I called around some other appliance places to try to get somebody out right away to try to salvage the rest of my food, but nobody could come out the same day. Five star appliance, on the other hand, after saying that I was very concerned over my food, managed to find a way to fit me in for the day. The technician who arrived on time was very kind and very thorough and diagnosed me with a broken compressor. We talked about some options and he let me know what the warranty would look like and other details and helped me make a decision on how to proceed. I did choose to go with buying a new refrigerator and I think that was a good decision and 5 star helped me make it. I will definitely call them in the future for other appliance repair needs. Their pricing was fair. They were prompt and they were courteous.

Do yourself a favor call the manufacturer and request repair from them. They will actually send a certified tech out. That's not gonna try and upsell you apart that you actually don't need because of lack of total investigation of your issue. That was the problem. The tech was lazy. He didn't complete the job and said he was up selling me a higher priced part that I didn't even need. What a crappy business.

The CPU was replaced on the first visit and the machine ended up having the same issues over and over again. Here we go: Hallway tile job - tile grout lines don't match with old ones - Grout width not consistent. - Tile depth not consistent (tile is protruding in several spots) - Tile cuts have several chips, which presents a risk for injury. Master bath shower curb job - Cement casting spilled and hardened over new flooring - Shower Curb width not consistent - Shower curb not level to the inside of shower - Tile cuts have chips all around, risk for injury or laceration when entering/existing shower. - Tile depth not consistent. - Grout width not consistent with old one - Tile sizing is bigger than the placement space and lips over. - Inside part of shower curb hace a wide gap that was covered with grout instead of tile. Job site - Both tile jobs were left dirty with a white haze on all tiles. - Floor on master room was left dirty - Master Shower was left with rocks and debris. - Al the tile cuts scraps performed on porch was left on floor - Pavers weren't returned to original location - 1 paver was destroyed - Used incorrect mortar bag for project - Left trash in porch - Poured dirty waste water outside of dispensing area on the back yard - Left buckets dirty and with hardened grout in them For more details see attached photos and videos.

STAY AWAY! I requested service to unclog the drain in my fridge. My fridge is in an RV and the back…read moreof it cannot be easily accessed. Fortunately, per Whirlpool, the drain is accessed inside the freezer by removing a back panel. Technician arrived DRIVING A CAR not a service vehicle. He said he can't do the job because the fridge needs to be removed to access the back of it. He said, don't trust the Internet. When I explained that the Whirlpool site says the back doesn't need to be accessed. He said he can do it, doesn't want to do it and it will be expensive. I declined the work because he didn't want to do it, drove up in a car and his "service bag" was smaller than my purse!

I still have a leak, they left the components hanging out of the back of the fridge, flooded the kitchen floor and still charged me a call out fee and a fee for work done!
