (i.e. does it end at a certain time). read more

I was with my family so we took the liberty of ordering a variety of things on the menu: Shepards pie, all types of wings, calamari, Mediterranean naan, chicken tenders, and Mac and cheese. Every single thing we ordered was delicious! Flavor, texture, presentation and temperature of food were beyond perfection. There wasn't a dish that we didn't enjoy. The chefs really know what they're doing. After some time we waited to make room for dessert, where we ordered, the brownie and ice cream, Oreo cheesecake, churros, sorbet and gelato. To put it in simple terms, there wasn't a full dish returned. We left every plate empty! The ambiance and service were A +! The staff is professional and very friendly.
