I've been coming here for a couple years for service since I moved. I am ready to drive a little further away to avoid these guys. I do not trust them at all with servicing my car, being honest, or respecting my time. Most recently I had an appointment for a free battery check because there seemed to be a couple electrical things going on. I wanted to rule out the battery. I told them what I had been noticing and what was not working. Sure enough they said it failed a battery test. (Mind you I had been in recently and it had passed then). $500 to replace the battery and guess what the actually issues I was having persist. Clearly the battery was not the problem. Before the service appointment I received a call which I answered as I assumed it was related to the appointment. Nope, just one of their sales people trying to "buy" my car aka sell me a new one. Wasting my time while I was at work. I told him I liked my car and not interested. I'm still getting spam emails from them trying to "buy" my car. These might seem minor and maybe like I just have some trust issues. Except the last time I was in they put my tires on wrong and let me leave with burning rubber and the car vibrating. The smell was horrendous. At first I thought it was a dirty rag they left but it got progressively worse as I tried to go home. To fix it they replaced the perfectly good tires they ruined but who knows what other damage they did. Not sure if it's the mechanics or the guy trying to sell me services that shouldn't be done like rotating my rotational tires. read more

We own two Mercedes vehicle- one newer and one older car.Took old car to Feldman Mercedes for routing Service A oil change. What should have been simple turned into a nightmare. During the service, they broke a part on our vehicle. When we reached out to dealership management Jim Machemehl to address the issue, the customer service was horrible- dismissive, unhelpful, disrespect, disrespectful, and unwilling to take responsibility. We were treated like a problem instead of valued long-term customers. Because of how poorly this was handled, we escalated to Mercedes-Benz USA They reviewed the situation and instructed us to take the car to different Mercedes dealership. That dealership immediately took care of us, providing excellent customer service and even documented the damage with photos, video - that clearly showing that Feldman Mercedes caused the issue. Mercedes- Benz USA ultimately paid for the repair due to the evidence. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience, especially for loyal Mercedes owners. We will never return to Feldman Mercedes and strongly caution others to think twice. I recently purchased a used 2020 Mercedes GLC AMG 63 with 39,000 miles (beautiful, powerful SUV). A week ago, the car heat gauge went red and told me to pull over as the car was over heating. I mentioned that when I brought the car in for service. The car needed a new coolant thermostat. The total cost was an absurd $3,657.98. The parts cost $1,117 and the labor was $2,400.88. Assuming the labor took 8 hours (which is generous), the hourly labor rate comes to $300.11/hr. On top of that, they charge 3% additional if you use a credit card to pay. Not sure how this place stays in business. Needless to say, I will be taking my car to a local import car specialist not named "Mercedes" in the future. read more

No longer sure about this dealership. The perks they use to offer is slowly dwindling and they are not able to set themselves apart from the other Mercedes dealership in the TC anymore. I am particularly upset about the complimentary car wash that they took away. Yes, it's a small perk ... well it's so small I wonder why then it is such a big deal to not offer it still. They tell me right before completing financing. That someone else purchased the car faster than I did. They completed the financing with their team. My question; but how? I was repeatedly called in to come at 4:30 to test drive a Subaru Outback and a Mercedes. I came in, spent 15-20 min waiting, another 10 for them to get keys after I initiated interaction after waiting so long. My mother referred me here to buy a new car today as we have many, and I was set on the Subaru before I even saw it, until the manager as well as another employee came up to me and said "we are declining to do business with you period" citing my last test drive almost 6 months ago. I drove very safely, and my job involves driving long periods, I am a very safe driver. This is blatant racism being I am middle eastern Egyptian. Next time you decide to call and ask someone to take the time out of their day to drop everything and come in, make sure you are ready to be professional and follow through with a showing and sale, instead of declining business but still showing me a vehicle that wouldn't even start, and not allowing me to test drive after repeatedly asking me to come. Took my 2022 GLA45 in for service and after I got home the invoice was emailed to me. I noticed my vehicle had been driven on a 105 mile test drive. When I questioned my service advisor via text he advised the milage was a guess as my vehicle was towed in. Totally false as I drove my car into the dealership. Feldmann has mixed up my vehicle account and my wife's vehicle account so bad that I can't use the Mercedes-Benz app as when I sign in it says I don't have an account. The dealership has blocked my phone number so I xant call in and if I use another phone and leave a message for Kurt the service manager he won't return my calls. Service has gone way down hill since Tyler our original advisor left. I am guess he saw some negative changes and left. Also had a scuff on my driver front rim, made an appointment with John Pfifer and when I showed up he forgot to make the appointment and said the tire and rime guy is by appointment only. My service advisor, Kelin Holmen at Feldmann was one of the best I've ever experienced. I have been living in Orange County, CA and been driving Mercedes