From my very first initial contact, the staff was quick to respond, was warm, professional, and so patient in answering every question. They explained the entire process in plain language so I felt informed and comfortable before even stepping foot in the office. When I came in for my consultation, Dr. Rivers was just as kind, personable, and friendly as everyone had described. He walked me through the different vision correction options, explained the pros and cons of each, and made recommendations based on my needs -- without ever making me feel pressured. I ended up choosing the SMILE procedure, which was offered at a flat, affordable cost for both eyes (no hidden fees or "per eye" surprises that I was seeing everywhere). The procedure itself was fast and smooth. Dr. Rivers has such a calming presence he talked me through every step, making sure I was comfortable and fear-free. There's even a waiting area where your family or friends can watch the procedure if they'd like, which I thought was a cool touch. I noticed a difference in my vision immediately after the procedure -- I could read the time on the digital clock in the wall right away! By the next day, my vision was perfectly clear. They sent me home with everything I needed: eyedrops for moisture, antibiotic drops, sunglasses, coupons!!! and clear instructions for aftercare. I experienced only minimal discomfort in the days following. The office is beautiful!!! It's modern, great views, clean, and spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating. The location is super convenient, and I loved that there was garage parking with an exterior door that led directly into their office (no awkward walking around a building post-procedure!). Now, a year later, my vision is still perfect. The best part? Waking up and not needing to reach for glasses or think about contact lenses at all. It's been truly life-changing. If you've been on the fence about LASIK or SMILE, I can't recommend Dr. Rivers and the Envue team enough. They made the entire process easy, comfortable, and -- best of all -- successful!

Please read this BEFORE you decide to use Lexington Plastic Surgery for any procedure!!!…read more I had a consultation in Fall of 2023 for a keloid removal. It's done virtually only by what they call a "consultant or representative of the company". This person is NOT the doctor or nurse doing your procedure. Regardless, I felt comfortable enough with the consultation to proceed with scheduling my keloid because social media and their website will have you thinking they are the best. During the consultation they stated the procedure has a 95% rate of the keloid not returning due to their "methods" of aftercare such as laser treatments and steroid injections and follow up appointments throughout a year period that is ALL INCLUDED IN THE SURGERY PRICE. That's what Dr. Jones proudly states on his website and when you call the practice number. The surgery went well but after my surgery is where the unacceptable, unprofessional, and lack of responsibility for my care started. Immediately after my surgery which began at 830am, I was sent to another floor for my first follow up laser treatment. I had to wait 2 whole hours to be seen by the laser tech!! I was in a ton of pain from the surgery and couldn't believe that they didn't take me immediately considering I was schedule for my procedure that day. It was painful and irresponsible medical care. That was my first sign of the deplorable service and after are at this business. Next, I was told I had to schedule follow up treatments in intervals so that they could monitor if the keloid was starting to return and if so slow down the growth of it. I proceeded to schedule a few appointments. One day prior to my follow up after care appointment at the Oxon Hill Location, I received a confirmation text for my appointment. But showed up the for the appointment for the office to be completely CLOSED!!! I couldn't believe a "reputable" surgery and medical practice would be completely closed on a day of a scheduled appointment they reminded me to come to! This happened twice since my surgery. You read that correctly. 2 times the office has not be available for my scheduled appointment for after care. The only number they have is a call center which has repeatedly "fielded" my calls to speak to management and the medical team and yet no one has called me back. The company states the success rate is largely due to the aftercare you receive and yet they don't provide it efficiently or professionally. My keloid is starting to return and the can't even have nurses or medical professionals available to respond. Medical care doesn't stop when the surgeon walks out the surgery room. This places lacks business operations, proper medical care staff, and leadership/CEO that cares about patients!! I paid for both the surgery and aftercare and haven not received it.

