My dad specifically requested that his dog be cremated and the ashes returned, but when he called today, they told him his dog was disposed of. This has been heartbreaking for our family. I do not want to be negative, but I want to caution others to make sure to clarify everything and get confirmation if you go there. I brought my sister for their Saturday kitten yoga and it was seriously one of the best experiences I have ever had in Omaha. I never thought I would get the opportunity to do something like this, so when I saw the listing on their Instagram, I immediately bought tickets. When we arrived at Felius, we were greeted by the friendliest and kindest staff, who were very helpful in guiding us through the process. I had never been so I was not sure what to expect, but I was truly wowed. First of all, the yoga instructor was very kind and helpful, and I felt her yoga routine was very soothing and easy to follow for all ages. I am not necessarily great at yoga but I found it simple to follow along, and I loved her guided meditation and the soothing music that accompanied the workout. The kittens they had in the room were absolutely the cutest and most darling animals I have ever seen, and if anything it was difficult to focus not because they were disruptive, but of how stinking cute they were! At one point a kitten even jumped on my back while in cat/cow pose, and I caught it on video! The kittens and cats were so friendly and well-behaved, and it is evident they are super comfortable around people. By the end we were even given around 30 minutes of play time with them, which is honestly the best deal since there were not many of us! From the beginning they responded to all of my questions very quickly. The facility was nice with clean beds, towels, bowls, and kennels. I opted to leave their food which they were ok with. They sent pictures daily and gave me updates daily (sometimes more when I asked questions). I thought their price was very reasonable for 3 dogs and was happy to see they offered a military discount. When we got our dog almost 3 years ago, I took her to the groomer at this location and they did a fine job but these days I prefer to bathe her myself at Green Spot or Pets Earth. It's cheaper to do it yourself and I don't have to leave her there for a few hours. We also brought her to Introductory and Advanced Training classes with Jessie and she was great! The classes were small so we got lots of one-on-one attention and she really knew her stuff about dog training and nutrition. We buy treats and Blue brand wet food here but I usually buy Fromm dry (which they don't carry) over at the Green Spot. PetSmart is an ideal place to take our dog in lieu of a walk on days when it's cold, snowing or raining so we're there quite frequently. She loves the outing and the staff know her by name!

When we checked in, we were the only ones participating in the private experience. The intern working there, I believe her name was Kara, was very friendly and did an excellent job explaining everything throughout the tour. This experience is advertised as an "interactive, hands-on experience," where you get to meet some animals that aren't included with general admission, such as the capybara, kangaroo, fox, porcupine, and raccoons. Most of the other animals can be interacted with during the regular experience, with the exception of the animals mentioned above and the wolfdog. The description states that the tour lasts 90 minutes, but we completed the entire experience in about 40 minutes. That may have been because it was just the two of us rather than a full group of six. As part of the safari experience, you're able to choose one animal to spend an additional 10-15 minutes with, and we chose the fox. I do wish they had mentioned at the beginning of the tour that the foxes tend to be skittish. Had we known that, we might have chosen a different animal for our extended interaction. They also provide a bucket of food so you can feed some of the animals during the experience. Overall, we definitely enjoyed spending time with the animals and learning more about them. However, in my opinion, the experience is priced way too high for what is included. While it was a fun and memorable visit, I personally don't feel it was worth the $125 per person cost.