since I was a teenager. I did stray away for a few years, but return back to Mercedes because of the solid build quality and service from the dealerships. I am in Minnesota for work for a few months, and heard a noise coming from from my front-end of the car. I called Feldmann Imports Mercedes and received an inspection appointment for the next morning. When I arrived for my appointment, I was taken care of right away. After maybe 90 minutes, my service advisor approached me with a fix, it was just a wheel alignment issue, but I needed all new tires about 15,000 miles. That's OK because I didn't care for the run-flats tires. I advised him that I am looking to purchase the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S but will be back later for the alignment, and that is exactly what I did. Here's the kicker, I called m advisor but didn't know when I could make it to the dealership and he said that I can come in at anytime and he will take care of me: that's exactly what he did. I showed up without an appointment but he had a tech perform my 4-matic wheel alignment in about an hour. Obviously I'm returning to them for my Service B in a few month. By the way, I am currently driving a 2020 C43 AMG. read more

This dealership contacted me numerous times via phone, email, and text to come in because they "needed cars for their lot." At the rate of their communication, I had to unsubscribe a few times and still managed to be contacted. After doing my due diligence to inform them that I had a lease, and wanted some equity out of it, they assured me that they would love to take in the car and buy it out from MBFS. I also made it clear that I did not want to purchase this car or get a new MB since I had plans to go with a different brand. They assured me this was no problem and that they were in desperate need of cars on their lot and I could get some equity. I shared every detail before my appointment including the buy out from MBFS. They were all for it. They even went so far as to create a quote before I got there, which was $4k more than the lease buy out. Sounded good to me. I expected to get at least 2k out of the deal. After driving two hours to get to their dealership, Michael Popp, the used car manager tried to flip this around and tell me that they could do nothing for me except turn in the lease and get $0 out of the deal, and walk away. OR get it certified through them for a fee. I already explained to them before I got there that this was not what I wanted. Their strategy of getting you in the doors and telling you the opposite of what they tell you over the phone is a tactic that I'm sure many people fall for. But all in all they wasted my time. I was able to go elsewhere and accomplish my goal of getting equity out of my lease. Poor communication skills on their part, and they are quick to place the blame on anyone else on their team to make themselves look better. Including upper management who called me after the visit to mansplain why they "couldn't" get me equity out of the lease. I was able to elsewhere, so I don't trust this dealer at all. I went to Feldmann Imports with a on/off start problem and check engine light on. I was pretty sure it was the battery causing most of the problem. I was talked into getting there $214. point inspection which I okayed. I left for lunch and when I returned I was told the main problem found was that my Transmission Control Module was bad and it would cost just under $3000. to be replaced. Knowing a little about cars ( I had a dealers license for 30 years) I thought that would be odd for a car with only 42k miles on it. Thus I chose not to have the work done while I got a second opinion. On my way home I got a flashing warning to pull over as my car was overheating in the danger zone. I have NEVER had my car overheat! I had to sit along the freeway and then drive at a slow speed to get home. I called the service person Toby and left a message about how scared I was about the overheating, that came all of a sudden after I had my car checked out at Feldmann, and wanted him to call me back. I never got a call. I am glad I chose not to have the TCM work done by Feldmann because I consulted with two different foreign car places both saying it would be odd for a TCM to have to be replaced in a low mileage car. The second place did another point inspection and found a cap screwed on wrong, most likely from The Feldmann inspection, and NO problem with the TCM. They said there was a small area on the water pump that was damaged and causing a 'residual leak'. I totally believe Feldmann damaged it during their inspection just like they couldn't even screw a cap on correctly. With that and making up a problem with the TCM, so they could charge almost $3000. to do work not needing to be done, is totally unforgiveable. Others need to know how unscrupulous Feldmann Imports is so this does not happen to anyone else. Since that happened weeks ago I have not had a single problem with my car thus proving they were scamming me for a new TCM I did not need. Lastly I wrote a letter to Feldmann Imports customer service and again not surprised I did not get a response. One of the sales Manager was there in a vehicle and asked about my car...said it should be on other side. I told him to wait, because it was extremely cold outside..no vehicle and he just drove off. I purchased an E43 in July and was pleased with my sales experience with Scott. At the time of my purchase, I was told that the little dent in the center console touchpad (see picture) would be fixed on my first service visit. A month later, I had my first service visit and they did not fix the dent. When I picked up my car, I told my service advisor John about this and he said they would get the part in next week and call me to set up a time to come in to fix it. I have now been waiting two months for John to call me about fixing this; it is incumbent on him and the service department to do so. We drove from Indiana to purchase a late model used CLA 