Initially bought two doors from them due to custom door entry sizes for older home. Installer was not certified as sales pitch mentioned all installers manufacturer certified. Door was wrong size, could feel drafts and see sunlight through the edges of doors. Paid a lot of money for bad treatment from the installer when they had to come back to try to fix the issue. Slamming doors repeatedly to "test" doors, my family and dog were scared. I said it was fine to get them out of the house. Also ordered two other doors to replace old doors anothwr home. Doors were installed at a slant, unevenly. Seems as if manufacturer is "custom" making these doors incorrectly. Save your self time, money and heartache, take your business somewhere else. In 2020 I purchased a condo, had windows put in first, then the next year I had a storm and garage doors put in. The widows leaked (they told me it was on the HOA- HOA said not their problem!!! My paint in my bedroom has a big piece missing from the window installation, and we are still cleaning up left over glass up, and also I found two big nail pieces on the ground. I had a rep come to my house and give me the sales pitch and quote. all he talked about were the expensive items they have. barely breezed over any less expensive options. I agreed, started signing everything. The super fishy thing to me was that they will not give you an itemized quote/bill. Here's the total but nothing that shows how much the windows are, or the door, or the installation, tax, etc. hmmmm.... why not? plus, I wasn't told - I had to ask at the very end, that there was at least a 16 week waiting period for an install. maybe that's standard, but I didn't know as this was my first company I got a quote from. I signed a contract in August. Job was to be done in November. They called in January and said they were coming out. Never showed up. I called several times and left voice messages and no one called back. When I finally got someone after 2 weeks they explained that the job was canceled. Really disappointed since I thought Feldco was a reputable company, but from my experience they are all the same. More like "Failed-Co." Great product but execution was a clusterfuck failure. How many guys does it take to get a proper measurement. It took one feeble tech & one eager salesman and a matter of over a week to fourteen days. I wanted the job completed in 3 weeks. It took FIVE. Once the salesman got his sale he passed us off like a used baton and recommended to call customer service with questions. *Disconnect* Is the overall feeling I got when dealing with anyone. You are an invoice number pending the next step of the sales process and that's it. Until the next step happens, who knows what is happening. During this time there was miscommunication of pricing, quoting, labor, measurements, and so much more. The work was moved from one contractor to the next. Feldco does not do installs they only supply the product and offer contractors that can do the job that they maintain. (This is information given to me by the sales dept) Again it took FIVE weeks instead of the three weeks I had worked hard with the sales guy to get it all accomplished. The windows are good sturdy windows, yes. Great product and did well through the winter season and did as they said in blocking out unnecessary sunlight and UV rays. It's the sales order failures which it took to get them installed and the overall experience which stinks. I don't think I would ever use Feldco again for windows. It's cheaper to buy them via any major retailer and have a contractor install. Even these "high" grade windows are available. I wouldn't add that you score any deals with purchasing from Feldco. You do however get a piece of mind purchasing from a window company. I hope you sense my battle, between the dislike of the experience versus the like of the product. Since the posting of the review Doug has contacted me about this and per that reason I'd bump the review up to 3.5 stars, but Yelp doesn't have that feature. We've recently used them a second time in as many years. They did a great job with great windows the first time, so we hired them again for another window project. The second time was just as great as the first. Pricing has gone up mostly likely because of national inflation, but I would guess every window company is raising their prices. That said, their pricing still seemed competitive. The installer did a nice job and we're very happy with the windows. A pretty good experience from beginning to end with one kink. We called and made an appointment and met with Franco in our home. We wanted to replace the glass block windows in our basement with windows that would allow for an escape in a fire emergency. So, we wanted a very specific product. Franco gave us a great in home demo and explained the product, the warranty, installation, etc very well. We were given a much lower quote from Home Depot's installation department (with lower quality windows) however my husband was so impressed with the presentation by Franco that we decided to go with Feldco. The one blemish on an otherwise great experience was the fact that we had an installation window from 8-10am. No problem, I planned to get my son up just before 8 so that we could get out the door and be out of everyone's hair. Well, that wasn't meant to be as our doorbell was rung promptly at 7:02am by the installation guys. We were all still in bed. I literally stumbled around (and being almost 9 months pregnant, I literally stumbled around) and found my glasses so I could open the door. When I looked blankly at the guy, he said, "We're here with Feldco". I responded, "Our window is 8-10 and it's 7am". He responded, "but it's Saturday". (we stared at each other) I finally said, "what does that mean? Did we hit a different time zone because it's Saturday?". He said, "On Saturday we like to get an early start". Oh. Well that would have been nice to know when I scheduled the appointment and was given a window. So instead of being awoken by me getting him up for the morning so we could get out of the house before installation (like Franco advised), my son was awoken to the smashing and shaking of the house as they removed the glass blocks while I frantically showered and tried to get out the door. The windows look great though and the installation was quick and otherwise event free. read more