I had surgery over 2 years ago and my big toe on my right foot is stiff as a board, no range of motion at all. (Severe Stiffness in the Big Toe Joint). In my quest to get help for severe right foot pain I was having, and which I am still having, I stupidly returned to this doctor. And only because he would be familiar with my feet. Or one would think.... I was having severe pain on the ball of my right foot. He came in and asked what the problem was and proceeded to shave an area on the ball of my foot with a scalpel after one of his assistants directed me to soak my foot in a bucket. (Yes a bucket). The doctor came back in and sprayed my foot with something and left. Then an assistant can in and put a small bandage on my foot. That was it, no explanation, no diagnosis nothing. A month later I received a bill in the mail for $98. What really ticked me off was the fact that I was blatantly overcharged for services, some of which I DID NOT ASK FOR! Charges that I also reported to my insurance company. $83 for that piece of bandage they put on the bottom of my foot. $61 for debridement nails... So you just going to charge people $61 to cut a toe nail, something I don't even remember him doing. I could have gotten the DELUX Pedicure at the nail salon for that price!! The report sent to my insurance company mentioned my left foot, note HE DID ABSOLUTLY NOTHING TO MY LEFT FOOT. And $130 for unnecessary x-rays. RUN don't walk away from this place. HIS ACCOUNTING PERSON NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO SPEAK TO PATIENTS. VERY RUDE!!

Physical Therapy front desk receptionist in Dec2016-17 & the therapist from then was rude by…read morecalling me a liar, stating I need a script from a physician to come to physical therapy (PT) even though I gave them my post operative notes from an approved Medicare surgery. Medicare states that all "original medicare patients" do not need a script for anything except lab work or imagery. Medicares website policy on PT states: Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) helps pay for medically necessary outpatient physical therapy. (Medical necessary means: Health care services or supplies needed to diagnose or treat an illness, injury, condition, disease, or its symptoms and that meet accepted standards of medicine.) The physical therapy centers "interpret" Medicare's statement as "only a doctor can deem it a necessity" & because PT clinics don't have "MD" credentials, you have to get evaluated by a physician outside their PT clinic for approval of PT prior to receiving treatment. I've received answers from several different customer service representatives at Medicare & their supervisors. They've stated that it's not a necessity to get a script when I: 1. Have an MRI diagnosis 2. Accomplished pre-op PT before Medicare surgery approval 3. Have the surgery approved by Medicare A physical therapist can do an evaluation after surgery & write notes to Medicare that PT is needed after my approved Medicare surgery per the "specific Medicare written guidelines". You cannot find where the necessity must be on a script from a doctor nor it has to be from a physician outside of the PT office. After an MRI diagnosis by a radiologist doctor, I had a July 2021 surgeon visit & an August 2021 physical therapist evaluation in which they both stated physical therapy is not how you treat my injury...only surgery can fix what I have... But yet the PT clinic booked PT appointments even though the injury was deemed "surgical repair only". The PT made my injury worst. Wouldn't you worry about not getting reimbursed for an injury physical therapy is clearly stated it won't help? Which means my Aug-Sep2021 physical therapy should have not been paid for by Medicare since PT was NOT "...medically necessary...". It seems as if interpretations should not include words not written. Clearly the Medicare words written does not state in what form to receive my diagnosis/injury. Which makes this companies assumptions unwarranted. But allegedly PT still has to be booked to "check a box" with Medicare because, Medicare won't pay for surgery unless you try PT 1st even if it's medically written that PT isn't medically necessary for my particular injury. So you're saying Medicare would risk injurying a patient further after 2 medical professionals tell them that PT will not only not make the injury better, but could further injure the patient? Regulations change periodically in any job & Medicare isn't any different. This office might want to keep abreast of how to write evaluations to ensure reimbursement. It just seems as if this company wants i.e. a surgeon to agree with a therapist prior to a therapist eval when Medicare only needs 1 statement from anywhere (MRI, lab work, post-op notes) diagnosing me & then have a therapist professional state how to proceed after the diagnosis.