250. From the moment we walked in my wife and I were treated like we were purchasing the most expensive car in the place. Everyone, from the reception at the front desk, to the sales team, financing, and even delivery gave us outstanding service. When we got the car back to Indy we noticed a small oil leak. After bringing it to the local Mercedes dealer we were told it would not be an item covered under warranty. When I called Feldmann and told them the situation I was immediately assured they would take care of it. What struck me as particularly noteworthy was that Ashley, our salesperson, had not been there very long and did not hesitate to immediately say the issue would be taken care of. The service manager, Greg, then called and offered to pay the local dealership with his own personal credit card if I could not for whatever reason wait for a reimbursement check. Even the local Mercedes dealership was impressed by their responsiveness. When a newer employee feels empowered to take care of a customer without question that speaks directly to the culture of a business. We drove from Indiana because they had a car with the options we were looking for. We'll drive back because we're young enough to purchase quite a few more cars in our lifetimes and we're old enough to recognize that this level of service is exceptional. Terrible Sales service. The ordering manager neglected to enter my order correctly, then didn't take ownership of the mistake, instead they decided to push me to purchase the vehicle built incorrectly and lied about the order being "locked in" even though they have significant amounts of time to place the order in correctly. They had the correct order the same day I was notified of an allocation. Michael the Sales manager, did less than nothing to try to correct the situation. All he did was tell me it was "locked in"... and there was nothing they could do... and that if I didn't take the vehicle the next one would be 6-8 months out. Multiple failures at all levels. No ownership of the mistake, and no effort made to correct the situation. Feldmann is not where you want to go to buy a vehicle. If we could give zero stars, we would. My wife and I leased a EQS 450 SUV from this dealership based on the build sheet that was downloaded on the vehicle from the Feldmann website. After taking delivery, we find out the build sheet was incorrect and it didn't have the heated steering wheel as listed on the build sheet. Basically , the vehicle that was delivered was not the vehicle that we thought it was based on the build sheet. I just spoke with Tom, the sales manager, and he stated "if" that was the build sheet from their website, that it was incorrect and probably from the manufacturer. To imply that it may not be the build sheet dowloaded from their site was totally unprofessional. I sent the salesperson the build sheet prior to purchase so...they knew what we were looking at. Tom stated that there is nothing they can do about the heated steering and offered up another accessory in exchange. Here's the issue, we leased this vehicle from Feldmann based on it having this important feature. Not the only reason, but was one of the main reasons. The dealership should do the right thing. I would give zero stars if possible. I made an appointment to view a vehicle, was on time, only to be told that the service technician had taken it home for the evening to finish the inspection. Nobody from Feldmann cared to call and let me know. We are a two Mercedes family, with loyalty to the brand, but I recommend going to Sears or Maplewood after this experience. Sales person who I made the appointment with didn't need to do any work, just have the courtesy to pick up the phone or send an email. Feldmann just didn't do it. Lazy and rude! I appreciated the Feldmann employees doing this, after I requested it, making it seem like they wanted my business. As of now, I have put a deposit on the vehicle I originally went in to see last week, and hopefully everything will work out. The car had not yet gone through reconditioning or detail, so I have to wait to see what happens. 8/23/18 - Back to zero stars. I purchased this vehicle on 8/11/18, waited for delivery until 8/18/18 because work still hadn't been completed that we requested on 8/3/18. Upon delivery, the paintwork that was agreed upon not be completed. Feldmann "offered" to let me bring it in, show the manager, and try to figure something out. This repair was agreed upon in the purchase order, my wife has had the car for 5 days, although we paid for it on 8/11/18. Wife was denied a loaner vehicle while the work was being done the first time, and the work wasn't completed. Now requested to have it done, again, and denied a loaner vehicle again. It is a Mercedes-Benz certified pre owned ML350, not an inexpensive car. What a terrible experience this has been. Sears Imported Autos never treated us like this. I came in at 10:00 this morning to look at a used $30,000 car that was gone until Friday because it was being detailed. When I got to the appointment that I made on Tuesday, I was informed that the car I was looking at had already been sold. I juggled child care to be able to make it there, I spent over an hour cleaning out my other car, and I rescheduled a bunch of meetings I had for work to be at this meeting. I normally go to a different location but after receiving a free service coupon for the location, decided to give Feldmanns a try. What a mistake. I arrived to my appointment five minutes early. After waiting for 30 minutes, I was asked to review some additional services. I agreed to half of them and was told my vehicle would be done in 30-45 minutes from then. Time seemed to keep slowly passing as I was sitting in the service waiting room, which was inconveniently backing the detail bay which had loud music and a trembling bass that played every 5 minutes. After I had been there for 2 hours and 30 minutes, and 50 minutes past the maximum time I was told my vehicle would be done, I