WOW! My husband and I are 100% impressed with our Feldco experience. The sales appointment was thorough (though a little longer than we anticipated), a few days later the sales guy sent us a handwritten thank you note (nice touch from a big company!), one week later measurements (quick and painless), and two weeks after that the windows installed! A total of 3 weeks from order to installation - love it! We ordered 10 windows, including one big picture window and paid about $5,500. We went with the Sophia model. 3 guys showed up on installation day and took less than 5 hours total to install and clean up. The caulk job looks awesome and the windows literally sparkle. They had no problem helping my husband take out the 150# window A/C unit and move furniture. I did cover my dining room table and one of my antique furniture pieces, because I was expecting a lot of dust and was shocked to see how clean they left our place - inside and out! My neighbors came over to marvel at our new windows too - all commenting on how great they look and impressed with the efficient installation. From beginning to end, everything went smoothly. Yes, the window is covered but you have to lay $199 to get someone to the house to look at the problem. I know the problem.....the weight at the bottom of the window that keeps it up, fell out. Person wouldn't give us estimate and wouldn't do any measurements Because I owner was not there. I was out of state and offered to FaceTime and look over contract over the email before I signed but they refused to do their job even after speaking with manager. DO NOT USE THEM. They try to sell you on the spot that's why they require owner to be there. So i had windows installed by feldco and after about a year i noticed my drywall swelled in the corner. So i called feldco. We played phone tag for weeks.. when they finally got someone out to check the window the man told me that they didn't put cocking around the window correctly and he pointed out the spots where the water was coming in. Aka feldco ruined my drywall. so he set up a service for me. Not once did he say that i would have to pay anything. Nor did the women on the phone. Her name was Amanda she was rude and very unhelpful. So at that point it was winter and the service appointment didn't happen because it was to cold. Than i had a baby and simply got busy. Not once did they call or text to follow up. So i called them 3 weeks ago and the schedule my Service appointment for today and when the technician came in he pointed out the same spots that needed to be filled in and then he proceeded to tell me it's gonna cost $50. If anything i should be charging you for the drywall that got ruined because of the lack of work ethic!!! I'm so upset i wish i could give them 0 stars. You can get the same windows for 1/2 the price at Home Depot!! Don't waste your time or money this company is garbage! And when i called Amanda to ask her why she didn't tell me there would be a charge she had the nerve to yell at me. After having all new windows and sliding glass door installed in 2014 was initially happy. Recently the sliding glass door has not been opening and closing properly. Called Feldco for service and was told it would cost ~$80 just to have them look at their product and then they would charge separately for labor after they knew what parts were needed. This is not what I consider standing behind your product. A sliding glass door should last more than 6 years without failure. Don't buy from a company that has a separate income stream to service their own products. read more

A product specialist just left my home, and I will never use Feldco because of this man. He appeared friendly at first but after the quote was given, he asked me for my ID and method of payment for the downpayment. When I told him I'd need to think it over and discuss this quote with my boyfriend ($9,000 is not a small expense to just commit to after 10 minutes without discussing it), he got extremely rude, aggressive, and pushy. I understand he's a salesman, but there is no reason to be so hostile or put me on the spot like that. He ended up leaving in silence, and when I said "thank you", he said "ya" and shut the door. He also made me feel uncomfortable in my own home by glancing at my chest twice. I used FeldCo in 2017 to install four new windows. I had an excellent experience. Fast-forward to 2023, when I used the for our more new windows. Nightmare. From start to finish, the entire process took FIVE MONTHS. There were so many errors and so much incompetence, it was almost laughable - had I not shelled out $6000.00 for the windows. For instance, I had to call to get a measurer out (they were supposed to call me). The salesperson had the wrong color exterior on the order. Come time for installation, they cancelled on me the first time. The 2nd time: the guys did not have a ladder to reach the 3rd floor (where I live). Cancel. Reschedule, bring the ladder - nope - cannot be done, because ladder will damage exterior filigree on building. Cancel. Reschedule, install from inside. But they forgot some pieces, so someone had to come out to install missing pieces. For all of my wasted time - they reduced the bill by a whopping $300. I will NEVER RECOMMEND FELDCO. He seemed like a very nice guy at first, until I told him that I wasn't ready to make a decision today. Then he flipped and was taking it personally. I politely told him that I needed time to make this big of a decision. The quote was for about 5k not what you would pay for a bag of chips. All we did was make a mistake of getting a quote on replacing our siding and windows, and WOW. What a hassle this has been. From the reviews listed here, it's clear that these sales people are taught intrusive and rude tactics. Then price gouge while throwing all other vendors under the bus. They have no options, everything is vinyl, and it's clear they make their profits on financing the loans. Our sales man was almost an hour late to the 6:30pm appointment, then took almost 4 hours to quote us. He would not leave. He even stated he felt fine staying for our dinner. It felt very intrusive, rude, and borderline harassment. Then, when he finally wrapped up, he stayed in the driveway for another 30 to 40 minutes. I locked the doors and was ready to call the cops. The best part? 60k quote for a one story home with 16 windows. I was floored. We requested another type of window, which he informed us they only have one brand. So, there are no options for anything cheaper, I guess. AND this price was with their special discounts and end of season sale. Also, due to delays on product and labor shortages, they couldn't do the work until next year anyway? I won't be proceeding with any of this non sense even if I wanted to spend this amount. SKIP THE MIDDLEMAN!! We had a salesperson come to our house, the customer service experience was very efficient and response to our calls and follow up appt reminder was great. However, the salesperson took WAY TOO much time explaining the process and sales pitches. Very annoying, I was thinking GET TO THE POINT ALREADY!! I don't want to know about the entire history of your company blah blah blah. Felt like I was at an MLM presentation. I did like the fact that they had a virtual 3-D model on laptop of our home and garage. However, after the overall price of siding, gutters, soffit and fascia. WHAT A RIPOFF!!! My home is a small 2 story house, only 1,800 square feet. But I figured, why not give it a try. So, after the over 75 minute presentation, They quoted with "free installation" and 5 years no interest loan, and "discounts" It was going to cost us $43,000. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIDICULOUS. I figured, why not try it and see, since they offered the 5 year no interest. WHAT A JOKE. Come to find out they are just double-charging us for hiring another siding company anyway. Update on installation.....well they again were supposed to come install windows a few weeks ago...my son in law stayed home from work and the place called 30 minutes before install time to say a part wasn't in!!!!! WHAT?? So again waited another two weeks to get them installed. But low and behold kept their word and she now has two beautiful picture windows!! By the way the guys that did the install did amazing work. I do see that they have given us a reply here and we will do an update on our talk with them later....stay tuned folks!!!! read more

I had Feldco come over the other day to show me a window in my kitchen. He quoted me a price and then called his office and reduce the price by $200. I changed the window to a cheaper window and the sales person offered me the same discount off of the cheaper window which I didn't understand. When I said I do I have to give you an answer now he said yes it's only contingent on whether you say yes or no today. When I couldn't do it I asked him for his card he wouldn't give me his card and said most people don't call me back anyway so I felt like the time that I just spent with him was wasted I asked him to email me a quote which he didn't so it was just a complete waste of time. We put down a 10% deposit in October and were told there was an 8 week lead time, so work would start in December. Then a 2nd employee came in October to confirm the measurements. The week our work was supposed to begin, we were told the project was cancelled and because of the way our building was designed. So two employees came out to look at our windows, and they kept our deposit for two months, only to cancel the project the week it was supposed to begin. Now we are screwed through the winter because every window replacement has the same 8 week lead time. To make it worse, we initially weren't even provided an explanation for why our project got cancelled. We aren't getting replies to inquiries. Total garbage customer service experience. I had 2 windows installed in two bedrooms and am not at all satisfied with the quality of the windows and the customer service, or lack there of. They first showed up with the wrong windows which was an inconvenience as another appointment had to be made. They show up late the second time only to find out that one of the installers was sitting in the parking lot. I received a $100 check as their way to say "I'm sorry." I also feel like I was lied to !! As for the quality, the bedrooms get a lot of draft, that is especially felt in the winter months. While I know they have a life time warranty, it does not help the current situation!! I would not recommend FELDCO for any future installations. The experience that I have had with Feldco has been the worst customer service and home repair experience I have ever had. I started working with them in November of 2021 for a few back porch windows and storm doors, and as of June 2022, Feldco has not managed to install anything in my home; broken my existing door and damaged my steps; mismeasured my order; cancelled a contract that I had signed without telling me and then refused to refund my money; had someone out at my home to remeasure the door (for the 4th time) without my knowledge; and not responded to phone calls or emails in a timely or professional way. As of this writing, this company has several thousand dollars of mine and has not managed to deliver on any product. Additionally, the first rep at my home sexually harassed me, when I was alone in my home with just my toddler. Avoid this company! read more

My number is secondary on her profile so I can take over from there. Well the girl wouldn't even speak to me because she said my mom is the house owner and she wouldn't even let me get a word in. Well I did inform her My name was on the house also. She still was very rude and wouldn't let me get a word in until I was fed up and said I was going to be the person meeting with them and I am confirming and she still would not listen to me. If Nichole(the person that called me) ends up showing up for my appointment I will throw her out of my house. As for our appointment, I will let feldco come just so I can tell them I no longer want their business and will not recommend their rude customer service to anyone I know!!! Our old ranch house was in need of 21 new windows. Feldco came along and quoted what we needed. Remember to say costs are too high, salesman makes a few calls and suddenly hundreds of dollars could go off as long as we would be open to have before and after pictures to be taken. Windows were delivered and placed in time. Happy with the result and service so far. Now hoping we won't get the issues as posted by others.