decided to check on the status myself. As I had suspected, my car had been ready. Already frustrated at this point, I was excited to checkout and leave. As I mentioned, I had a free service A coupon which included many things among "fluid changes" and "filter changes", both things I needed done in addition but were listed on my sheet. When I explained this to Kelin, I was told that "fluid changes" only includes "synthetic oil changes", which was also listed on my free services list. My husband said that seemed very misleading to include both if it was in fact only one. Kelin said, "There are many different oils in a vehicle. Fluid changes only include oil changes so you should really just disregard the "fluid changes" that's listed". I also needed new carbon and air filters, which also apparently didn't apply under the free "filter changes" listed. For anyone who receives a "free" service letter for this location, please know it's very misleading. It seemed as though the additional services were actually supposed to be included, but they wanted to make sure they made a profit off of my visit. I get both of my MBs serviced at Feldmann. After my latest service I received an email from their sales dept saying my car was in high demand and they would like to offer to buy it. I went through the on line process, including pictures, since they service the vehicle they already had that information. I received a written offer of over $49,000 with the sales person saying the amount could be higher once they see the vehicle. So I went in. Much to my chagrin, their new offer was just over $43,000. When I inquired as to why the difference, the new sales person said it's just what he was told by the sales manager. Needless to say I was fairly frustrated, and asked to speak to the sales manager who told me a) he needs to talk to IT to understand how they valued the vehicle so high ( he wasn't totally familiar with the tool they use). Keep in mind that a sales rep gave me a value, and sales reps never give values unless someone signs off on it. And b) he was a "new car guy" and wasn't familiar with used cars. I guess at Feldmann new cars are never purchased using trade ins.... Bottom line is they did not honor their original value. This was a bait and switch pure and simple. I have purchased 4 vehicles from Feldmann over the years, and used their service department. That came to an abrupt and sudden end today. read more

I would not buy a car here if it were the last car dealership in the state. I made the mistake a few weeks ago in filling out an online form requesting a car I am looking for. On the form I indicated clearly that my preferred method of contact was email. Within moments of clicking send, I get a phone call from a salesman. I tell him that I'm just walking into a work meeting and ask him to email me. He proceeds to call me fairly regularly, ignoring the fact that I had asked for email communication. In any case I decided to stop by and see what they had to offer. What a mistake. When someone finally approached us to offer help, I gave the name of the the salesman who had been calling me. They mumbled that they would go find him. They never returned. Later another staffer approached and asked if we were being helped. Same thing, they went off in search of my salesman, and never returned. I'm guessing he was not working that day, but apparently the thought never occurred to these staff members to follow up and offer another sales rep. After we got bored waiting I approached the reception desk and asked for any salesman. A stereotypical car salesman with a dark suit, slick backed greasy gray hair and 1980s stainless and gold Rolex slipped in from the back, went to his desk and grabbed a breath mint, believing I'm guessing, that this would mask the stench of cigarettes from his breath and clothes. He was wrong. He clearly had almost zero interest in helping us. We had evidently failed to impress him. Reluctantly he took down information about the type of car we were shopping for and contact info. He promised to have someone call us back the next business day and follow up. Needless to say, he never did. Which is no real surprise. He had all the sincerity of a guy who had worked his whole life lying, cheating, and trying to impress others. He somehow believed that because he worked among expensive cars, it made him special. Between the unwanted phone intrusions, and the horrific first impressions walking into the showroom, I would not dream of spending my money here. I bought my last Mercedes at Sears (the other Benz retailer locally), and will certainly go back there for my next. Feldmans is closer to my new home, but I don't care. I'd rather drive to Duluth to buy one (if I had to) than deal with this bunch of narcissists with no concept of customer service. If they act like this when they are trying to earn your business, I can only imagine how they treat you once they already have your money. If you make the ill-advised trip to this office, good luck to you, I hope you find some better staff than we did. You certainly won't find me there. read more

Isn't it good to have an update after a bad review? Because in a true happy ending, everyone's a winner. I received a call from Feldmann imports on Monday, technically after one business day of posting my previous review. On behalf of the owner, I received utmost regrets from their office regarding the lapse in communication during the transaction. They will also be compensating me for the difference between the Initial agreed-upon payment and the final payment. The dealership could have simply ignored my review and went on with their business but for the reason that they decided to follow up and take corrective action for what happened, it is only fair that i append an update to my review. I believe that they are sincere in their commitment for providing good customer service and the owners want to do their best to deal with any complaints that may arise and do care about their clients. read more
